Horrible experience, Rude owner Mgr Operator. waited more than an hour for my meal in a empty restaurant. My order when it arrived it was subpar. When I made mention of this. I was dismissed and ignored. I paid the bill non the less but information is power. STOP SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WHERE YOU'RE NOT RESPECTED. Not a lost subpar food, bad drinks, poor service. RATHER GO TO SALA THAI. Better food customer service
I walked in to pick up an Ubereats order, as an Uber driver. I gave the name, they said it's not ready yet. I wait 15 minutes, ask again (with customer name and order ID#), they tell me that it was already picked up by a driver. I explained that I was the driver, that my picture pops up with the order, called the customer, they had waited over an hour and still not even received a notification saying it had been picked up. I am a true lover of Thai food and have eaten at many Thai restaurants in DC, MD and VA. I have become a “regular” at the Tara Thai Hyattsville location. Eating in this restaurant feels like a “family affair.” Good food in a quick turn around. I highly recommend!!!

Based on the reviews, Siam Thai Cuisine is a very authentic Thai restaurant run by kind and friendly people with an amazing atmosphere. The food is great, with the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) being the best some have had. The chicken kaprow, beef drunken noodles, Tom Yum soup, appetizer sample, and crabmeat-fried rice are all delicious. The green, massaman, panang, red, and yellow curries are also phenomenal. The mango sticky rice is pretty small for the price, so the fried banana with coconut ice cream is recommended. However, note the 18% automatic gratuity on dine-in orders. The customer service can vary; while some found the service amazing, cheerful, and welcoming with knowledge of gluten-free options, others found the staff not accommodating and felt rushed out before the 9:30pm closing time.
