“This is and has been my favorite gay bar in DC for a long time. They’ve always had the best happy hour, and then it turns into the best scene in the evenings! The two floor layout makes it perfect regardless of what you’re looking for. Downstairs is a little quieter which allows for fun conversation. Upstairs is livelier with amazing music, which allows for more of a nightclub scene. Drinks are strong and bartenders are hot! Highly recommend!“

“Went to Trade tonight and I was amazed with the music in the back room. The crowd was great and it was unbelievable they didn’t charge a cover to get in! If you’re gay and looking for a good time like the days of Town, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Plus, the customers are the good looking crowd from Vida, etc. Definitely worth making Trade your night spot. Well done and thanks! It’s definitely worthy of a stellar review! 💯“

“Great staff, good drinks, friendly atmosphere“

“A meandering, friendly queer space! Visited from out of town, the crowd was early 20s and very excited to bop to madonna & swift. Easy re-entry. But if you’re closer to 30 or want a club vibe with a proper DJ, this might not be the spot.“

“What they’ve done with the Eagle, by moving upstairs is an awesome addition to the DC nightlife. I’m looking forward to both designated great nights, as well as happy hours with the uncovered indoor patio area. For a DC bar, they definitely surprised me. It was awesome to see a place to go mid week that actually felt like an Eagle!“

“You want a nice urban spot to celebrate the LGBTQ culture, then come here for great drinks and more great drinks. Karaoke on Wednesday’s be lit. Bring your voice because DC is definitely not playing. No food is served here, but right next door is ZBurger. Trust me you will love it.

“This place is fine all things considered. I know its easy to be nitpicky about a dive bar but when theyre serving up titos for the cheapest prices in the city i cant be mad. Is it in a back alley? Yes. Did a giant rat run across my path on my way there? Also yes. But you know the type of place youre on your way to. It at least doesnt smell bad which is better than some other bars.“

“Affordable shots, beautiful spaces!! Different rooms were playing different music. The main floor had an option to request a song. I didn't love the music selection though, it was hard to keep a vibe going. When the room is fully packed, there wasn't much you could do but stand around, and where we did have some dancing room, the music was all wack. Anyway, love lesbians and hope to come back for a better time!!“
