“Charming strip mall ramen shop with top notch food and service. Took a coworker to lunch and was rewarded with a meal that hit all the right notes. Food was hot and fresh. Ramen was well presented and had nuanced seasoning. Service was brisk and friendly. A real gem!”

For our entrées, we had the Kabuli with Boneless Chicken, served with rice and turnips, and the Chicken Lawand, served with rice and spinach. Both dishes were full of delicious flavors. And there was so much food! We both ate until we were full and still had half (or more) of the dish left. We very much enjoyed the food. We sat at the bar, but it was more of a counter as there was no overhang to eat on, so we were on stools and had to lean over the counter to eat - that was just poor design. There were tables open, so if I go back, I will definitely sit at a table to be more comfortable.”

“My first time at Chao Phra Ya. Lunch today with my brother. Busy but seated with no wait, friendly fast service, great menu, lovely warm decorations. Ordered the Som Tom (papaya salad), vegetable green curry, and tofu with bean sprouts. Som Tom was delicious, reminded me of Som Tom in Bangkok. Love the fact they used ripe cherry tomatoes in the Som Tom. Green curry was also quite traditional and very flavorful. I was very happy the chef used some green chili peppers for flavor and little heat. Tofu with bean sprouts was tasty and perfect textures. Overall an excellent experience. Will definitely dine here again if I am in this area.Vegetarian options: As with many Thai restaurants, there are plenty of vegetarian options and many non-vegetarian entrees can be made vegetarian.Parking: Large shopping center parking lot. Can be congested at times but always find a space.”

“What a wonderful little shop! The food was delicious, the store was cute and impeccably clean, and the wood fire cooking and the rotisserie chicken made the store smell *really* good. This is an EXCELLENT location for Peruvian rotisserie chicken. It’s a great value too; 1/4 chicken and 2 sides was $11, and the portions were generous. I’ll DEFINITELY be back!”

A lot of places have menus with good options but still have a fast food atmosphere? You know? Lunch at Greenfare turned into an experience. The food was AMAZING. “I’ve grown up eating “real” Pakistani food… so many aunts in the US made it for family gatherings and my various trips to Pakistan I had so many authentic dishes and even amazing street foods… So, now I yearn the authentic flavors and preparation and ever since coming here over a year ago for the first time, I have now found a place where I can get those flavors!This isn’t the typical “local plaza” kabob joint (which, BTW, those aren’t really flavorful, as they make more “American style” food than authentic food), they offer a very traditional meal, the “Pakistani Brunch!” I grew up enjoying this meal at various family’s houses and always enjoyed it, but it’s not until the past 20 years when I can no longer have relatives to visit that I yearn for this meal… Then I found this joint!Desi Breakfast Club does it right and very authentic and that’s why they’re packed for brunch! The flavors are spot-on…. The spices in the dishes are what you’d expect…. The menu is what you desire if you want real, authentic, Pakistani brunch food.Overall, I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been great! Service is excellent too! Prices are very reasonable! I tend to go for the tom yum soup, which is especially nice on cold days.My barometer for Thai food is the kapow with beef. That is to say, if I go to a Thai restaurant for the first time, I'm getting this. And at Nan Thai, it's amazing. This dish at some places shows up with ground beef or somewhat dry dense rigid pieces. Here they're substantial, very juicy, and floppy. Absolutely delicious.Of course I've explored the menu and inquired how others enjoyed their meals. In my memory, everyone's left happy ... and often with a to-go box.The restaurant has outdoor seating on the walkway if the weather's good, but otherwise come inside for a more tropically styled bar/restaurant scene. Despite often being full, it's easy to have conversations with the people at your table.”

Highest rated taco place in town? Okay, I'm interested.Ordered the 3 tacos specials and chicken quesadillas. Each of the tacos had 2 slices of tortillas, so your tacos don't fall apart. Each taco had more than enough protein and so much flavors. Delicious and flavorful. Quesadillas were cut into 4 handprint slices and served with sour cream and salsa, which was enough food by itself.No frills, set in the corner of a strip mall, these are the places you luck upon and dream of while your plane flies back home.If I lived here, I would be a weekly patron. I ate the tacos and saved the quesadillas for a late night hotel snack.If I'm ever back in Herndon VA, this is the first place I'm stopping by.”

“Favorite pizza place in town. The cheese on the pizza is delicious, excellent crust and sauce. I call my order in, leave, 10 minutes later it's ready. Convenient location, plenty of parking. X-large is about $15, which is awesome these days for the quality”

The best part is you don’t even have to be from West Africa to enjoy the food. People from all parts of the world enjoy her cooking. I will order over and over again. “I could tell the food was super high quality! However, I just was not a big fan of the thai cashew salad I got! I just did not think cashews mixed with a salad-type dish. In addition, it was a bit bland. I also ordered an apple-beet-cucumber juice which was absolutely delicious! I got an apple muffin for 99 cents which was also delicious! The fact that this place is organic/vegan, the prices were VERY fair. I will definitely come back and try something else because of the high-quality organic food that is all vegan. Service was very fast and good! The ambiance was super casual and just attached to the main restaurant. Some places to sit inside however I wish there was outdoor seating but it may be a rule in the complex not to have outdoor seating because no other place really did.”

It’s sometimes funny how some people understand the drinks and others are still learning so I can be a hit or miss on different Starbucks. The people on this Starbucks seem to know the culture and understand what you’re requesting. I really enjoyed the friendliness and the chitchat as I received my products.”
