Best house salad I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. Then we both had rolls that were amazing! Joanne was our waitress and she was so kind and efficient. “This was my second time ordering pickup from bbq chicken in Tysons, after being impressed with my previous experience. This time, my order was ready a couple of minutes after I arrived at the restaurant. It was a Friday mid-afternoon, and the place was not busy at all.
However, this time the chicken was less crispy than before. Maybe they used too much sauce, but the batter was noticeably thinner than the first time, and slightly soggy. The chicken meat was cooked well, but I much preferred my first time's results.

I will give them another chance to match the crispiness of my first order.“

“The food was really delicious, just like what I used to eat when I went to visit my grandmother in Korea! Tofu stew, jjolmyeon, and kimbap with a lot of perilla seed powder, and the side dishes, especially young radish kimchi, are the best.... In this time of rising prices, the price and quantity are good, and the taste is truly the best!“

“This was the first time I've ever had Korean BBQ and the waiter was very patient, knowledgeable, and pleasant to talk to. He made many suggestions and I was pleasantly surprised to love everything he brought me. Made the whole experience enjoyable.

I was visiting from out of town and remarked to one of the other staff members that I'll have to find a good Korean BBQ spot when I get home and they where quick to make recommendations and load me up with Korean snacks/chips/drinks for the road which where delicious.

The banchans are yummy, and every dish except the cabbage kimchi was vegetarian, which was helpful for the one vegan in my group, and they were able to find good options on the menu as well. I ordered the individual combo, with the pork stir fry and seafood tofu soup. My friend who ordered galbi got a lot more meat than I did, I was jealous. Everything was delicious. I ordered medium spicy level for the tofu soup, I could probably gone for spicy. A friend who is sensitive for spicy food regretted getting mild and said they could comfortably handle medium. “Been here a few time with my friends and it has been consistently a great time! The spot is nice, staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms are well maintained, the tech is easy to navigate. There’s just a lot of good things I can say. I will warn you, the Karaoke is pricey (can’t remember off the top of my head) and the food is great but expensive, so eat beforehand if that is a concern for you.“

The ramen was a very large volume for one person and had many vegetables, good flavor. Gyoza was standard. Overall, a good meal but on the pricier side for the food options in NOVA. The restaurant is one of many in the dining hall and is one we frequent out of convenience. Make sure to bring your trays and dishes back to the restaurant you order from!“

“20240701 I ordered the D5 Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap. It arrived sizzling hot in a crackpot. It stayed really hot for a long time. It was delicious! Definitely tasted even better with the red sweet and spicy sauce. I actually like being left alone when I'm eating, and if I need something, I will get the attention of the server. After the waiter dropped my food off, I never saw anyone again until I was getting ready to leave. It's good for me, but it might not be for another customer. The prices are a bit high, but that's everything and everywhere with Bidenomics ?. I would come back here again.“

Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

I was completely surprised by the size of the cutlassfish.
However, I didn't know that lunch was not available on weekends, so I ordered two for lunch. I also added dumplings..haha
Lunch and dinner prices are different.
Although we couldn't confirm it.

I have been going to red holic since 2010 and the owners have been consistently changing however the current owner knows how to do bunshik! Twigims are so crispy, tteokbokki and kimbaps are perfect, soondae is alright.
Do not expect a five star restaurant level service here because that is simply not what korean bunshick is about.

“This place is a FIVE stars for one simple reason, the food is incredible! Prices are more so reasonable for the portions too. The soups are made of broth, not water. The fried food is always white, not dark cause the oil changed and not just topped off. I never had any problem with the staff or service cause I treat them with respect. They can make any anything more or less spicy, just need to ask. They're always sanitizing when I visit.“
