“Zack bar manager is professional, great .Hope to see him again soon”
“Jackson’s Mighty Fine Food & Lucky Lounge (BCI: 86) 11927 Democracy Dr, Reston, VA Step into Jackson’s and you’re stepping into a space that bridges eras - a Reston mainstay that blends classic Americana with a contemporary culinary pulse. The curved brick façade, glowing neon, terrazzo floors, and murals set a retro-modern stage that feels both familiar and fresh. The menu is as versatile as the atmosphere. The Blue Crab & Shrimp Fritters arrive golden and crisp, with a lobster-ginger sauce that balances sweet and tang. Deviled Eggs topped with pecans and sugar-cured bacon hit nostalgic notes with a twist. For mains, the Short Smoked Salmon Filet was balanced and flavorful, while the 5 Star Reserve Rib Eye stands out as the indulgent showpiece - perfectly grilled and paired with Brussels sprouts, bacon, and spiced pecans. Gluten-sensitive diners aren’t sidelined here, with Ozzie’s Brick Chicken and even flourless desserts on a dedicated menu. Save room for dessert: the Flourless Chocolate Waffle with Ice Cream was rich yet not overwhelming, and the Lemon Marshmallow Meringue Pie playful and bright. Cocktails, like the Jackson’s Mule, are well-crafted and fairly priced. Service was attentive and well-paced even in a bustling room, though weekends bring a lively (and loud) crowd. Reservations are smart for dinner; weekday lunches are easier. My only miss: the French Dip. Beautifully presented but mine arrived closer to raw than medium rare, with a lukewarm au jus. For $30, I expected more precision. That said, many online reviewers rave about it. So consider it a hit-or-miss item depending on your taste for ultra-rare beef. Whether it’s a business lunch, a date night, or a family dinner, Jackson’s delivers. A broad menu, strong service, and lively atmosphere keep it at the center of Reston dining. BCI: 86 reflects weighted and normalized ratings across multiple platforms, showing that Jackson’s consistently delivers strong experiences. “We stumbled across the lantern house today in a neighborhood that we didn’t even know existed. Boy was it a treat! The decor is stylish, feminine, and very inviting. The bartender was excellent, filled with recommendations. They had so many fancy cocktails in the menu was divine. We really enjoyed our brunch and can’t wait to return!”

“So happy to have Red’s within walking distance of my house. We recently took a group of friends there and were lucky to get the private room. Great food and service! Tried their oysters for the first time and they were really good.”
“Gregorio’s is somewhere I can always feel at home with friends and family. The food is excellent and the feeling is always welcoming.”
“Huge shoutout to Tyreke and Maya at the DC Wharf location. Both of them recommended the glazed pork belly taco and bowl. Let me just say they deserve a promotion! The pork belly was the best tasting food I’ve ever had. Holy cow thank you both of you for that recommendation. Also, an additional shoutout to Tyreke for the churro selection for us off the dessert menu. I mean this has been the best meal we have had since being in DC! Thanks again for the recommendations and hope to see you in Indiana when you open one in our town 👊🏻👊🏻”

“We took advantage of the valentines prix fixed menu & it did not disappoint. Service could be better, we have to ask to have soda refills, and the waitress forgot that we wanted the extra $10 sour drink. It worked out in the end because we were stuffed. Quality food overall.”

“I've been going to the Silver Diner in Reston for over 15 years. Food is always good, new items added to menu seasonally, staff are real folks who are easy to talk with and joke with as well. You get a sense of "family" when you are there as staff and customers interact. Servers are fun people and make your day. Today was Rubia's day and she is special. Come out and see for yourself.”
“Kimberly our server was amazing alongside with Kelvin the manger! They were attentive and kept our plates and drinks full! We came in with a group and they took care of us! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the amazing service!”
“I love the quality of food the drink where amazing I definitely recommend this place.”

“Returned again on a snow day. Quick and easy hangout. Nachos were great
Excellent fish tacos and everyone liked their dishes. Drinks were ok but weak. Very crowded and they seemed short staffed. Waited and waited but not too terrible since the live music was good!!”
““MyHome” is located in a quiet part of Reston with plenty of parking. It takes many visits to fully explore the menu, so start with your Thai favorites and go from there. Friendly staff. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood, though it’s close to the toll road so easy to get to from further away.”
“We loved our experience. Came for dinner with my husband and ordered several dishes. The chicken platter appetizer came out sizzling and delicious. We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!”
“We are BIG Monica fans. We've eaten at Kusshi three times, and Monica makes the experience so enjoyable for us. The drinks are top notch and the sushi is the best in the area without a doubt. We're big sushi snobs and Kusshi checks every box!”

