Excellent neighborhood cold cut sub shop and community pillar. Mr. Carl is a great man.
There is NO better sandwich shop on DC. They only take cash and no one cares about that. I don't think they've chanhed their menu in the 20 years I've been eating here, and no one cares about that either. These are big, delicious, no-frills sandwiches. Worth every penny. I always go for the #1, unless I get the #2.
