“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.”

The guests raved about the food. Greenbelt Mission BBQ will be my number one place for party food. Thanks to all who work there.”

“Generous Joe's is a staple of the Greenbelt Community and not only is it a great place to eat with good food but was also a great place to work at, Joe was a great owner and Aaron a great Manager. I am happy to see the place grow and to see the new ideas that are coming into play under the ownership of Aaron while still maintaining and respecting the tradition of Joe's as well. So definitely recommend if your in Greenbelt to stop by definitely recommend the Steak and Cheese w/ Green peppers :P”

“What is it about astronaut-types who love sushi? This might be a generalization but Osaka is a NASA haunt. I’m pretty sure this sushi restaurant’s bread-and-butter is due in part to the fact they are literally across the street from NASA and know how to serve delicious sushi with decades of veteran expertise.

Osaka Japanese Restaurant offers tasty and reliable dishes. And has for many years. It does not have a fusion menu or flashy decor. It does has traditional Japanese fare that you will enjoy and likely come back for.

The sushi bar, itself, is small. I’ve sat at it a few times, over the years, and found it a friendly and comfortable place to dine alone. The service in the large dining area is usually austere and efficient. I’ve only ever seen one waiter work the entire restaurant at night and he does it well.

When we dined here, recently, I was in a Japanese comfort food mood. So, this review is devoid of any raw seafood reflections. There are many, many options outside of sushi to choose from at Osaka.

I was relieved to know that our dishes came with miso soup and a ginger dressing salad, as should be normal at full-service Japanese restaurants. The dressing was so good that I sipped most all it after the salad was gone. I lost all of my dignity and sipped it like soup.

I ordered a Bento Box. The Bento Boxes are impressive, here, because of their variety and portion size. We enjoyed Bento Box “B,” with salmon teriyaki, 6 California rolls, shrimp and vegetable tempura, gyoza dumplings and white rice.

I wouldn’t dare ask for a California roll substitution because I’m guessing everyone else does and classically Bento Boxes are not ‘make your own’. But I abhor the painted-red faux crabmeat in California rolls which one finds at many restaurants and markets. Not these rolls, at Osaka, however! I actually more-than-liked their California rolls and Ican honestly say I do not usually eat them without removing the meat. Not here. This is really saying a lot about their food quality, here. I didn’t ask but I think they actually use real crab meat instead of the pollock or otherwise fish blend that 95% of places use in California rolls. When you’re in the state of Maryland eating California rolls, faux crab meat is heresy.

The salmon teriyaki in the Bento Box B was a tastey surprise! It was super-fresh, perfectly seared and not overcooked. The shrimp tempura were average/fine. The vegetable tempura was even better: asparagus, eggplant and a yam. I think the fried coating could have been lighter and airier but it was not too thick.

The gyoza dumplings were a definite stand-out: were these homemade?! They must have been because they were expertly seasoned, delightfully herby and aromatic. Must get more gyoza!

Entree #2 was pork katsu called Ton Katsu. The pork was good but I much prefer their chicken katsu. The person I was sharing these dishes with preferred pork. It was good and well-seasoned. The ton katsu sauce was complex and the umami was definitely there. It was thick, smoky and dark. Not at all sweet. We also requested the sweeter teriyaki sauce on the side and I ended up using equal parts of each.

The second standout at Osaka was the cabbage side dish which came with the pork ton katsu entree. This was a lovely and unique presentation of thinly-sliced cabbage along with other flavors. I don’t know if they also offer this as an appetizer but I really liked it. I also added some ginger dressing to it and tasted even better.

All in all Osaka Japanese Restaurant in Greenbelt is maybe overlooked and should never be because their sushi and entrees are at least reliably classic and good, if not delicious and - at times - even surprising.”

“Just all around AMAZING service. Took care of me, my girlfriend and little cousin. Gotta give him a chance because his English isn’t as clear as ours. But he means well, and trying to make sure your experience is just as bomb as ours. Brought the pizza out to make sure it was too our liking, reasonable prices on the menu, and just all around gentleman. If you’re in old Greenbelt or even Greenbelt in general, please come check this spot out. I love this area, and it’s places like DMV Pizza that will have me staying here for a long time. “The Chicken wings here at bbq Chicken and so scrumptious. They're consistently mouth watering and finger licking special. In particular is this the so with the honey garlic. The flavors and the cook are perfectly balanced. They're maybe a dollar more than say Wingstop, but oh man it's worth it and more. Can't go wrong with bbq Chicken.”

