Good breakfast options. Had the chicken fried steak. It was just good. The home fries need some love. Stated that they were with onions and peppers but had to search for them. I personally prefer a more hearty sausage gravy rather then the peppered country gravy that this came with. I would come back and just try something different next time. Seems popular with the locals, so that says something.

We did take-out (in hindsight, we probably should have ate in the cheery restaurant). Our order was quickly taken by and rung up by the hostess. She was right that it would be ready in a few minutes. We ordered some biscuits, sausage patties, bacon strips and well done hash browns (as we were going to fry eggs at home). Our faves were the biscuits which were pretty huge. I have never had biscuits like these - they manage to be both substantial yet delicate at the same time. full review
First of all the name is wrong. It is just Virginia Kitchen. But I don't know how to tell Yelp to change it. This is a diner classic. I've been going here for about 5 years now. Mostly Sundays for breakfast, but I've been there many other days as well. Lots of good breakfast combos. Always some specials and if you're a flavored coffee fan, the butter pecan one is great. I'm partial to the Bob's Blue Ribbon Breakfast - Corned beef hash with two eggs on top, hash browns, and full review
