“First time to this area and figured we would try Andy’s. The three of us each had the 2 slices and a drink combo. The pizza was pretty good and had a lot of flavor. Enjoyed the ambiance of the establishment and the Western Market in general. However, they have a gnat problem as we continually had to wave them away from our table and food. Other than that was a good experience.“

“On a bit of a health kick and randomly popped in looking for (obviously) a salad and was warmly greeted by Moussa. It was a down time and there was one customer ahead of me being helped by the team member behind the line. Moussa paused whatever work he was doing on his laptop and jumped behind the line to help me out, making a couple of recommendations and helping me navigate the extensive menu. We chatted a bit as he built my salad and I discovered he was actually the manager. The food, service, and atmosphere were all 10/10. Moussa did a fantastic job making sure my first experience at Just Salad was a great one, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.“

“I love Chopt Salad, and I come to this location at least once a week. The ingredients are always so fresh. What I am disappointed in is the service after 3pm. I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. Bad customer service will definitely have me going next door to roti.“

“First impression, fancy place yet accepting of my Washington Capitals hoodie. I thought for sure I was gonna get calamari but the waitress sweet talked me into getting chicken parmigiana. And wow am I glad she did. It’s like a pizza but with a chicken tender crust. Great work! And right when I didn’t think they could do any better, I got a free cookie!!! That is service.“

“My favorite study spot and chai latte in DC!!! Youebe is one of those places that feels like it belongs in the neighborhood. The space is relaxed and welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. On top of that, the service has been consistently good every time I’ve visited (which is very often).
The drinks are well made across the board, and the chai latte is my personal favorite. Everyone I have brought here wants to come back. They also have juices made with the freshest ingredients possible. Great place to go if you’re looking for a study sesh, or to grab a coffee (and some good food) with friends.“

I had the blueberry St. Germain spritz and the passion fruit spritz— both great. And we shared the Caesar salad and the Alfreda pizza add basil. It was definitely up there, if not was, our favorite pizza we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Alfreda sauce on the side, like a dilly ranch with a bit of sweetness. I grew up in this neighborhood and went to HD Woodson and didn't even know it was there. I love the energy and beauty it brings to Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue. “love chop’t but at a loss on the variances of sweet potato cooking. while it is my opinion that sweet potatoes are not a veg that should have a bite, but here to educated! if my expectation or grasp is far from norm. totally get why the brussels or carrots in my bowl have bite. but have spent most of my lunch separating the sweets out of fork range. would appreciate other veg options with same or close nutrition deets available in consistent cooked or prepped form.“

My Parmesan Chicken Salad Sandwich ($10.50) delicious. The small Devon Salad ($4.50) and Iced Passion Fruit Tea ($4.00) completed a very good, reasonably priced, quick lunch.“

I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything.
