Was in Springfield today and wanted to grab something different for dinner. I’m happy that I stopped Village chicken. If you’ve never been here I would definitely stop and give it a try. We got the chicken, souvlaki bowl and lamb Gyro and a shredded chicken bowl.
They were are absolutely amazing! We will be visiting again soon!
It's a great place! The food is excellent and the management and staff always super!

Village Chicken is a hidden gem and family friendly restaurant. The food is always delicious. The rotisserie chicken is the best in NoVA, seasoned extremely well and tender all the way through. The chicken combos are juicy and delicious. The sandwiches and subs are excellent. The platters are a favorite every time, with fluffy and flavorful rice, abundant and juicy meat, and toppings that add texture and flavor. The mac and cheese is better than homemade. The gyro has great flavor and great presentation, though the meat can be a little too salty. The cucumber salad is served with a creamy vinegar dressing, and the coleslaw is sweet but just right. The yucca fries are fire. The food is served on a solid plate, not flimsy plastic. Portions are large with great prices. The service is great, with super chill staff who check on customers. The owner is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The atmosphere is clean, with fun decorations and paintings on the walls, no sticky tables or greasy floors. The open kitchen is always clean. A good spot for a quick stop or family night out.
