“Every time I'm anywhere near Earl's while out doing errands I stop in and get a sandwich. Now this is the way a lunch sandwich should be- clearly REAL turkey meat, fresh lightly toasted multigrain bread, green (not white/yellow) lettuce and (in my favorite case) real cranberry spread. So good and reasonably-priced; I could eat lunch here many days/week if I were in the area more frequently.“

“Overall the food is good but the service is a bit slow. Not sure if they just aren't busy enough to have sufficient staff or what. If you have time to wait 10-15 minutes for a sandwich it's a good price to grab a bite to eat though!“

“Epic SmokeHouse – Arlington, VA Overall Rating: 8/10 Parking lot upgrades at the Pentagon brought G-FORCE to Arlington, but we didn’t expect to stumble upon BBQ royalty just a mile down the road at Epic SmokeHouse. Let’s just say… the name fits. We kicked things off with the App Sampler—and every bite hit like a flavor freight train. Smoked wings so tender they felt like they’d just left the hog pen—crispy skin, juicy interior, absolute perfection. Burnt ends? Melt-in-your-mouth with just enough sauce to whisper "I’m fancy" without screaming it. And the Kalua Pig Rolls… I still don’t know what’s in them, but I want to shake the chef’s hand (or hug him). Then came the showstopper: Brisket Poutine. Hand-cut fries crisped to golden excellence, smothered in rich brown butter gravy, melty cheese curds, and that sweet smoky brisket—topped with green onions and sesame seeds for that crunch-and-pop finale. This dish is dangerous… the kind of comfort food that makes you forget what day it is. The House Secret Burnt Mac rolled in hot in a mini skillet—smoky, cheesy, and just saucy enough to coat every bite without drowning it. Balanced, bold, and addicting. Don’t sleep on the Collard Greens either—just the right amount of flavor, a lil’ bit of spice but not too bold. A solid side that holds its own. Final Verdict: If you’re in Arlington for business, BBQ, or just breathing—get to Epic SmokeHouse. And if you're lucky, G-FORCE might’ve just made the parking lot a little smoother on your way in. #PaintAndPlateCrew #SupportLocal #EpicEats #BBQNearThePentagon #HIREAVET #GFORCEApproved #8OutOf10 #WINWITHVSB #PAINTCORPS“

“Recommended by a coworker to try this place. I got the lamb Vindaloo and garlic naan. The vindaloo was good and had a good amount of spice to it but could be spicier (my personal preference) Was a good heat to make you have a slight sweat but enjoy the meal overall. Compared to the other portions my coworkers got it was quite small but had plenty of lamb in it. I do wish there were more potatoes added.
The staff were friendly I believe they’re father and son. It was the grand opening and they gave us 20% off our orders so for Vindaloo, cup of rice, and naan bread the total was $15.80 usually the vindaloo is $17 and some change (naan not included) definitely will try again when in the area.“

“If you’re traveling through Tysons Corner, Virginia, and craving comforting, no-fuss Chinese takeout, China Express is the hidden gem you need to know about. Serving the area since 1993, this hole-in-the-wall favorite is all about fresh, flavorful dishes, generous portions, and fast service, making it the perfect solution for travelers on the go, late-night cravings, or a cozy meal in your hotel room.\n\nWhat sets this spot apart? Consistency and quality. Regulars rave about the Kung Pao Chicken, Szechuan Crispy Beef, House Lo Mein, and dumplings—all made fresh with bold flavors and tender, well-cooked meats. The shrimp lo mein is a standout, loaded with properly cleaned, juicy shrimp. And if you’re under the weather or just need some classic comfort food, their Chicken & Corn Soup is a must-try. Plus, prices are incredibly reasonable, making this a solid bang-for-your-buck option.\n\nChina Express is takeout and delivery only, so don’t expect dine-in service—but that’s part of what makes it so efficient. Ordering online is seamless, and the friendly staff ensures a quick, hassle-free pickup. “I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. THANK YOU, Nancy!!!!“
