“Consistently delicious! Normally, I just go for the cookies, cronuts, and petit fours. This time we tried all things savory. We were invited to a German Christmas Market Themed party — very specific I know… Since it was a potluck, we decided to make currywurst. Heidelberg’s brats for the recipe were so good. We also grabbed their huge soft pretzel (yum) and their curry spread (double yum). Whether you go sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. Love this bakery!“

“The atmosphere and service were great! Also nestled in a cute part of town. I think I would have loved if this place had a bathroom. There are so many drink options and you have the ability to sit-in and enjoy your treats/ drink, but without a bathroom, it’s difficult to give this place a 5 star review. I also wish the gf items would have been clearly separated like the vegan ones were. I felt like I had to struggle to find the items they had since it didn’t match the menu online. But super grateful they had something gf to offer. I’d love a gf biscuit/ scone to add to what you already offer + more macron flavors.“

“Village Sweets did an amazing job on cupcakes and a large cookie kit for my daughter’s birthday. They were so fast with communication, even after I changed my mind a couple times. They were so accommodating! And everything was beautiful and delicious. The cookie kit was a huge hit! They even opened the shop early so I could pick everything up on time. Amazing. Would buy again! Would recommend to a friend!“

“This place isn't open on Sundays, but I forgive them. The pastry here is lovingly made with extreme attention to detail. Cream puff swans? Macarons? Croissant? tartes? volcano cake? and on and on and on and it's soooo hard to choose just one. The staff are friendly and patient, and package up your selection as if it is a newborn baby. Really great place to treat yourself, OR to get something special for someone - including celebration cakes“

“I came here with my family and almost every single item was great. The savory items with the sausages were my favorites. The sweet items were a little sweet for my liking, but they are quite good and have a very light airy texture. Keep in mind though that there will be a long line if you come in peak timing. But that just is testament to how great the food is.“

“I can tell that this bakery really uses quality ingredients and takes its time to ensure everything is fresh, well-flavored, and held to high standards overall. First, the black sesame latte was so good—highly recommend. The brownie was delicious; it’s more on the fudgy side, so if you like a fudgy brownie, I definitely recommend it as well. The hamantashen was very good.

The only thing I would say is that, if I’m not mistaken, there are Middle Eastern–inspired flavors, so if you’re not used to those, you might be a little thrown off by some of the tastes or the extra accents in their dishes. But overall, it’s a very, very good bakery. I love a bakery that takes its time to deliver quality, and I could tell that’s exactly what they do. Even though a few items caught me off guard because I’m not used to those particular spices, everything was still worth giving this place five stars.“

“Nice place with a wonderful shady outdoor space. I didn’t try the pastry, being a contrarian, but had an omelet instead. It was served quickly and well prepared. Staff is friendly, the place is modern attractive, and appeared to be very clean.“

“On check in the place was really busy with busloads of kids also waiting for their rooms. At one point I asked the front desk staff if we would be on a floor with the teens as our last experience at a Marriott in the area was not good and I didn’t want a repeat of the same sort of experience. That couldn’t be guaranteed as the kids were pretty much located on every floor. Nothing against kids or teens at all, we had our own teenager and a baby with us. Front desk staff was apologetic for the delay in check in and gave us a discount on parking. We didn’t ask for it, but the gesture was greatly appreciated. The hotel was quiet and the only issue we found was that the breakfast area was quite busy due to lots of hungry teens in the morning, all of whom I should add were very polite and respectful. I would consider staying here again on future trips.“

Food was exceptional. The entire family ate, so we were able to try lots of different dishes. The standout was the loroco pupisa, but the emepenadas, charrascos, and salteños were close behind. The horchata and monconchichi were also exceptional. Highly, highly recommend.“
