“The sushi rolls are mid-level, but considering the options in Gainesville, probably the best local place I’ve had yet. The staff are kind, they did forget parts of our order but did eventually get it out to us. The fish is good grade fish, tastes fresh, no hint of “fishy-ness”. The simple rolls had an extremely thin layer of rice to my surprise; patchily showing the seaweed underneath. However the specialty rolls were delicious, so definitely order those.“
“Rice was a tad undercooked as it had a bit of a bit to it, meaning it had a crunch. Not good for rice. Server forgot my daughter's appetizer and dessert, so not good. It was super late, near closing, so I would do a 3.5 but it's not an option. Will surely go back.“
“This is my first time trying Wasabiko and already love it! Definitely coming back to try other options on the menu! I ordered "Boss Roll" and it was delicious! It has a light smoke taste due to the cooked top and a slight spiciness at the end of everybite. AMAZING!“
“Always a solid experience at this place. I prefer the special rolls and off menu items some rolls have changed over the years but if you request the roll by name they will make it. Customer service is very efficient and keep the food moving. Highly recommend this place, it is a bit pricey but well worth the money.“
“I was in town trying to find some sort of Asian cuisine and I stumbled upon this place. Clean and relaxed environment. Good service and friendly. I ordered the beef and broccoli lunch special with a salad and substituted the rice with lo mein. Let me tell you that this is the best beef and broccoli I've ever had. Salad was good and lo mein was great. Overall a great place to eat.“
“The service from a kind staff was fast and wonderful food to go.Recommended to try everything!Perfectly packaged and i was unable to eat all of it!Can't wait to return!Parking: Get there early. No wait, no parking issues.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of booths and lots of clean open space.“
“This is our go to place for Asian food when we don't feel like cooking. For the past several years we've ordered takeout from this restaurant. The food is always prepared and ready at pickup time, and everything is fresh tasting. The portions are large and reasonably priced. We usually make several meals out of the same order. Try Asian Garden the next time you get the urge first takeout. You won't be disappointed.“
“Excellent sushi- the best or one of the best places I've tried! Our favorite rolls are the Funky Roll, Candy Cane Roll, and Pacific Roll. They are so delicious!Your order also comes with complimentary soup and salad. These are also yummy- especially the salad! The staff is nice. The ambiance is nice. It was quiet both times we went- not much people. The food does take awhile to get to your table. Expect 30 minutes to an hour or so. But it is worth the wait!“
“LOOOOVE this hibachi. it never misses. the miso soup? amazing. the steak? amazing. the fried rice? amazing. i only come here like once a year because $$$, but i so look forward to it every time. and it's cute when it's your bday because they sing and give you a balloon hat thing.“
“The people working in this place are probably some of the nicest people I have come across. I accidentally ordered the deep fried noodles and they hooked me up with alternatives at no charge. The food ended up being delicious and in large portions. Usually, my experience with Chinese food places is usually one where I tend to get very little of everything and pay a lot for it. Not this place. They give bigger portions of everything and for the same price. I honestly think the food is better too. I'm happy I found this gem.“
“The food at Shiro Sushi is top-notch. It's always amazing and the yum yum sauce is super good. The wait staff is generally younger and sometimes bring out the food in the wrong order but they are always very attentive and quick to fix any issues. It's hit or miss on how busy it is. Last visit was pretty empty but I've been other nights where we waited for a table. They have lots of sushi with specialty rolls and usually a there is usually something special listed up on the board. It was the Christmas roll my last visit. The Hibachi is always great and comes with a tofu soup and salad. We also really enjoy the calamari tempura appetizer.“
“Always a great experience! The food was delicious and the chef put on an amazing show while cooking. The scallops were cooked perfectly and so delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a balloon hat and cake for my daughter after dinner!“
