I did the AYCE option and I did just that..spicy garlic edamame was good, TNT roll delicious, Butter Garlic shrimp was my absolute favorite and ordered 2 helpings. I would have eaten more but belly said stop. I was a Sushi Masa fan before eating here, but now? I have a new place.
Atmosphere was good and not as loud as Sushi Masa, plus I was at my table after arriving within 5 minutes. Service was good, only complaint is to hope the server slows down just a tad to wait until I finish my order. But overall she was nice and did well. A++...“

“This was my first time here at hotspot and I had the best waiter ever who was really nice and caring and was very helpful to me in my service. I would definitely recommend this to everyone i know because hotspot employees have gone above and beyond. They also serve great food and sauces, one of the best quality hot pot foods i have had. “Went for the first time with me and my mom. We loved it here the moment we walked in. We ordered the shrimp deluxe bento box and the steak deluxe bento box. It was so amazing and the steak practically melting in your mouth. The staff was really nice and this place was a nice place to eat at, definitely coming back in the future when we’re in the area“

“My friend David Nguyen recommended me this sushi spot in Fairfax and I have to say- I can't believe I didn't come here sooner. The service is fantastic and sushi isn't good- it's phenomenal! We ordered the 208 pieces for 6 of us and we weren't too hungry going into but that sushi boat was devoured in less than 10 mins. “Came here for dinner with friends and everything from food to service was impeccable! The portion sizes are huge, to the extent I couldn’t finish the sando that I ordered. My friends ate half of their katsu. The breading on the meats were super flaky and seasoned well, not dry or tasteless as seems defacto for many katsu preparations. We also got curry on the side, which was well curated with chunks of meat and veggies. I was honestly so surprised because it tasted like the curry specialty hotspots in the northeast where I moved from. Sam was our waiter and checked in on us multiple times throughout our meal. He was super kind, personable, and just a fun dude that made our dinner experience better. An older gentleman, who I had the impression was the owner or manager, stopped by to check in as well.

Overall, a great place for top tier katsu. The difference in ambience during the day and evening also makes it a great choice for casual dining, date nights, and drinks with friends. Highly recommend!“

The steam shumai left a bit more to be desired imo.
Spicy mango roll is one of my fav rolls- so sweet! Love the seaweed salad too.

“My husband and I love Lil' Bowl. Tonight I decided to surprise my husband with a bento bowl which he has never had. They were so good. There was so much food, we had leftovers for tomorrow. Yum! I had the Pad Thai...very good. My husband had the chicken fried rice, and we both really enjoyed our Bento Boxes. We also really enjoyed the mango sticky rice for our dessert. If you like Thai and Japanese cuisine, you have to try Lil' Bowl. We highly recommend it.“

“Walking into the Lotte food court, I could immediately smell the katsu cooking at Hikari Don Katsu--and it was impossible not to follow the scent. I'm a huge fan of both katsu and curry, so after hearing this spot does both well, I had to give it a try.

The katsu tasted comforting and homemade, like someone put real care into every bite. It was crispy, juicy, and especially good with the sauce, which had a subtle sweetness and buttery richness without being too heavy.

The curry leaned more Korean-style than Japanese-style to me, but honestly, it was so good. It had a nice spicy kick, lots of flavor, and was filling enough that I could happily eat a whole bowl of the curry by itself.
Overall, I was really impressed with Hikari Don Katsu. Great katsu, great curry, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to when I'm craving something warm and satisfying.“

“My girlfriend and I went here for our first time for our 3 year anniversary. It was a very nice and cute place and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was excellent, we both enjoyed what we got and kept talking about how good it was. The best part of our whole meal was our server Jaden. Also you MUST try the Tokyo Shrimp here it is FANTASTIC!! The filet mignon melts in your mouth love the salmon lobster and scallops too. Their ginger sauce, yum yum sauce, AND salad dressing are all on point. It’s hard to find a place that does everything as well as Samurai. We drive from Ashburn just to come here for hibachi.“

I've been here about 10-15 times now and each time we leave happy, well fed and normally with a little snack/to go box with our leftovers. We got it with the fried rice, noodles, and veggies with lots of yum yum sauce. Sides of chicken dumplings and chicken egg rolls. I still enjoyed mine.
