Every meal, appetizer, and desert was delicious. we had the lamb shank meal, the New York Sirloin entree, Moussaka, Imam Baildi, lamb gyros, Greek salad, homemade potato chips (best ever), pita and hummus sampler, and more. Deserts were the lemon cake, apricot baklava, sour cherry baklava. Yeah we overdid it on our order, but we enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious Greek food that made you think it was from a top 10 upscale downtown restaurant. “This place is a neighborhood classic. They keep the prices low (by Arlington standards) and the decor is awesome "mom's kitchen throwback". May it never, never change. I don't love everything they make, but since they make about 87,000 different things, you can find something. Their emphasis is old style German baking with Christian and Jewish calendar seasonal flourishes. This is, for instance, the first place I ever had a "hot cross bun"-- like in the children's poems. (They had them for Easter). And they have a great sandwich bar where I always get egg salad. The quiches are good too. They have coffee and real German sausages that look delicious too. And a nice seating area in front of a huge window. There's always room. So basically, you could spend all day here eating, drinking coffee, reading, looking out the window, and planning your next meal. That would be a great day. (PS: parking is annoying but do-able)“

“Manoa's bingsoo is the only one I like to get in NOVA. Their ice is shaved so finely it looks like coconut shavings and they never melt even in the heat of the summer. I love all the toppings they include (mochi, corn flakes, flavored condensed milk, and ice cream). I know before they used to layer the toppings with the ice, but I still think that there's a good enough amount. They have so many bakery items inside and I like their outdoor seating as well. I've ordered some food too and it seems like they make everything to order which I appreciate. It's a nice place to go study, meet with friends, or go to for dessert after some KBBQ.“

The place looked pretty busy for a Friday mid-morning. I may come here again to try their other selection besides the pastries.“

It's a very cute café with a small amount of indoor and outdoor seating.They have a pretty impressive assortment of baked goods here. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of labeling all food offerings on display with descriptions so that you can try something new! I have to come back and try the Nutella croissant, but the Kouign Amann was perfect! I only wish they had asked if I wanted it to be warmed up. I also tried the sunny side up Crogel and it was very good, although the bacon to everything else ratio was off (too much tomato, generous amount of Mayo, and a nice size egg. But not enough bacon!). I loved the croissant-bagel hybrid concept itself. Coffee was unremarkable but still very solid. I had a caramel macchiato. I will definitely make this place a regular stop for my morning snack before a hike!“

All together, it was about $20 which was a bargain for the quantity and quality. Our waitress was super sweet and the atmosphere is great. I will be coming back. “honestly a hidden gem in good fortune market in eden centre! I saw this recommended amongst the Chinese community and had to try it out. They sell Portuguese and Hong Kong styled egg tarts, one for $2. It doesn't show in the photo but the egg tarts were huge, larger than the normal ones I get from bakeries and also cheaper. the lady is very helpful if it is your first time there, and will explain to you if a bread contains fillings or what type of filling.“

I ended up getting a Cronut $3.50, a glazed donut $1.85, 3 Cinnamon buns $2.50 per bun, and a carrot cake slice $8. The Cronut is a croissant donut and it was definitely my favorite item I got: airy and great texture & taste. I would definitely come back just for this item. The glazed donut was decent but nothing special. The cinnamon buns were what I was most hype for but it ended up being underwhelming: the bread wasn't moist and it had more of a dry/stale taste. The carrot cake slice was surprisingly better than I expected and was pretty good BUT $8 for a single slice is pretty expensive. Overall, my experience was great: amazing customer service with a wide variety of delicious baked goods. I would definitely recommend and return to this bakery.“

“As a New Yorker pretzels are a street thing...never liked them, it only took one bite for me to know that they were not my thing 25+ years later I came across this amazing place and with no doubt I had a cinnamon sugar pretzel and ate it before I left their Saturday stand in front of their kitchen (they don't have a store front follow instructions on their website on how to order and getting there) so far everyone I been in contact with are very knowledgeable of their products and are super friendly. “I had tons of gelato when I traveled to Italy with one of our favorite spots being Venchi. Since coming back, we've tried other gelato places but none have been anything like what we had there. Imagine how giddy I was to find out that the same Venchi was located in the States and close to my house!! We promptly tried the stracciatella ( my daughter's favorite) and it immediately took us back. It was rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and delicious just like I remembered. We will definitely be back!“
