Fantastic service and experience from our bartender Mike! Great follow-up experience after an incredibly disappointing and hostile experience at Larry’s, another nearby gay bar, earlier that night.
Overall, I thought JR's Bar & Grill was a great and easy place for getting some adult drinks in the 'gayborhood'. *Wait, JR's has a grill?* I have to admit that I typically visit for post-brunch shenanigans on Sundays so the atmosphere might be a little different from primetime hours (e.g., Friday & Saturday nights). I always go here whilst in DC as I only drink in Italy or at a gay bar -- mostly because I am cheap. I love JR's loft to people watch.
