“Was looking for a place to eat that granted a good selection of beers and some vegetarian options, while I spent a couple of days staying in Arlington.
Galaxy Hut has crushed my expectations.
Buffalo things were very good, beer selection is massive, but the highlight was the burger.
By far the best vegetarian burger I have ever had, and also the eggplant fries, just wow!
Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you won't regret it one bit.“

“A lot of beer places typically have mid food - not this place. We honestly come here sometimes just for the food. It’s seriously so good, healthy, and fresh. Their outdoor patio is nicer than their interior in my opinion (it gets loud inside), but either is good.“

“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. “A true hole in the wall.. you see it from the street and debate whether you should go in, but go in you most certain should!

I’ve had both normal meals and catering from this place, and the food has never disappointed. Portions are generous and meat is absolutely succulent.

Service is also very friendly - when I got catering they helped me load things into my car and made sure we had plenty of utensils.

“Earls has been around for more than 20 years for good reason: a simple formula that works! Fresh quality ingredients and friendly hospitable staff always. Reasonably priced.
And customer focused in deed, versus just in word (messaging/marketing). One example of the latter: it’s a rare quality sandwich shop that offers half sandwich options for those with smaller appetites. And, after a very small mixup with my order recently, they apologized and offered me free chips or cookies to compensate. I didn’t accept either but love the ethos and spirit behind the offer.“

“I wasn’t feeling well today, so I went to Fettoosh for harira soup. It was warm, flavorful, and just the light, balanced meal I wanted. I’ve been here many times and have tried almost every vegetarian dish. I’ve enjoyed them all, especially the zalouk.

I’ve also visited with a Moroccan friend, who says the food is authentic. The service is always excellent and personal. Every visit feels like being welcomed as a special guest. The food is great quality for the price, and the mint tea and baklava are delicious too. I’m always happy to come back.“

Fast forward to last week: my best friend from Puerto Rico came to visit with his family. He loves to eat, and his wife can be hard to please. This time, we decided to go to Sabores Tapas Bar. The food was amazing, and the service was just as incredible. It was so good we couldn’t stop eating. I had high expectations—growing up, my house was always full because my friends came over for my mom’s cooking. She’s an amazing cook. “This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! “WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! Only disappointment was appetizer. The fried green tomatoes were lack luster. We would avoid them in future.“

“I was craving sushi while in Washington DC. As I was staying nearby this place popped up on maps and to begin with, I would like to say that they are a very clean outlet, and the staff are very polite. You also get free miso soup on orders over $10.

I got 2 sushis -one was an Ebi maki and the Boston roll . While I would not say this was the best sushi I ever had, they definitely had a lot of other options. It’s a cozy outlet and very vibrant. Good for a quick munch.“
