“I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.“

“Hadn’t been to Tatte in a while, and the thing that stood out most this visit was the service. Most cafes these days call out your number and expect you to grab your own order, then bus your own table too. Tatte actually brings the food to you and clears your dishes. For a cafe, that’s rare, and it makes leaving a tip feel earned rather than expected. That difference alone brings me back.

It’s busy, as it always is. Street parking is tough, so plan on the garage or another paid option nearby.

The vibe is on the louder side, a real mix of people working, friends catching up, and families stopping in for a quick snack. Not a quiet-corner spot, but that energy is part of the appeal.“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. On top of his prompt communication, he uses truly high-quality ingredients—the flavor was amazing. “I have been going to Best Buns for over 15 years. The bakery products are consistently wonderful across all the locations, and their service is amazing. They just proved it to me again today! One of the staff, well-trained in customer service and whose name unfortunately I did not catch, brought to a manager’s attention that this is the second time a mistake has been made on my online order. The manager, Zach, apologized but also gave me a very generous credit. Best Buns is opening a new location in Falls Church, and I’m very excited that now it will be even closer to home. Keep up the great customer service. It’s a rare pleasure these days.“

“I did not realize I hadn't put this in earlier so I apologize for this very late review. The experience with Kalyani from start to finish was amazing. I wanted some things I couldn't see on the order form online and she was so very accommodating, gracious and so quick to respond. I ordered 8 mini cheesecakes (Nutella, lavender, blueberry, saffron, red velvet and plain) and a 9" chocolate cheesecake with chocolate ganache. Everything was so beautifully presented...one of those moments where you eat first with your eyes in anticipation because you almost don't want to cut into it. They all were fantastic...tasting true to their flavors and the ingredients were so incredibly fresh with just the right amount of balance of spice, sweet and slight tang. I'm sensitive to ingredients and I had no reactions so I knew hers were top quality. As this was for a special occasion with a friend coming into town, it really made her visit extra special. I would definitely recommend her cheesecake to anyone who loves quality cheesecake and wonderful customer service. You can feel the love and passion she puts into everything she touches with her business. Hoping more people discover just how talented she is.“

“Cosmo One is hands down one of the best spots in the DMV for beef shawarma, absolutely unmatched! I drove over 30 miles just to try it and it was well worth the trip. “I wanted to share an observation about my purchase this morning. When I paid, the total came to $12, which seemed a little strange to me, so I decided to check the receipt.

When I looked it over, I noticed that I had been charged $3 for a cheese roll, which I never purchased. The item I actually bought cost $1.65.

I never had this kind of issue with the previous management, so I thought it was important to bring it to your attention. I’m not saying this with any bad intentions, but rather to encourage everyone to be more careful and double-check the items being entered into the register before charging customers.

Likewise, as customers, it’s important to ask for our receipts and review them before leaving the establishment to make sure everything is correct.“