“Pupatella is a great spot for delicious food! Order the cannolis. The zesty lemon flavor with the creamy ricotta and salty pistachios was to die for! I’m ordering them to get delivered to my hotel for the second day in a row. The shells are yummy as well. Great place- good people- wonderful food. ☺️♥️”
“This is the classic RTC spot. A go-to for afterschool treats every year starting second grade. The cardamom flavor rocks… There’s almost no reason to go to RTC anymore post-covid and paid parking, but Pitango has stuck around, outlasting Red Velvet, Busara, Big Bowl, Mon Ami Gabi, and even Clyde’s… once it closes I may never return. It’s criminal what Boston Properties has done to Reston Town Center, which for me was more than the center of Reston, it was the center of the world, nay, the universe. Even Pitango’s long-time neighbor The Counter has disappeared. I fear RTC’s Pitango may not be long for this world, would like to return sometime soon. Vintage photos attached”
“Pisano’s Pizza never disappoints. The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor — you can really tell they care about quality. The crust was perfectly cooked and the toppings were generous. What made the experience even better was Nelson, who took my order. He was super friendly, welcoming, and made the whole process smooth and easy. Great customer service like that makes a big difference. Definitely coming back again!”
“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.”
“I just finished an absolutely fantastic meal with my family and felt compelled to share our experience. This restaurant is a true hidden gem, delivering phenomenal food that caters to diverse tastes.
We started with the falafel, and they were perfect—crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, easily some of the best I've had. The beef shawarma was equally impressive; the meat was tender, perfectly spiced, and served with delicious accompaniments.
What really surprised us, in the best way possible, was the Philly cheesesteak. It was authentic, loaded with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and fresh ingredients. It might sound like an unusual item for the menu, but they absolutely nailed it!
The staff were welcoming, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was great for a family dinner. Whether you're craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine or a classic American sandwich done right, this place delivers on all fronts. We will definitely be back!”
“Had an amazing dinner and really fun experience. Really appreciate our server Tatiana, she kept the mood fun and upbeat and did a great job! Highly recommend”
“Highly recommend the Heirloom Burger for any burger-lovers. Delicious.”

“I never thought I'd be leaving a rave review for granola but here goes: this stuff is insanely good. For Christmas, we received a bag of the original granola, and some granola butter and tbh I forgot all about it because, well, it's granola. But I rediscovered it while cleaning up from Christmas like a week later, and thought I'd give it a try. I will ABSOLUTELY be ordering more of this when it is gone, which will be very very soon. I'm just eating it right out of the bag. Can't stop. It's my new favorite snack.”
“I'd been craving takoyaki for days, and suddenly decided to drive over late at night. Surprisingly, even though it was close to closing time, they still served me. The waitress, Emily, recommended some dishes, and we ordered them right away. She wasn't just beautiful and kind-hearted, she was practically a buddy! Apparently, she's only there on Fridays and weekends. There were only her and one other guy working at the front; everyone else was chatting. Everything was great, and she even recommended two drinks – such good value! She was so friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a worthwhile trip, and I'll definitely come back!”
“John, the owner of Baskin-Robbins, goes above and beyond. When they were out of the flavor we requested for our holiday ice cream cake, he put in so much effort to contacting us, making a custom flavor for us, and making sure we were able to get our order in time for the holiday, even with special hours. The communication was excellent, and all of the ice cream and cakes on display looked so good!”

“I have eaten here dozens of times including my birthday this year. The food and service have consistently been incredible! My family loves the atmosphere and friendly staff, and even my kiddos ask to stop by for shrimp pops. Definitely recommend Ariake!”

