The term "po jang ma cha" in korean is known as a secluded place to get comfort food with good company. So literally being a hidden gem, pang pang has never disappointed. You don't have pushy bartenders or servers and you will never feel out of place. The hardest part is finding the place but that's what adds to the experience in my opinion. Good luck finding this, literally, hidden gem.
I've lived in Annandale a couple years and just found about Pangpang through a Yelp search suggestion. I like exploring the local spots so a friend and I stopped in for some drinks on a Saturday evening. We arrived early (around 8 PM) and were the only customers at the bar but sounded like they had a lively group in one of the karaoke rooms. It's a very cool spot! Decided to try Pangpang Cafe after reading the other positive reviews here and so glad we did. It was slightly hard to find, as others have noted, but not so hard to deter us from going. My sister wanted to do karaoke for her bachelorette party, and the place we used to go to has closed down, but this may be our new spot!
