“I grew up eating cheese slices, sicilians, Italian ices, and calzones here since the late 80s. I even hung out at the dessert stand they opened in the 1990s. I loved them all. Then I moved away in the early 2000s. I miss this place at lot, especially with a huge lack of quality NY style pizza where I live. I still ask my folks to buy and freeze a pie to bring with them when they come to visit. Their sauce game is on point, in my humble opinion.“

But he means well, and trying to make sure your experience is just as bomb as ours. Brought the pizza out to make sure it was too our liking, reasonable prices on the menu, and just all around gentleman. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, special shoutout to Diana, and the customer service was probably what stood out to me the most. “My Family and I stopped here because we love Greek food and heard this was authentic Greek food. First thing I tried was the calamari appetizer, as we are from Louisiana and love our seafood. The calamari hands down was the best I have ever had. The texture, the flavor, everything about it was fantastic. You can get that kind of quality in a 5 Star restaurant. Next home made fry’s, absolutely delicious. Don’t left me forget the Spanakopita, first time hearing it and eating and also fell in love with it. I had the Big Fat Gyro lamb, as well as my son and wife. Again another fantastic dish. Full of flavor and the size of these are huge so you’re getting a great deal. My wife also order a platter of Souvlaki and a Gyro platter as well for us to try. Completely delicious. Hands down such a great place. I will definitely be coming back my next trip. “I love Chopt Salad, and I come to this location at least once a week. The ingredients are always so fresh. What I am disappointed in is the service after 3pm. I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. Bad customer service will definitely have me going next door to roti.“

“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. “This pizza was great! They made the crust from a really delicious sourdough, which I was kind of skeptical about but, oh man, that pizza was delicious! The perfect amount of crunchiness paired with ingredients that combine savory flavors with satisfying textures. The staff were super sweet, really kid-friendly, and approachable. Lastly, their bathroom was extremely clean with nice-smelling handsoap, which can be hard to find in that area.“

“The Greene Turtle is a great spot in College Park to grab drinks and catch a game! Merissa was friendly, made great drinks, and was very informative about the menu, explaining the different food and drink options.

Shout-out to Emma behind the bar, too! Both consistently checked on our party and were attentive throughout our visit, making sure we were well taken care of. They really added to the fun, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a game day spot!“

“The food is good, but I’m gonna have to remove stars because of the customer service. 😕 When I first entered, I wasn’t greeted. The associate just stared at me, as if to say “I don’t have all day. Are you gonna order anything?” She had the most stony expression… It was only my second time here, so I was quite sure I had not had any negative encounters with anyone. I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. I gave two stars for service, because my first experience was so amazing! I don’t know what happened.“

He was telling me how he was from California how it came out here started this business and been out of Maryland for a long time and you can just tell they love what they do when they’re trying their best and I think they’re doing great. They definitely deserve it and overall I think the atmosphere is the only thing I gave a four star because you know it’s it’s not a real you know it’s it’s no-frills.