“I will say I walked in and it was like I was greeted like a part of the establishment, I’ve never been here before and asked the staff respectful what do we do! Joyfully “David” and “Sullay” guided me through the whole experience! Such great staff and great food! 5⭐️ All the way!! Check it out staff is great! “ key to all (help with a tip jar!””
“I love that Starbucks there! I was a student from Fusion academy. I would walk there almost everyday to get venti size refreshers! The employees were friendly! And I would feel very satisfied every time I go there greeting the employees makes me happy.
My honest reveiw:
Food is good I tried the breakfast sandwich and I am not mad it’s not bad at all.
Service: It’s fast sometimes very fast
Atmosphere: Had music playing for relax and sounds of making coffee.
Needs improvement: The floors are dirty but not very dirty it’s just some dust or tiny particles of food but not much but still happy about it.”
“Free refills when you hang out :) Everyone is kind and thoughtful even when they are slammed. The atmosphere is great. Music is at a reasonable level to work on my laptop and have conversations. It's busy but no fights for seating. Temperature is always nice even when it's not outside. Lastly, the Pikes Place was on POINT today *chefs kiss*.”
“It is my second time here and I'm very happy with the people that work behind the counter and hurt in the kitchen it's very nice and they've been very clean and enjoyed it and I'm gonna try it again as soon as I decide to have some food in subway I recommended to everybody to use this place”
“Double cabernet burger is the best!!!! Cabernet smothered patties, white cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, worcestershire mayo, tomato, potato bun with crispy fingerling potatos on the side. #foodbuster #burgerkingthings #doyoubelieve I DO!!!!!”
“Amazing food and service. Our server was very attentive and friendly. All the staff were very professional. I loved their house bread and butter, and their caesar salad is the best I’ve ever had.”
“Went last night for the first time with my girlfriend. Tried some things on the menu that I really enjoyed , thanks to Rodrigo the bartender for the great wine recommendations. I really loved that pino noir !”
“Great customer service! When I arrived, someone else had actually mistakenly picked up my to-go order. When I told the manager, they fast-tracked me a brand new one in 5 mins. thank you!”
“Best place to hang out at Lake Anne, hands down. Great beer, super cozy atmosphere, nice view of the lake. With one of those choice pretzels and a pint I could sit here all day alone or with friends happy as a clam in mud.”

“So delicious! I am on the road most of the time as a real estate agent and always try to find new spots to eat at. The food is so flavorful, the staff is awesome, and I will be back next time I am selling homes in the area!”

“I recommend this place for it's food choices, alternative non-alcohol yummy adult type drinks, awesome chefs and food service staff (everyone here was super nice and totally hospitable, especially Chris at the bar where I sat to eat), and last bit not least -the cleanliness and open design hides nothing. You can see the kitchen prep and the ambiance is lovely... bright and clean with clean HVAC! I love this place. My dinner was delicious and the black tea had lavender... delightful!”

“Tatte Bakery in Reston offers a beautiful space and delicious food—everything from the pastries to the coffee is thoughtfully made and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. That said, the service could be more attentive and efficient, and cleanliness (especially around tables and restrooms) could use some improvement. Still, the quality of the food and overall vibe make it worth a visit.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Tous Les Jours! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is excellent, and all the employees are very friendly and helpful. Especially supervisor Bao, Nghi and Thanh! The food is really good, and everything in the aisle is always well stocked and fresh. Definitely a great place to visit for tasty treats 😋”
“Veloce is a hidden gem that only Reston locals are mostly aware about. Since I found out about this place I've been looking forward to my lunch hours, every day tasting something new on their rich and delicious menu. Always fresh ingredients, creative salads and sandwiches, fast and hospitable service, and super cozy ambience. Thumbs up!”
“Alegrias Bakery and Pupuseria doesn’t just serve comfort food—it serves real, everyday food made with care. You can taste the quality in every bite. Nothing feels rushed, and it doesn’t feel like they cut corners or cheap out on ingredients like a lot of places do. It honestly feels like food coming straight out of a home kitchen. Authentic, homemade, and made with intention.”
“This is a pretty average Panera, similar to most other locations. The food quality is decent and consistent, though I do feel it’s a bit overpriced for what you get.
Employees are generally okay to good—nothing exceptional, but no major issues either. Location is almost brand new, but parking is definitely a downside. Street parking is paid (24 hours), and while there’s an adjacent garage, I didn’t notice any dedicated parking for Panera—most spots seem reserved. Overall, not very convenient, especially for a suburban area where easier parking is usually expected.”
“I came around 4:30 ish and it was pretty empty. I went through the drive through and the woman on the intercom was super nice. I ordered ahead on the app and said my code. When I went up to the window she was smiling and friendly. The second window lady was also nice and told me to park at the drive thru parking because they were still making my order. I only wait for about 3 minutes and my food came out very hot which was nice. They got everything right in my order and even remembered my sauce. Ordering on the app is great. This place seems very new too which is nice. Based on other reviews maybe people went during rush hours, but the food was good to me and people were nice.”
