This is Old Balaji with a new name and a new menu.
Balaji was a personal favorite till before Covid. And was sad to see the decline in quality and service due to Covid.
Chai Wyy is good for a quick snack. Or a platter with 2 or 3 curries. The food as I experienced was nice, not great not bad at all.
Pani poori won the battle among the few dishes we tried
Paneer Frankie was a decent paneer roll with mint chutney and onions. If you keep mumbai frankies in mind, then will certainly get disappointed, but otherwise it was good.
Paneer makhani was good
Saag paneer was average
Chapati tasted freshly made.
Overall good food
The person on the counter was very friendly and warm. I added 1 star in overall review for him.
Will try other items next time and report.

“For several years, the pizzas from Great Falls Deli Italiano were wonderful. Then the problems started - always something unsatisfactory with every order. And the pizza toppings were extremely skimpy. So we stopped ordering from them. Yesterday we decided to give them another try. Glad we did - the Quattro Formaggi pizza and the big steak sub were both delicious. Of course, based on previous experiences with skimpy toppings, I paid for extra amounts of each of the cheeses on the pizza. Do not know what it would be like without paying for extra amounts of toppings.”

“My fiancée and I pre-ordered online as we were returning to Herndon. When we arrived, the restaurant had received our order but they hadn’t been notified about it, so they said it would be just a few minutes. The owner was extremely apologetic and offered us a complimentary baklava as an apologetic gesture. As the kitchen prepared our order, we chatted the the owner (Sarfraz) and he was extremely pleasant. We tried the hummus, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, gyro sandwich and chicken souvlaki sandwich. Everything was well seasoned, fresh tasting (even at 8pm), and reasonably priced. Definitely cannot wait to go back and try more - esp. since we live less than a mile away…dangerous! They’re admittedly still getting their feet under them as they JUST opened, but highly recommend giving this place a shot!”

We savored Dahi Bhalla, Pav Bhaji, Misal, Halka Fulka Thali, and Kulcha Chole—all bursting with fresh and flavorful ingredients. It was a delightful journey back to the tastes of India. The cherry on top was the hospitality from restaurant owner Jai Patel. This place is a definite must-visit!

I had the duck, which was the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommend the restaurant.”

The salted caramel macaron was branded with our logo. When I met Chelsea to pick up the order, she couldn’t have been any sweeter or friendlier. She even threw in this fun box of assorted macarons, including a snowman macaron. They are the best-tasting macarons ever; my CEO and another coworker raved about how good they are, too! They have two individual bathrooms, that will need a passcode to get into from one of the employees.

“I went in today just before 11am. Needed a couple subs (cut in thirds) for a playdate. The nice guy offered to put them on a tray with cover, even threw in a pickle. Another time, I was juggling 2 kiddos alone and an employee refilled my drink and brought us a cookie. They always smile, don't grumble when we alter sub contents or cut small for kids. I call that great customer service! Fresh, delicious w/friendly staff. We love our Jimmy John's!”

“We stopped by recently while passing thru the area. We ordered Italian food from the restaurant across the street and saw the bakery. We stopped by and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and courteous. We didn’t get any bread, but they had various loaves available. We got some honey butter, chocolate chip cookies and berry scones. Everything was delicious! They also had muffins , brownie mixes, pancake mixes, etc. A nice place to stop by if you are in the area!”

“I went to cinnaholic recently to try out one of their cinnamon buns but got introduced to something else. When I walked in no was there. I called for help a couple of times but no response. A couple minutes later a baker came out from the back and was looking for someone to help me. Still no one came out. Before I walked in I saw a girl in the front of the restaurant on the phone. Apparently that girl was the cashier. Before the baker went back to the kitchen I asked for his recommendation. I say I was between the lemon/blueberry coffee cake and the Cookie Monster cinnamon bun. Surprisingly he said the lemon/blueberry coffee cake so that’s what I got. I also got a day after cinnamon roll with frosting on the side. Total ended up being the same as if I got the Cookie Monster cinnamon bun. I don’t regret my decision at all. Definitely a unique place.”
