“Sushi without an overabundance of rice. Exceptional fresh fish and unique rolls that were delicious. The deepest color tuna I've seen in a long time. Prices a little on the high side, but the quality justified the expense. Highly recommended (Ashburn location).... I would expect the others to be on par.“
“Been years since we visited Sakura Grill in Ashburn due to Covid. We picked a bitterly cold night to visit thinking less people but when we arrived early evening jammed packed with customers and every table was packed. My wife's Birthday. We ordered lobster and chicken; chicken and shrimp; and lobster and steak. Appetizers now pretty much fixed except type of rice and no chicken livers (my favorite). Has 2 Kirins. Chefs as usual put on a show and we all ate until we could not anymore. No longer offer bamboo shoots ate the end. Good service and sis a birthday sing-a-long for my wife. So packed hopefully everyone had vaccines. May hold off for another visit.“
“Brought our 6 year old grandson here for his first time. Day before Valentine's Day and had the whole place to ourselves. Sushi and hibachi food was all very good and the chef was entertaining for our grandson (typical routine but still very good and engaging). The restaurant is clean especially compared to other hibachi type restaurants we have been to. Prices were as expected. We will definitely come back again“
“Really cute Japanese restaurant! There's mostly Japanese fair (hibachi, bento, sushi, etc.) But there are a couple other Asian favorites (like sesame chicken). Parking is a little confusing, but the parking garage seems to always have spaces!“
“This place is excellent! I had been meaning to come for over a year and yesterday it finally happened! My mate and I sat at the bar before the dinner rush started, so it was cool having the place to ourselves for a bit. The Whitefish, Yellowtail, and Burdock were delicious, the Sapporos were nice and cold, and the staff were all very professional and friendly!Definitely recommend“
“Love this little spot, it's around the corner from our office so we often go for lunch. I don't eat seafood, but my friends adore the sushi -- I used to live in Japan though, so even though I don't eat seafood, I love to go here for the delicious Tempura, Udon, Curry, and Katsu -- delicious and has a cozy environment with friendly staff! Oh and their house salad as the most delicious carrot ginger dressing!“
“I loved this place. It’s definitely a hidden gem located in a strip mall. Fish was fresh, and the types of fish you get were way better than other places that charge about the same. They were on par with many other omakase places around here that cost 3 times as much, especially given the price tag.“
“We gave Mari Sushi Bar and Lounge in Herndon a try for my husband’s birthday, and it is now my favorite sushi spot! Everything was incredible-fresh, flavorful, and filling. Hands down the best dynamite roll I’ve had, and even the fish I usually pass over were so good I kept going back to them. The sauces complemented the fish perfectly, I highly recommend giving them a try.“
“I recently took my mom to a restaurant for ramen, and we both liked it. The broth had a good balance of flavors and wasn't too salty. We ordered some other dishes to try, and they were all good. The restaurant's interior was surprisingly lovely, which we couldn't see from outside. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch.“
“My dad and I are regulars here and for good reason. We’re both very picky when it comes to sushi and there is no other sushi restaurant in the DMV that compares to this gem. The level of freshness and attention to detail is really great. The head sushi chef, Sam, is truly an amazing talent and is an absolute pleasure to talk to. If you’re a snob when it come to fresh, quality sushi, then this is the place for you!“
“Great local sushi place with many options. The tempura was fantastic and the specialty rolls were very tasty! Amazing service and sake selection, perfect for a date night. If sushi is not your thing, they also have ramen, yakisoba, and Korean dishes. Highly “
“We were treated exceptionally well as soon as we entered the building. The kindness of our waitress went far beyond a casual dining service. The effort she put into making our experience feel comfortable and welcoming was well deserving of my time and pleasure. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed us tonight.?“
“We love our new sushi place. We enjoyed our valentine dinner at Samaria Sushi, our favorite place. It is best sushi place in town. Service was amazing and food was great and atmosphere was perfect. Everything was perfect!!! I totally recommend Samaria Sushi especially tuna hand roll. Tuna was fresh, freshly caught tuna.“
“Had dinner here with a friend recently and the sushi was incredible! Beautiful display, great flavor, and super friendly staff. The background music kept cutting in and out, but I don’t think that’s their fault. Can’t wait to come back again!“