“So glad to find this local business to place an order with for a friend's bachelorette party! We went to a winery and I wanted to bring some desserts to share, but wanted it all individually wrapped (Covid-19 times call for a little twist on what you normally do, huh?). LaWann was awesome to work with and gave me suggestions on which desserts would work best as individuals. I ended up ordering red velvet mini bunt cakes (SO GOOD!) and heart shaped snickerdoodle cookies (I know they were good cause they were all gone by the time I went to get one!). They even had cute decorations to fit our winery bachelorette party! Keeping Strib'ble in mind for future birthdays & holidays!”

“This place is a must stop in for me. The food is delicious 😋 and plentiful. I'm about to eat a very tasty Cobb salad 🥗 Lettuces, cucumbers, tomato 🍅 black olives, red onion, 🥑 avacado bacon 🥓 a lite sprinkle of cheddar cheese 🧀 and a boiled 🥚 egg. They have a balsamic vinagret dressing that is so good. I recommend this place. They serve all sorts of food, there's something for every taste. I've had breakfast from there and chicken salad subs and smoothies that you can have to your taste. If you're in Greenbelt @ 7501 Greenway Center Drive the smell of their food cooking will pull you in...around the corner to Uptown Deli.”

“First time as a regular from the area and I have nothing to say but praise! Got the breakfast for the first time absolutely delicious, tastes fresh and very satisfying. Great owners and well run establishment, a hidden gem that deserves recognition. Look forward to trying more from the menu!”

“Clean place, friendly staff. Great food with fresh ingredients. Good variety of Hummus flavors. Been coming once a week nearly every week for about a year and Never had any issues here. Not open on weekends, which I assume is due to the fact this is located inside of an office building. But that's alright, still a great place when it's open.”

“Food was good but they cheap with sauce. You bought 1 order of 1/2chicken w/2sides you get the same amount of sauce for 4 orders of 1/2 chicken. This is in Bowie Md location. I guess I am not coming back there again.”

“The owner, she has the most selection of icecream cakes of any BR anywhere, and I’ve been to all of them! She especially makes sure that she stocks mint chocolate icecream cakes for me and about 4 other regular customers, even though it’s not the most popular flavor. It is obvious this store specializes in cakes. Her custom writings on the cakes are always done with care and great calligraphy. All flavors and sizes of icecream cakes are always in stock at this location, which is why I always return to this store. Thank you owner!”

“We had a great time here. The man at the counter was patient with us in taking our order and answering questions. Our only gripe was that the sauce on the table wasn't hot enough 😝. The guy that took our order made sure to tell us what was in the sauce bottles and warn about one having jalapeños in. Well, we wished there was more vegetables in the dishes we ordered.”

“This spot is my favorite. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The team is very warm and the cooking they place on your table is so good. I never decline to have a good meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.”

“This was easy when staying at the Crown, nice atmosphere with happy hour until 6pm. Service is great and food is good for a small menu but great choices. I had grilled chicken thighs on rice with a side salad and it was very tasty. I’m back again but just with chicken Caesar salad, good beer and drink choices too.”

has greeted me on each occasion, they are swift with taking and preparing orders and also even given me a sheet of coupons. Glad to see this improvement.

There was a couple in front of me. No one was working the register. No one greeted me despite me saying hi- I don’t work there. The establishment was honestly stink and besides me waiting for atleast 8 mins with no one acknowledging me, I left. 0 stars, I passed 3 and decided to stop here since I let was my first time seeing it the day before. I’ll stick to the other 3! Thanks for nothing.”

“Today I went with my family to dinner at Charley's Phillistheak in Greenbelt. From the moment we arrived, it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and professional, and the food was excellent. 👌 We ordered wings and were delighted. I highly recommend this place. It was very clean and everything was very pleasant.
