“First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and wow 🔥🐔 definitely impressed! I ordered the mini 4 pieces, Dave’s Mozz, and the PR Orange Lavaburst drink. Everything was sooo delicious and fresh. The chicken had amazing flavor with the perfect crunch. I honestly ate everything 😂💯 Customer service was great and the food came out hot and fast. I can see why everybody talks about this place now. “I ordered the Mo’sahab 6 piece spicy chicken box that came with fries. The guy was very friendly and warned me it would take about 15 minutes.

The chicken was massive! You get very good size piece and I assume they made it fresh given the time it took and the fact that it was piping hot. Spice is very moderate intensity. The dipping sauce was okay. It would’ve been nice to have other varieties of sauces. Only complaint was that the portion were so large I couldn’t finish it. A 2 or 3 piece portion would’ve been sufficient.“

“This was by far the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. First, when we walked through the door, the man at the counter was so friendly and helpful when it came to asking questions about the menu. We came to find out he was actually the owner. We sat down waiting on our food, and it was hot, fresh, and made to order. The flavor was outstanding! If you get a chance to stop by this spot, you will not be disappointed.“

“I really like the Chicken platter with white and Blazin sauce. Portion size is pretty big and always stuffed afterwards. I started replacing the fries on the plate with more salad instead as it’s refreshing.

Seating can be lacking as there’s only 5 tables and bar stools.“

“The staff here is extremely polite and helpful. I was greeted by Labrell who is extremely nice and helpful. He helped me and another couple get set up with the wonder app and gave recommendations on which foods to try. I highly recommend the wonder Reston location and if you get a chance to meet Labrell he will put a smile on your face and brighten your day!!“

Stopped by last night and had a great experience. This is a family-run halal spot and you can really feel the hospitality when you walk in. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly.

If you’re looking for a solid halal chicken and burger spot with great customer service, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Hey, I don’t usually eat fried chicken whatsoever, but when I entered Dave’s Hot Chicken in Fairfax VA, I was immediately greeted by a young little middle eastern boy who I believe was named Ikram. I was really having a bad day, so this energy really made me excited to be there and eat. Ordering with the little gigglemug boy Ikram really made me a happy cabbage. It was just the pang-wangle I need to brighten my day. I ordered a number 3 with medium spice, and might I tell you it was delightful, dare I say near perfection. This is all thanks to my little kadoova Ikram, he really did it special, even going out of his way to advertise me a special drink called a flash in fruit punch slushy. For this hot day, it really hit the spot. This experience at Dave’s was just a 10/10. The food and service was just amazing. Ikram was simply the bee’s knees, the cherry on top for this experience.to have such another amazing experience at a take out restaurant, it would compare to herding cats! “Food was pretty good, a bit overpriced for what you get. Spicy levels just seem to be more or less of the stuff they toss it in. I tried both hot and extra hot. It was flavorful and not just hot.. But the flavor was almost sweet, salty, and spicy.. Hard to explain. Fries were great. Employees were all top notch, service was impressive. Only one bathroom though.“

“20251231 I spotted this restaurant when I was at State Farm several doors down. I walked in 15 mins after it was open, first customer there. The lady who took my order was not friendly. I felt like I was bothering her. After paying for my order, she informed me that it will be 17 mins wait. Being first time here, I'm not sure if that's normal, but I can't imagine every customer has to wait 17 mins for their order?? I really like the chicken. It was so crunchy, tasty, juicy, and a little spicy even though I got Medium. I will definitely come back, but probably not this location.“

“Love Pollo Campero! The only downside to this location was when we ordered our two-piece chicken meals, they said it was going to take 40 minutes because they had to make more chicken! “This was close to work and I have been wanting to try this place. I had the carne asada platter. Nice portion size. Steak, plantains, rice with a nice egg on top. I substituted fries for yuca. I also ordered the papa rellena. Horchata was delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was great. The atmosphere was very casual.“

“This place is awesome. 10 years ago, I wrote an email to Cane’s begging them to open up some locations in the DC area — and they finally did. Chicken tenders are incredible, the french fries are crispy and delicious, and the Texas Toast offers a delicate softness grounded by a resounding crunch. And don’t even get me started on the sauce, there’s nothing like it in any other fast food joint on this planet. It’s amazing. Great service too.“

That’s kind of a big deal when it’s part of what makes the meal. Staff seemed overwhelmed, and things felt rushed. Food was fine overall, but the service and missing items took away from it.“

“Been eating at this chain my whole life and they’re still the only Chinese food restaurants I like. They use soy sauce rather than brown sauce which makes the biggest difference. Plus their prices and portion size can’t be beat. They closed 2 locations because of Covid but this one is still here and I drive out of my way to eat here. I hope this location and the rest never close.“