“I found House of Poolesville while looking for a bar to grab a drink and get some food and watch a few games with a friend. The restaurant has a few nice gardens on the grounds and the restaurant has a bar area and a sit down dining area. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. I ordered a few drinks and some sushi of the menu and my friend had two Asian dishes. While looking at some of the plants outside, a lady at the restaurant asked if we wanted to take some flowers home, which I thought was very nice. The food, drinks, and service were very good and I will stop in if I find myself in Poolesville again“
“I was thinking about sushi and remembered Red Bar Sushi in Leesburg. Ordered the MGM roll which was fresh and tasty, the fish is fresh and plentiful. I ordered a few nigiri pieces. The yellowtail and mackerel were really fresh and nice sized pieces. I think the specialty rolls are good size. The service is excellent and really helpful. I am going back next week!“
“The sushi is fresh and the kitchen follows food allergy restrictions without charging you for omitting ingredients. Food was really good! I did not arrive during a busy period; so, I received my order very quickly. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly! Small place but cozy.“
“I go to this place pretty often, and always have great sushi! I like to get the selection of sashimi, but everything I've had is good, and always quickly prepared for pickup. Definitely recommend this small place, for pickup or dine-in“
“They had the biggest and crispest Korean fried wings I've had in VA. Service was amazing, food is a bit pricey, but for the quality you'll see that it's worth every penny. Definitely recommend this place to all looking for good “
“I order here all the time because it’s delicious. The roll in the photo is the 2011 roll but I’d also recommend the fantasy roll to anyone interested because it comes with this sauce that is to die for. The service is great. They know me and my orders so it feels like home. The people are wonderful and always have been. There’s plenty of parking. And I used to dine in here too, cozy atmosphere.“
“I've been here only once and enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere of the restaurant. The food is fun to order with all the options to choose from. It's a small place with limited seating, but I was able to find seating during my visit. PokeHub is located across the street from Reston Town Square park, where community events are held throughout the year and where you can spend time at any time during the year. In fact, this is how I found out about PokeHub: I was volunteering at the temporarily relocated Reston Multicultural Festival and while on a break, I grabbed lunch inside here. Great find!Parking: This place is located at Reston Town Center. For the garages, parking is free at Reston Town Center for your first hour, after 5p on weekdays, and free on weekends. For street parking, it's free on Sundays. All other times, you must pay for parking using the RTC app.“
“The hibachi is fantastic and fun and the sushi is absolutely delicious! plus I would highly recommend asking for miso soup because it is amazing! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is just great! It is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to!“
“The food at Shiro Sushi is top-notch. It's always amazing and the yum yum sauce is super good. The wait staff is generally younger and sometimes bring out the food in the wrong order but they are always very attentive and quick to fix any issues. It's hit or miss on how busy it is. Last visit was pretty empty but I've been other nights where we waited for a table. They have lots of sushi with specialty rolls and usually a there is usually something special listed up on the board. It was the Christmas roll my last visit. The Hibachi is always great and comes with a tofu soup and salad. We also really enjoy the calamari tempura appetizer.“
“Dietary restrictions: All ingredients on rolls, inside and out, are listed clearly. There aren't any symbols to know what to avoidKid-friendliness: I've seen a lot of children at this place. If your kids are usually chill eating out then it is fineWheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs here. Ramp to come in, plenty of space in the walkways and tables“
“Wow. Generous portions, affordable, bento box was still piping hot, and all very tasty. Bento house knocked it out of the park, definitely ordering again. These guys know what’s up.I had already started munchin before I took the photo, there’s even more than what you see here!“
“My family and I have been coming here for years and the service and food have always been phenomenal! The servers even took it upon themselves to remember our faces and orders. The fish is always fresh and the staff always make us feel at home.“
