Sushi Taro Reviews
Overall five stars for the service. We made a mistake with the original reservation and they were so kind in accommodating us. Generally, everyone was so professional and kind.
We did the tasting menu along with the sake pairing. Overall, the food was solid but it seemed a little pricey for the quality we got. Best sushi place! Been dining here for over 12 years at the counter. Nobu or Massa can’t go wrong! Service is amazing and amazing experience
I visited this Japanese restaurant with friends and we all had a fantastic experience. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic dishes, and every item we ordered exceeded expectations. The hibachi dishes were cooked perfectly, and the sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxing, making it a perfect place for both casual dinners and celebrations.

Sushi Taro, located above a CVS, provides a sushi experience that many find delightful. The menu features a variety of meals, including cooked seafood and sushi, ensuring there is something for everyone. Popular highlights include the Kobe dish and NC Bluefin Tuna special. The cooked mixed vegetables are well-seasoned and make for a great start, while the seaweed and radish dish is both refreshing and warming. The 6-piece Poke-mon roll and shrimp tempura roll are satisfying options, with the rice being perfect for sushi. The rainbow roll, with its vibrant mix of fish, and the salmon avocado roll remain favorites among guests. The restaurant's calm, zen-like interior decor, along with big windows overlooking leafy trees, creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is attentive, and the extensive sake selection enhances the meal. Although the food quality has been noted as overpriced by some, others appreciate the great quality and fair prices, particularly on busy Friday nights. During restaurant week, dishes like soft shell crab and shabu shabu ramen were enjoyed hot and flavorful. Overall, Sushi Taro continues to be a notable destination for sushi lovers seeking a memorable experience, despite mixed reviews on certain dishes.
