“They have pretty good selection of gelato hair. The pistachio gelato is pretty good and a dark chocolate vegan option is great for those who are dairy free. There's quite a large selection of chocolates here and some are plant-based as well. The chocolate is pretty good from Venchi. You can order a lot more online as well. “The signature crepe cake was quite good, one of the best I've had. Very nice texture, perfect amount of sweetness for me (not overly sweet). I expect the price here to be higher due to its location in Tyson's galleria and the crepe cakes being more labor intensive, but I still thought the $11.50 price was too high for the portion size. Recommend if you are already in the mall and don't mind the higher price. Would probably pass otherwise.“

The service was excellent, staff was so friendly and got my coffee pretty quickly. I also love the ambiance & the atmosphere. I loved them, and our guests raved about them, especially the pistachio cannoli and Italian rainbow cookies. I had a specific vision in mind of a table overflowing with gorgeous Italian cookies and Bisnonna helped us achieve that, even with our venue being outside their delivery range, by helping us with packaging and transport consultation. I'm obsessed with the results and can't wait to come back and order desserts here on the regular!

Alison further accommodated our distant guests who joined us via Zoom and helped us send them some goodies and treats via a celebration box! Further, she even recommended our caterer and helped calm some anxious nerves about the dynamics of planning a wedding during a world pandemic! However, if you're in the mood for something savory (and distinctly non-vegan), their breakfast sandwiches are also delightful. I passed the Clarendon Bakeshop location on my way to the metro station on a Friday morning and decided to stop to treat myself to a nice, warm breakfast. I got their everything croissant -- which is perfectly flaky and comes studded with plenty of everything bagel seasoning -- and added a scrambled egg and slice of cheese. The egg was perfectly soft and fluffy, and the melted cheese helped to bind the whole thing together. You usually have to wait for a few minutes for the breakfast sandwiches, but the space is nice and cozy, and it's a good opportunity to peruse their pastry selections.“

“This is by far my favorite coffee shop. First and foremost, the coffee is super yum, arguably the most important part of a coffee joint. Beyond that though, the staff are super friendly and personable and make ordering a pleasant experience. The pastries are incredible too, and are as close as I've found to an authentic French patisserie anywhere in the area.

The ambience inside the restaurant is lovely with plenty of seating areas and featuring local artists on the walls. The unique part of Roggenart though is it's vast outdoor seating options in a large and quiet courtyard, which no one else has anywhere else in ballston. Love it here!“

“Oh, this place was my favorite! The smell when I walked in was sweet and decadent. I ordered 4 bundt cakes. 2 for the grandkids and 1 for a friend and 1 for her grandkid. The red velvet was a hit with my granddaughter, and my daughter said it was good. My friend was so shocked how good her pumpkin bundt was. I tasted the snickerdoodle, and it was amazing! Not too sweet, but Rick tender and moist goodness. I recommend this place for your cake, goodness.“

“We taste tested cupcakes from five gluten free bakeries for our wedding. The Red Bandana outdid them all. Even better, they were closest to our venue. We ordered our delicious gluten free, dairy free, soy free cake through The Red Bandana and couldn’t have been happier. The majority of guests just knew that they were eating wedding cake. The guests that needed to know were aware that they were eating gluten free wedding cake. (We didn’t intentionally withhold information. We simply forgot to mention it.) We all had cake. All the allergies were addressed. Having to go to the special allergen free table to get my “safe” food grew old ages ago. Being able to eat my cake and not worry about having a reaction if I picked up the wrong slice provided a breath of fresh air and relaxation for us and our guests.“

“Nothing beats fresh egg tarts. This bakery is tucked away inside a supermarket and it has many varieties of pastries from buns to mooncakes to tarts. They don't look polished, but they do have a more homemade look. Egg tarts were tasty although the crust could be a bit more crisp. I think it's worth coming back to try other items.“
