“Favorite Salvadorean cuisine. My favorite meal is the "yuca con chicharrón," which is fried yucca root and pork crackling (rinds). This also includes shredded cabbage in the center as a side. I recommend reheating in an oven for better taste and texture.My second favorite meal is the chicken sandwich, which includes fries. It's about 8", has some lettuce and mayo in it. Pretty tasty. Same as above for reheating.My favorite sides are red beans or "pupusa revuelta." Pupusas are probably a transliteration of "pupus" or "pu-pu platters," which are similar to "tapas." These are bite-sized entrees or platters, but in this case, it is a fried, corn meal, pancake-like item similar to a 'tamal' in that it is corn-based, but it is flat and round and filled with either cheese, beans, or a combination of both (revuelta).Lastly, no meal comes with a drink included, but you can choose soft drinks, water, beer, coconut water, "horchata" or "jugo de marañón" (cashew juice). Horchata is the name of several kinds of beverages, made of ground almonds, sesame seeds, rice, barley, tigernuts, or melon seeds (in this case, it's a powdered mix). Jugo de marañon is cashew juice, a light sweet juice somewhat similar to guava juice and almond milk combined.Prices are very, very reasonable as is the quality of food. However, I cannot guarantee the best customer service. This does not deter my 5-star rating because I enjoy the food, not the people.Lastly, there is music videos or live fútbol (soccer) usually playing on about 3-4 TVs. There is a restroom for men and women, bit the women's restroom requires a key, which you obtain from the counter up front. They also sell pastries of central American style.“

We were invited to a German Christmas Market Themed party — very specific I know… Since it was a potluck, we decided to make currywurst. Heidelberg’s brats for the recipe were so good. “The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. “Paris Baguette was extremely accommodating with my last-minute request for a full tiramisu cake, even adding “Happy Birthday Mom” as a message on the side. I’m beyond grateful for how convenient and easy they made everything, especially on such short notice. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and a huge hit! I’ll definitely be back. We hired her for our daughter's Quinceañera to make a 3 tier cake and dessert table. She took time to listen to our vision and made it happened. It was absolutely beautiful and delicious. “Got the breakfast plate (forgot the name already, sorry) with biscuit, eggs, meat choice (I got thick cut bacon) and 2 hash browns. Damn was that good. I normally don't love thick cut bacon so thick that it's chewy, but it was like pork belly consistency, and damn good. Hash browns were nice and crispy and golden brown, eggs were cooked perfectly, biscuit was delicious with some of their honey butter and blueberry preserves. And the cashier/server who took our order, she was great and super helpful. (Sorry I didn't get a name, I'm doing great on memory today lol) Will definitely be stopping by again here soon.“

I wish they would have labeled what the items were the top 4 were veggie options: cheese of some kind, a salad, lentils (the seasoning on this WOW) cabbage and spinach. The bottom three contained meat, a collard green and maybe lamb? Doro Wat, and an oxtail / lamb dish? Overall really good, would go in person to try individual things. I wasn’t a fan of the cheese it had no flavor, the cabbage and spinach was missing something - usually i enjoy them at a different place; and the collard greens/lamb weren’t my favorite either due to the acidity in the greens but i enjoyed trying new Ethiopian dishes.“
