“Great Sushi and Best Ramen anywhere around Ashburn area. Prices slightly above what you'd call average but food makes up for it. Friendly waiting staff and not a long wait for food to arrive and no wait for table. Hidden gem. Clean and inviting atmosphere but it's not the fine dining romantic sort of atmosphere. If it's all about the food then go here if you're in the mood for great Sushi and Ramen in the south Ashburn/ South Riding/ Aldie area.“

“I was craving Japanese curry and this is where I ended up. It's located inside the Lotte Asian supermarket, a food court. Look for table area and you will find a variety of small eateries, of which Hikari is one of. I got the Pork Katsu curry (there is also a chicken option instead of the pork). I enjoyed the meal, it was tasty and generous portion. The breaded fried pork tasted fresh and made to order. Even the simple small miso soup that came with it was tasty. I am usually not a fan of miso soup but this one tasted perfect. I will go there again.“

“I'd been craving takoyaki for days, and suddenly decided to drive over late at night. Surprisingly, even though it was close to closing time, they still served me. The waitress, Emily, recommended some dishes, and we ordered them right away. She wasn't just beautiful and kind-hearted, she was practically a buddy! Apparently, she's only there on Fridays and weekends. There were only her and one other guy working at the front; everyone else was chatting. Everything was great, and she even recommended two drinks – such good value! She was so friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a worthwhile trip, and I'll definitely come back!“

“Tried Quickway Japanese Hibachi in Glen Burnie for the 1st time tonight. Food was cheap but they got my order wrong. 😢 I wanted to try the shrimp hibachi but they gave both my husband and I chicken. We got it with the fried rice, noodles, and veggies with lots of yum yum sauce. Sides of chicken dumplings and chicken egg rolls. I still enjoyed mine. My husband said that his was bland and he was not a fan. Make sure you check the box if you order pickup from them like I did! “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi On at Fair Oaks Mall, and it remains one of the best all-you-can-eat values in the area. While the dinner cost for an adult is $42 plus tax, the sheer variety and quality make it worth every penny.
The sushi selection is absolutely massive. Unlike many buffets where quality can be hit-or-miss, everything here tasted incredibly fresh. From classic spicy tuna to elaborate specialty rolls and fresh nigiri, the chefs are constantly replenishing the trays so your favorites are always available. Beyond the raw fish, there is a surprisingly good selection of other food including Korean BBQ galbi, crispy tempura, and snow crab legs. I was also very impressed by the good desserts; the made-to-order crepe station is a total game-changer and a perfect way to end the meal.
The service was exceptional. Despite being quite busy, the staff remained professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. They were quick to clear away empty plates and kept our drinks full throughout the night. Just a heads-up for those visiting on the weekends: this place is popular for a reason, so be prepared for a wait line of about 30–45 minutes.
