“Hands down the BEST bar in DC!! I’ve seen great reviews online, but the experience was even better than imagined. The place is cozy and intimate. When you walk in you immediately feel like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home. The aesthetic, the playlists 1110/10. The staff are all beyond kind and friendly. Danny immediately made us feel at home as he explained the personal story and flavors behind each drink. I cannot say enough about how great the ambience, service and drinks 110000/10. The baked Alaska is a MUST TRY. I’ve never had anything like it before and cannot describe how priceless of an experience it was. Also, you can ask for a little gato on your drink and take it home for a small adoption fee!! Can’t wait to go back again!!”

“The first time checking this place out. ordered it to go. Customer service was great, staff was knowledgeable of the menu and gave a great recommendation. “My friend and I arrived for brunch earlier today, and our experience was outstanding! We both enjoyed our meals tremendously. The serving size was such that we both had enough left over for the next day. Our servers, Jamari and Jamaal were top notch. They provided us with a balance of dedicated service without being overbearing. I definitely plan a return visit. Hopefully, I'll get the same servers, although from what I observed, all of the servers were excellent!”

Despite that, the staff welcomed us warmly and still decided to serve us without hesitation. They made everything fresh, and the service was excellent from start to finish. You could tell they genuinely cared about giving us a good experience, even while getting ready to clean up for the night. Very satisfied and grateful for their hospitality—definitely coming back!”

“Our order came to us like a beautiful piece of artwork on canvas! Everything we tried was excellent - dino rib (stand out), wagyu brisket, pastrami brisket (which is a specials!) and sides! Service was friendly and lovely and everyone is clearly so proud of their food. And parking is ample and free, what more do you need to convince you to come and try!”

“At first we were a little surprised to be eating in a Days Inn -- and Al-Madani is unassuming atmospherically. However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. I feel like this is a hidden gem and hope many more people find them and that they get lots of business!”

“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.”
