Chicken sandwich was HUGE and their levels of hot are genuine! The bun was moist (pretty sure it was a potato bun) and they add thickly sliced pickles and slaw. The slaw isn't finely chopped and not overloaded with mayo and that gave a refreshing sensation and flavor to balance the heat. Always enjoy a nice sando sanmich! Meaty, crispy and flavorful. The slaw adds such great texture and the creaminess tames the heat from meat.Also recommend the ck/waffles!We were told the loaded fries are also good. Will have to try that next time!

Hangry Joe’s is great, especially with this location. Unlike the other hangry Joe’s in Fairfax, they serve boba tea, which is actually pretty good. Prices are reasonable and affordable for nearby students. Their food does take time, about 20-30 minutes, as they have with my order, but, overall, pretty good hot fried chicken.
