“Dumpling District is in the back of Luna Food Hall. It's a cozy spot with tables and couches. There's also bubble tea, ice cream, and a bar here to go along with your meal. They made the dumplings fresh in front of us and they were amazing. The one thing I didn't like was the stir-fry noodles because it didn't have much flavor. Definitely come here for a fresh and tasty soup dumpling!“

All the dishes we've tried have been consistently very good (the pho broth is amazing — I usually get the Pho Tai Chin Nam) and the family that runs it are friendly and attentive. This is a yummy, reasonably priced, low-key place to grab dinner in Columbia Heights. Highly recommend!“
“This place is amazing, the price is so worth it. Everything is made fresh, so much flavor, I've been going here for about 2 years now often and I never had a meal that disappoints. You can even sample the soups they have that day, it's great! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I am not a beef or pork eater and they always have something either vegetarian, chicken or turkey.“
“Spices is always delicious. It’s one of our go-tos in the neighborhood and has literally never been a disappointment. When you have a spot like this, it’s not easy to remember to give them a review. “Great service, love the ambiance of the Food Hall it's located in! Lots of comfortable seats in the lounge at the front. Very clean, tidy and the music was not too loud. The actual dumplings were divine. The soup in each dumpling was hot, flavorful and easy to drink. The actual bao was a little thin but the fillings were delicious! Next time I may order two. The Rainbow Dumplings (comes with one of each of the six flavors) were all so tasty and each took several bites to enjoy and savor. Have happily found my new favorite Asian place to grab a bite.“

“This spacious store is at the center of DC downtown. I ordered a 6oz warmed lobster roll with butter, and the roll was fully loaded with fresh lobster meat. Good clam chowder soup, thick and creamy. But $37 for a 6 oz lobster roll is not something you can afford it often.“
“This place is consistently good. They're so good they are only 1 of the 2 cafes that survived covid. The breakfast choices and options are good. I usually get the traditional breakfast (toast, home fries, eggs and turkey sausage/bacon). They have a good looking cheesesteak sub but unfortunately don't have a chicken cheesesteak. “I first started dining at Sala Thai restaurant back in 2018 at the Minnesota Ave location, where I instantly fell in love with their chef fried rice and crispy calamari, among other menu items. When I moved to NE, I made the Rhode Island Row location my new go-to spot and have been a regular visitor ever since, indulging in their delicious Thai iced tea and sushi rolls almost daily. My absolute favorite dish is the Mei Fun (without pork or seafood), and I also enjoy their tofu with spicy basil fried rice, curry puffs, spring rolls, and an assortment of specialty rolls. Lately, I've noticed a significant improvement in their interior, menu offerings, and the quality of service, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend paying them a visit for a delightful culinary experience.“

“Longtime Rx Chix soup fan here. The matzoh balls are light & fluffy, the soup is loaded with healthy veggies and delicious chicken, and the broth is oh so flavorful. I love the spicy hangover and faux pho best of all. Hubs will happily eat bipartisan every meal of every day. But can we just talk about the matzoh brei?!? What a treat! It is so, so, good. There is no better way to eat matzoh and Rx Chix makes an excellent preparation. It’s flavorful, eggy, and buttery deliciousness. Loving the classic and everything!
