Work has taken me from Arkansas to New York and now Maryland, and even though I don’t usually have much time to explore, I always try to find a good coffee spot. ☕
TikTok search sent me to Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville and it did not disappoint. The coffee was so good I literally had to order a second one. 🤭 The service was very welcoming, the kind of place you’re glad you stumbled across.

I have been a returning customer for five years now. I really enjoy the service and atmosphere! Employees care about the customer’s experience and feedback. I had frustrations with frequent wrong orders, but management responded quickly and kindly.
As a Californian, this is one of the few coffee shops in the area that reminds me of a west coast coffee shops. Lots of tables, outlets, WiFi, they roast their own coffee, food is always solid, merch is cute and rotates. Parking lots nearby are very inexpensive, and it’s close to a lot of cute local businesses that I love to check out whenever I’m in the area.

Vigilante Coffee is a beautiful coffee shop with a California vibe, great staff, and a pleasant, clean atmosphere. The coffee is excellent, not overbrewed and bitter, with delicious drinks like the hot vanilla latte and mocha made with real ingredients. The baked goods are incredible, like the super savory bagel with chive cream cheese. The hip atmosphere, delicious maple cappuccino, and cozy environment make it a perfect spot to hang out, work, or enjoy a mug full of goodness. Visitors also appreciate the fresh beans and coffee classes. The shop roasts its own coffee on site, making it a true coffee lovers' paradise with tremendous service and drink quality. The space is quite open, which can make it echoey and loud, so soundproof headphones are recommended. There is also a cute outside seating section for enjoying good weather. While the Wi-Fi sometimes has issues, the friendly and very kind staff and good service keep customers coming back. Overall, Vigilante Coffee remains one of the best spots in the immediate area.
