My family and I came here a few months ago to celebrate my husband's birthday. Before our reservation, I reached out through the restaurant's website because I have multiple severe food allergies. To my surprise, the head chef personally called me to discuss the menu. He patiently answered all of my questions, carefully documented my allergies, and assured me he could prepare my meal safely since everything is made from scratch.

He never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing the staff. That meant so much to me because dining out with severe food allergies is often stressful, and it's easy to feel like a burden. His kindness and willingness to accommodate me made all the difference.

The Simon prepared my meal safely, and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone else in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with live jazz music that made the evening even more special.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I would absolutely come back. Thank you for making my husband's birthday such a memorable night!”

So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood, though it’s close to the toll road so easy to get to from further away.”

We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!”

“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.”

“I was able to finally try these amazing macarons I’ve heard so much about at the Creative Collective pop-up in Fairfax! They were sooooo cute and let me tell ya, delicious! 🤤 They were so cutely packaged and would make great holiday gifts and hostess presents. Absolutely already craving them again!”

“I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.”

We started with the falafel, and they were perfect—crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, easily some of the best I've had. The beef shawarma was equally impressive; the meat was tender, perfectly spiced, and served with delicious accompaniments.
What really surprised us, in the best way possible, was the Philly cheesesteak. It was authentic, loaded with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and fresh ingredients. It might sound like an unusual item for the menu, but they absolutely nailed it!
The staff were welcoming, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was great for a family dinner. Whether you're craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine or a classic American sandwich done right, this place delivers on all fronts. We will definitely be back!”

Online Ordering was fine, communication on the order status was good, the food was waiting when I arrived. (Ticketed parking area but free up to 3 hours) Packaging included plastic cutlery and plenty of napkins. The salad and the noodles we ordered were fine. We don’t have these where we live but would try it again.”

“I come here almost every day with my baby and really enjoy their hot cappuccino and latte. On a hot day, order a pistachio iced latte (25% or less sweetness)- it is really tasty. I also buy their sourdough and multigrain breads occasionally, which are great. For breakfast, I have been really enjoying the avocado salmon tartine. From pastries/sweets, I would recommend their croissants, pistachio cherry tart, krembos, walnut oatmeal cookie (if you are in a rush and don’t want to be messy, try it! It goes really well with coffee).

Service isn’t bad. Management and staff have always been friendly. They are very busy, so they prioritize speed over friendly chatter, which is OK with me. The atmosphere inside is nice and you can usually find a cosy spot to sit/work. Lots of options to sit indoor or outdoor.”

“I came around 4:30 ish and it was pretty empty. I went through the drive through and the woman on the intercom was super nice. I ordered ahead on the app and said my code. When I went up to the window she was smiling and friendly. The second window lady was also nice and told me to park at the drive thru parking because they were still making my order. I only wait for about 3 minutes and my food came out very hot which was nice. They got everything right in my order and even remembered my sauce. Ordering on the app is great. This place seems very new too which is nice. Based on other reviews maybe people went during rush hours, but the food was good to me and people were nice.”
