“My friend David Nguyen recommended me this sushi spot in Fairfax and I have to say- I can't believe I didn't come here sooner. The service is fantastic and sushi isn't good- it's phenomenal! We ordered the 208 pieces for 6 of us and we weren't too hungry going into but that sushi boat was devoured in less than 10 mins. He asked me is it my first time here? So Yes! Then he started recommending all of those signature dishes which I was gonna ask him since the first place but he did a very good job beginning with that! Plus he was genuinely kindhearted and care for his guests. The chef(I guess)also delivered food by himself with A5 Wagyu and other stuffs for you! The music also made it a lot more enjoyable! “Excellent sushi restaurant! We were in Vienna and craving sushi and found this gem. We were seated right away, greeted with a smile and had a lovely evening. We started off with the edamame and miso soup and salad. We were BLOWN away with how good everything was right off the bat! The house salad had a onion sauce on the top that was so good! Best house salad I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. Then we both had rolls that were amazing! Joanne was our waitress and she was so kind and efficient. She even provided us with recommendations and a great description of some of the dishes I asked about. We will definitely be back next time we are in Vienna! Thank you so much!“

“We love coming here, great ambiance and people. David the manager was very accommodating and our chef - Ryan - did an amazing job tonight. We love that they give noodles and fried rice! Also you MUST try the Tokyo Shrimp here it is FANTASTIC!! The filet mignon melts in your mouth love the salmon lobster and scallops too. Their ginger sauce, yum yum sauce, AND salad dressing are all on point. It’s hard to find a place that does everything as well as Samurai. We drive from Ashburn just to come here for hibachi.“

“This is a fast food alternative that we found very satisfying. There are not a lot of choices, but they are what they say they are: teriyaki and sushi. We liked everything we got. The Combo seems to be the best buy in the long run, but everything was fresh and tasty. We will be back now that we have found this alternative.“

I regularly go for the chicken yaki soba or the beef teriyaki, both beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and consistently spot on. Add gyoza as a starter and you’re winning at life. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive — the kind of place where you feel remembered, not processed. Every time I’m back in Fairfax County, this is the place we go.
