“Hey, I don’t usually eat fried chicken whatsoever, but when I entered Dave’s Hot Chicken in Fairfax VA, I was immediately greeted by a young little middle eastern boy who I believe was named Ikram. I was really having a bad day, so this energy really made me excited to be there and eat. Ordering with the little gigglemug boy Ikram really made me a happy cabbage. It was just the pang-wangle I need to brighten my day. I ordered a number 3 with medium spice, and might I tell you it was delightful, dare I say near perfection. This is all thanks to my little kadoova Ikram, he really did it special, even going out of his way to advertise me a special drink called a flash in fruit punch slushy. For this hot day, it really hit the spot. This experience at Dave’s was just a 10/10. The food and service was just amazing. Ikram was simply the bee’s knees, the cherry on top for this experience.to have such another amazing experience at a take out restaurant, it would compare to herding cats! “Brought a party of 4 to Bonchon for the Tuesday $1 wing special and, as always, the wings were absolutely delicious. We ordered a large amount of wings along with cucumber salad, rice, and coleslaw. Unfortunately, the coleslaw never got brought out.

The food itself was great and the Tuesday wing special is honestly one of the best deals around. That said, the customer service could definitely improve. When our server brought out our 4 drinks, she placed them all on the opposite end of the table from where we were sitting, which came across as oddly passive aggressive and inconvenient. Also, throughout the meal, the server never once checked in to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything else — something that’s pretty standard at most restaurants, especially considering we eat here regularly.

Overall, the food quality and value keep us coming back, but the staff could really benefit from additional customer service training and better food service best practices.“

“A great place to bring the kids, because they have a play area (that is clean). The staff is always friendly and goes the extra mile offering to get drink refills or throw out your trash when you are done eating. The gold standard for fast food dining experiences. The owner/operator is a servant leader and strives to instill this in his employees, leading by example! Tried the diet sunjoy today with a side salad. Good stuff!“

Owners are very nice, I witnessed her once bring a fry pan out for customer to try sauce & she thought was too spicy so owner asked what she liked & invented her a new dish, and put it in computer so she could order it again. “I was unsure about getting the buldak rice bowl but when I had it, it was soo yummy! I also ordered spicy original wings, gojang wings, and the Secret Sauce wings. Those wings were very crispy, tasty, and makes my tongue melt every bite. On top of that, the waiter is very nice. The place itself is very clean and stylish. “This location can be a bit hectic but putting in and picking up a curbside order was a breeze. I came here specifically to try the new Jalapeno Ranch Club Sandwich. They did a good job. It was hot and fresh, but a bit too spicy for my liking. I was more aware of my mouth being on fire that anything savory. The best part honestly was the flavored candied bacon!“

Still the best in the game. The service was also super friendly and efficient, even during what looked like a busy time. While I didn't do delivery, I overheard a couple of folks mentioning some recent order issues, so maybe dine-in is the safer bet for now.
