This is the place to be if you are gay mostly ladies, but everyone is welcome. Bartenders were fantastic, dance floor was poppin. First time here, they hit it outta the park. Definitely will be back!
I love ALOHO! The vibes and music were super fun and the cocktails were great. It’s refreshing to see a WLW/lesbian bar, and I can’t wait to visit again.Only minus is that the building is inaccessible, with lots of stairs. I’ve noticed the same thing about other bars/clubs in DC, just something to be aware of.

I've been to this bar often for the past few years. Tonight, as I was trying to enter, the lady at the front told me my ID was not real and threatened to rip it up in front of me, but encouraged me to "try another door". My ID is legitimate, and I might be a few years younger in my picture but my face is definitely my face. I was really jarred by the experience of her threatening to rip up my real ID and she didn't even entertain the idea of giving it a second look, just threatened...read full review
