“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!”

“Excellent, efficient and clean establishment. Food was ready when I walked in to pick it up at 10-15 min after I placed the order. The Tejas BBQ brisket taste was fantastic. The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).”

“This was my and my fiancé's first time dining at this restaurant a few nights ago. We made a table reservation via OpenTable for 7:00pm, arrived at 6:50pm, and we were seated right away. From previous reviews I heard I was a good idea to make reservations, so that seems to be accurate from our experience because it was definitely a full house. The food is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I enjoyed my appetizer of Fiesta Egg rolls which were definitely cheesy, hot, and full of shredded chicken and lots of flavor. For entrees I got the Prime Rib (medium) which was cooked perfectly with some redskin mashed potatoes 😋 my fiancé got the Eastern Shore style crab cakes which were broiled and very tasty; came with coleslaw and show string french fries. My fiancé enjoyed all of his meal, with the exception of the coleslaw which he did not partake in due to health reasons. I also tried to Elite Margarita which was pretty good but a tad strong on the tequila for my liking, but the lime slice helped to take down some of the bitter alcohol taste for me 🙂👍🏾 The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing, classy, and dimly lit which we loved because it had a romantic vibe to it. Our server, Olivia, was very friendly and welcoming and was on point making sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning again to this location.”

“This is my favorite Ledo’s location in the area. The store is always clean, the food is consistently good, and my orders are accurate. I also really appreciate the customer service. When I place an online order, they often call to verify the details, remind me if I need to bring my ID for card verification, and make sure I know anything important about pickup. It is a small thing, but I appreciate the extra reminder because it is always better to be safe than sorry. They are friendly, organized, and attentive, which makes the whole experience easy every time.”

“Was introduced to this restaurant by a friend. When I received my food and opened it, the fragrance was amazing. I ordered the tilapia with jollof rice and plantain. The whole fish, yes whole fish was seasoned and was delicious. I couldn't stop at what I said was enough as my portion,lol. The rice was good. I couldn't get to my plantain😞..... I was full! “4.5/5 I have eaten here a few times and I have to say I love the pupusas here!
They have great sauces for the pupusas as well. One thing I have to admit is that I’m a huge fan of chicken pupusas… I must emphasize that I always order chicken pupusas at any pupuseria restaurant. In this case they used the rotisserie chicken rather than shredded chicken in seasoning. This usually Does not happen at this location but it caught me off by surprise. Is this change in the menu? Regardless will be coming back to eat other pupusas here”

“First time at this specific location and when I say the food WAS BOMB!!! I will only come to this location for now on! I got the fish platter with a half and half and everything was delicious. Our food was so good, the customers behind us asked what was that delicious smell (the fried whitening) and they ended up ordering the same thing!

“Flora's Restaurant has become my go-to spot for incredible West African food, and I can't recommend it enough!!!

The Food: Absolutely outstanding. I've tried several dishes here, and everything has been consistently delicious. My personal favorites are the jollof rice and chicken stew, both of which are packed with flavor and clearly made from scratch. You can't go wrong with the beef suya, and their fufu never disappoints. My father always orders the egusi, and my mother is hooked on the salmon. Every dish we've tried has been a winner. The menu features authentic West African cuisine prepared with care and skill, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. You can tell the chef is a true professional who takes pride in their craft. Nothing tastes rushed or pre-made. The portions are generous, and the flavors are rich and well-balanced. Whether you're familiar with African cuisine or trying it for the first time, the menu has something that will exceed your expectations.
I've also had the pleasure of trying their catering service, and I was equally impressed. The food traveled well, stayed fresh, and was just as flavorful as dining in. It's rare to find a restaurant where the catering quality matches the in-house experience, but Flora's absolutely delivers on both fronts.

The Atmosphere: It's a small, intimate spot that seats around 20 people. While they do a lot of takeout orders, it's also a nice place for families to sit down and enjoy a meal together. The space is clean and well-kept, and they always have great music playing in the background that makes the dining experience even better.

The Service: The staff work hard in the kitchen, and it shows in the quality of every dish. The owner is usually hard at work as well but definitely makes the effort to greet you, which speaks to how much care goes into running this place.

Bottom Line: Flora's is the real deal. Great food, fair prices, and a business run with integrity. If you're in the Greenbelt/Lanham area and looking for authentic African cuisine or just a solid meal, Flora's should be at the top of your list. I'll definitely be back!”

“A local checking this out for the first time.
Ordered two tacos to go and some churros from their bakery case. Churros still tasted fresh mid-day and were super crunchy. Ordered one chicken and one steak taco. Fantastic tacos. Was surprised about the 15min wait for the tacos, so ended up waiting in the car to come back and get them. Grabbed pics of their current menu since this seemed to be outdated a little online.”
