“WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! Love this place! New favorite Thai spot in the DMV! I'll be back and VERY SOON! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAI FOOD SPICY AS IT SHOULD BE!“

“I found this place one night when I was walking up the street. They were closed for the evening and I made a mental note to return. Sure enough, the next evening I was there. The food is delicious. I had the Pad See Ew. The hot, broad rice noodles, with Chinese broccoli, and chicken were just what I needed on a cold, rainy night. There was a slight spice to it. I wanted to steer clear of too spicy. The menu offers Thai and Sushi. I believe there are some Asian-fusion dishes? There were many things I wanted to try. The Cousins were friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes.“

“I absolutely love this new Thai place at Harrison Street! I got takeout recently and ordered a handful of items new to me--I particularly enjoyed the "Ped Grob Pad Gra Pow" (or crispy honey duck with basil). I also got some of the classics including Pad Thai which were great. When I arrived for pickup, I was the only one there but a few others arrived also to pickup. It appeared to be a husband-wife-duo running the establishment and they both came out to say hi and were extremely friendly and helpful. I only had to wait a few minutes for a very large order. I will most definitely be going back!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at T.H.A.I Shirlington restaurant and I cannot stop raving about their Green Curry Chicken. It was an unforgettable culinary experience! The flavors were simply divine, with the perfect balance of spices and creaminess. The tender chicken pieces combined with the aromatic green curry paste created a burst of delightful flavors in every mouthful. The dish was beautifully presented with vibrant green curry sauce garnished with fresh basil leaves. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The fragrance of the dish was irresistible, making it even more appetizing. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail in the preparation of the dish. The chicken was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender and juicy. The vegetables in the curry were fresh and crisp, contributing to the overall wonderful texture. The flavors were complex and well-balanced, creating a harmonious blend that left a lasting impression. The service at tT.H.A.I Shirlington restaurant was exceptional as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to answer my questions and make recommendations. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, contributing to an enjoyable overall dining experience. I highly recommend trying the Green Curry Chicken at this T.H.A.I Shirlington. It exceeded all my expectations in terms of taste, presentation, and service. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or looking to try something new, this is an absolute must-try dish. “I tried the tofu pad see ew and it was amazing! Great flavor! The waitstaff was very kind and attentive!Dietary restrictions: They had very clear outlines of vegetarian options, and I was able to ask for them to not include eggs to make the dish vegan friendly. They also offer vegetable and tofu as options for their dishes.“

“Thai Treasure is a culinary gem that shines brightly in the constellation of local eateries. This isn't just another Thai restaurant; it's a vibrant homage to the rich tapestry of Thai cuisine, served up in a modern setting that's as inviting as a warm smile. With service that makes you feel like royalty, it's no wonder this place has become a treasure trove for those in search of flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Thailand. Our culinary expedition began with the Crab Rangoon, a playful yet sophisticated take on the classic appetizer. The delicately crispy pouches served with a side of sweet & sour sauce were a surprisingly great way to start the meal, much better than what we typically think of. It's a dish that says, "Welcome to flavor town, population: you."Then came the Lava Beef, a dish so sizzling, it could melt even the coldest of hearts. The combination of beef, onion, bell peppers, and pineapple, all lovingly tossed in a honey pepper sauce and kissed by sesame oil, was a sweet and savory ballet that pirouetted right onto our taste buds. It wasn't just hot; it was volcanic, in the best possible way.The journey continued with Pad Kee Mao, also known as Drunken Noodles. This dish, with its wide rice noodles, onion, bell peppers, tomato, and basil, was like a late-night adventure in Bangkok--bold, spicy, and utterly unforgettable. It's the kind of dish that makes you want to dance in the rain, or at least order another round.Speaking of rounds, the Panang Chicken Curry was a knockout. The spicy, rich curry, infused with the zest of kaffir lime and studded with bell peppers and broccoli, was a masterclass in balance and flavor. It was like a hug from an old friend who just happens to be a Thai spice merchant--warm, comforting, and slightly spicy. And let's not forget the cocktails and classic beverages, a liquid odyssey that's as daring as it is delicious. Thai Treasure's beverage menu is a treasure map that leads to bliss, with each drink more inventive and refreshing than the last. It's the perfect complement to a meal that's already overflowing with flavor and fun.In essence, Thai Treasure is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Thai culture, cuisine, and conviviality. With its modern vibe, exceptional service, and a menu that's both adventurous and authentic, it's a place where every meal feels like a fantastic discovery.“

“Enjoyed all appetizers' dumplings. Spring rolls the sauce that comes with both are very delicious, not just salty soy. The curries are amazing. The server constantly has our water glasses full. In fact, never got less then half full until she refilled.“

“After a friend recommended Buzz Thai Eatery, I’ve eaten from there several times. The staff are always friendly, courteous and extremely patient whenever I have questions about items on the menu. The food portions are generous and the flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend Buzz Thai Eatery, especially their buuz & khuushuur (they’re my favorite so far.) I tried a couple (new to me) items today, sticky rice with mango, California rolls & shrimp tempura maki rolls - they were all delicious. I’m looking forward to trying other items on future trips!“

“Fantastic hole in the wall right in our back yard. Stumbled on this place last week and then went back 3 days later. The food is incredible, portions generous, prices reasonable and staff is kind. Other places, the Pad Thai is dry but Thai Thai uses a lot of very flavorful sauce on theirs! Clearly run by a family with their own recipes.“

“Delicious. Tom yum flavorful, the drunken noodle was hot and full of fantastic wide rice noodle. Always wanted to try massaman curry and they had a beef one which was absolutely amazing. New flavors and spices and the big beef chunks were lean and tender. Will come back a lot.“

“This place was phenomenal, absolutely delicious. We've sent friends and taken people to eat here several times, and everything we've ordered has been amazing. No heat is okay, some heat is flavorful spicy, and hot is well HOT. I suggest going medium or was well “
“Everyone in my family enjoys this restaurant. Our favorite dishes are the tom khar gai, fresh spring rolls, and Mekong Chicken. We have been going here for a decade and probably order here every other week. This is one of the few Thai restaurants where you can get them to modify your spice levels and they pay attention to you what you want. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. We've always enjoyed our meals.“
