Feels like a nice hole in the wall place, has the best pesto penne I've ever had in my life. Definitely a place to visit more than once.

LA GROTTA DC: cozy atmosphere, warm, friendly staff and welcoming owner. The owner and chef were kind and warm, very responsive. The food was delish and delicious, eggplant parm, Penne alla Vodka, Fried Calamari, Meat Pizza and Virgin Mojito. Service was fast, responsive and super kind, courteous team focused customer service. Customer often returned a second time during short stay. The ambiance was great and the experience was very cozy. The staff was super kind and the atmosphere made a great experience. Look forward to going back again soon and highly recommend the restaurant.
