“I'd been craving takoyaki for days, and suddenly decided to drive over late at night. Surprisingly, even though it was close to closing time, they still served me. The waitress, Emily, recommended some dishes, and we ordered them right away. She wasn't just beautiful and kind-hearted, she was practically a buddy! Apparently, she's only there on Fridays and weekends. There were only her and one other guy working at the front; everyone else was chatting. Everything was great, and she even recommended two drinks – such good value! She was so friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a worthwhile trip, and I'll definitely come back!“

We love the Fairfax location much more, though. They have fountain drinks, more food options, and you can eat from a big bowl when dining in instead of a takeout container. They have better music, and there isn’t an alarm bell going off anytime an online order comes in.“

“5 stars every time. The food is always so good, and the quality is consistently amazing. My favorites are the chicken katsu and cheese katsu — both are so flavorful and satisfying. What makes the experience even better is the service. Everyone is always so kind, welcoming, and attentive, which really makes the restaurant feel comfortable and enjoyable to visit. “Food was great for the value, we are sushi fans so we really enjoyed the varieties, fish was fresh, slices of scallops were a bit thin but still sweet, although did taste a little bit of fishiness.. sweet shrimp was not big but amazingly sweet, tuna belly ( Toro) was so good and oily like the way it's supposed to. Ikura ( salmon caviar) second to none, a la carte sushi places doesn't even have this quality. there are 10 sushi chef there you're not going to get the same thing all the time but I don't have an issue with that.. generally it's pretty standard things with sauce may tastes a bit different because each chef may put on different amount.. we eat sushi everywhere even in major cities like California, Chicago, Dallas and New York, we enjoy ayce sushi, Bottom line is $35 is a great value for what they offer.“

I’ve lived in nyc and eaten lots of good expensive sushi there, and I just came back from Japan but this place actually stands out to me out of all the places I’ve eaten
I’m coming during the lunch weekday special it was ~25$ w tax the cuts of fish are SO thick and it has a good mix of fish
The fish is quite good quality too“

“The reviews for this place were so good that I got the salmon poke bowl. I usually don't like poke bowels, but I trust the people's reviews. They gave me the meal in less than 10m, I wanna say closer to 5m. The service was friendly and kind. This was around 3pm, so while everything was quiet. I was impressed they got my meal out so fast, 3pm is generally a lull-in-the-day for restaurants.

I inhaled everything. The miso on the side, and every speck of rice given to me (pictured). Do you know how good food has to be to eat every grain of rice with chopsticks? The sauce was so good, I thought about having a piece of bread to swipe against the bottom to really clean out the bowl. I had a religious experience inhaling everything. The salmon melted in my mouth, the sauce was excellent. They added just enough spice to contribute to the sauce flavor.

Anyways the poke bowl had some raw onions, zucchini(?), and avocado. I wish there was more rice, but that's just particular to me, most people will find the rice/meat ratio perfect. I ate somewhat awkwardly next to the owners/workers in the food court, but I hope it was gratifying for them to see me eat everything so fast.

Take this review with a grain of salt, as I was starving at the time, but 10/10 would come again. This restaurant is an unexpected gem inside of lotte.“

“I’ve found a new favorite Japanese restaurant! Real Japanese food made with actual Japanese ingredients, not the same as the stuff you find in mall food courts or at that [FAST]way chain joint. I ordered the Chicken and Steak Hibachi and the Chicken Yakisoba, and they were both delicious! Portions aren’t generous though, but healthy; you won’t feel overstuffed after eating.“

“I went here with my sisters and found the place empty. I was confused as to why, as I later found the food to be great! I had ordered the halal chicken ramen and added spice. It was warm, yummy and the chicken was seasoned amazingly. I ordered the edamame, and for 6.50 I expected a little more than what I got. I enjoyed the self serve water dispenser. I am giving a 4 - star review because my sister had ordered separately (she got the same thing) and her broth was very bland. As someone who does not have halal options near them, this was great!“

The food was pretty good overall, especially for an all you can eat spot, and we ended up trying the hibachi too, which honestly was not bad at all. For the price, it felt like a solid deal with plenty of options and a good experience even with how busy it was. “This spot is a family favorite of my husband and his family. I've been here about 10-15 times now and each time we leave happy, well fed and normally with a little snack/to go box with our leftovers. The fried rice is delicious, they cook everything in front of you (of course) and I'm always satisfied. I will say the prices have increased and the meat quality isn't amazing but it's always a good meal.“
