“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to“

“First time to this area and figured we would try Andy’s. The three of us each had the 2 slices and a drink combo. The pizza was pretty good and had a lot of flavor. Enjoyed the ambiance of the establishment and the Western Market in general. However, they have a gnat problem as we continually had to wave them away from our table and food. Other than that was a good experience.“

“I was there for the opening day and it was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and had huge smiles on their faces. The line moved quickly and the food was delicious and made exactly to order. The soup was still piping hot when I got back to the office. So happy they finally opened a location in Union Station.“

“First impression, fancy place yet accepting of my Washington Capitals hoodie. I thought for sure I was gonna get calamari but the waitress sweet talked me into getting chicken parmigiana. And wow am I glad she did. It’s like a pizza but with a chicken tender crust. Great work! And right when I didn’t think they could do any better, I got a free cookie!!! That is service.“

“On a bit of a health kick and randomly popped in looking for (obviously) a salad and was warmly greeted by Moussa. It was a down time and there was one customer ahead of me being helped by the team member behind the line. Moussa paused whatever work he was doing on his laptop and jumped behind the line to help me out, making a couple of recommendations and helping me navigate the extensive menu. We chatted a bit as he built my salad and I discovered he was actually the manager. The food, service, and atmosphere were all 10/10. Moussa did a fantastic job making sure my first experience at Just Salad was a great one, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.“

“I love Chopt Salad, and I come to this location at least once a week. The ingredients are always so fresh. What I am disappointed in is the service after 3pm. I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. Bad customer service will definitely have me going next door to roti.“

“I had one of the best burgers of my life here. And a pretty good drink, too. Service was great, as well. Not really a complaint, but it was nearing sunset and was very dark, so I had to use the candle on the table to read the menu, since I'm of a certain age. I suppose that actually added to the ambience, though. I'm glad we happened upon it as we left our hotel looking for a spot for dinner.“

“This is a tidy little cafe with a nice selection of healthy eats. I had a falafel wrap with a side of spinach and potatoes and a green smoothie. They have a wide range of options, from their popular chicken shawarma wrap to chickpea or salmon salads, and fresh pressed juices. What stood out to me was the fantastic service. The owner made great suggestions based on my dietary restrictions. It’s a great place to unwind, and a welcome spot im the neighborhood.“

“My boyfriend and I were visiting from Texas. Found Alfreda’s online and came for dinner. It was absolutely amazing and our favorite meal of our trip. I had the blueberry St. Germain spritz and the passion fruit spritz— both great. And we shared the Caesar salad and the Alfreda pizza add basil. It was definitely up there, if not was, our favorite pizza we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Alfreda sauce on the side, like a dilly ranch with a bit of sweetness. Are you gonna order anything?” She had the most stony expression… It was only my second time here, so I was quite sure I had not had any negative encounters with anyone. I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. I gave two stars for service, because my first experience was so amazing! I don’t know what happened.“

My Parmesan Chicken Salad Sandwich ($10.50) delicious. The small Devon Salad ($4.50) and Iced Passion Fruit Tea ($4.00) completed a very good, reasonably priced, quick lunch.“
