“The best hard roll sub in DC has got to be the G Man. My family has been eating them for well over 40 years. It's a family run carry out that has consistently made the same sandwich's for my family my whole entire life. If I'm in the neighborhood, I pick some up for everyone. It's a tradition my father started and I happily carry it on.“
“These are amazing sandwiches, we've been to two of the locations and each nailed it. I wouldn't give any stars for the customer service, one of the locations had a sign that essentially said do not talk to the employees. You basically handle the ordering online and pick it up rather quickly when you get there. Very unique sandwiches that span across the globe....only 4 stars vs 5 because they cannot even be bothered to say hello.“
“The office I work at loves to order here for luncheons. This time I tried one of their fan favorites the Sweet Thai Chili Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It was so so good. I was very impressed. It had the right amount of kick from the chili and crunch from the slaw. Next luncheon, I will prob order again thats just how good it was & on a warm brioche bun.“
“A small sandwich and smoothie shop that has fresh food and great values. My Classic BLT ($12.99) was huge and also had onions, cucumbers and lots of avocado. My Manapple Smoothie was nice and thick and refreshing. Located across the street from the Farragut West Metro.“
“Anyone and everyone around DC, if asked where to get the best sub sandwich, will suggest a sub from here. It's the "Go To" spot. Only makes subs and has been doing this for years. Very nice selection to choose from and fast service. Lunchtime is always the busiest time to visit but they keep it moving. Hard not to give it 5 stars. Number 9 is my favorite!“
“These are the best sandwiches I've had in town, hands down. The brisket and roast beef are delicious, and definitely appreciate something that's made by the people serving it. Either their menu favorites or to build your own, there are enough options for anything you can think of. The serving of hand cut fries are large, and actually less expensive than fast food. There's a counter/bar to sit at, and self serve seating if you want to stay. The only drawback is it's pretty expensive, so while you do get what you pay for it's a little steep for me to go often.“
“Delicious breakfast blt and pastries. Generously sized blt. Excellent, speedy service. Great atmosphere for a quick bite or to study. The sweeter, more elaborate coffee options and horchata looked very tempting. I'll have to try them next time.“
“My daughter & I visited this eatery on our trip to DC and absolutely loved everything about it! We got the chicken 1 sandwich & the Greek Goddess, along w/ tomato soup & quinoa chili, & lemonade! Everything was fresh & near perfect. And the owner was delightful to talk to. Wish we had something like this where we live!“
“First time at Grazie Grazie, and it's not bad !The food is correct, the size is big, especially the sandwich. The salad was good too, even if it was a little bit too much dressing in it. I found the bottom of the lettuce in my salad (last photo). You never put this part in a salad, that's a big mistake...Overall, it's a good stop to eat quickly. The service is fast.Decoration is nice.“
“Probably the best sloppy joe I’ve ever had. I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves it, 100%. The guys who make the magic happen inside of this establishment are always happy, and welcoming, leaving you with a memorable TASTY experience. Also, the hot dogs are out of this world. Will keep coming back as long as they’re open ❤️“
“This is something I would call a "if you know then you know" type of place. The location is not the best unless you live in the neighborhood, quick bite to eat good service, consistent food. The owners have been there a long time and we appreciate it.“
“Delicious casual eats with a nice menu that everyone will be able to find something they want to try. It does get crowded on the weekend so use the Open table app to easily book a table. Make sure to try the Italian soda we did the blueberry / vanilla sans alcohol and it is the most delicious thing!“
“This place is across the street from my house, so if I'm home and craving a sub, i go to Mother Rucker's. Their subs are solid. I've only ever had the veggie and the tuna sub. Staff is friendly and efficient. Pro tip: get your bread toasted. If not the wetness of the oil/vinegar/wet ingredients will make your bread soggy. There's never a long wait, so you're able to get in and out quickly. They have a good selection of chips as well. They accept cashapp as payment.“
“We stayed at the Melrose which was great but we were able to go right next door to the most friendly little place. We ended up coming over every morning for breakfast and even had some evening sandwiches. Prices were very reasonable and a good selection. If you're staying close give it a try you'll be happy you did. It was great !!“
“I came to get some breakfast while waiting for a family member to get done surgery at GW Hospital. It is about an 8 minute walk from the hospital.Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel sandwich was actually pretty good. There could’ve been more meat however it was really inexpensive which made it worth what I paid for. There are a few tables inside and some outside as well.Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick, good, and inexpensive breakfast sandwich.“
“Delicious tasty sandwiches. A bit pricey, but good quality. Definitely recommend.Rich boy: reminds me of a shrimp po boy. Juicy crunchy shrimp with a punch of flavorPorchetta: reminds me of dinics roast pork sandwich in Philly with the broccoli rabe“
“The food & atmosphere is good but it's the service that makes this place great. My family and I visited the African American History Museum & we stopped by this coffee shop. The shop which is about 7 walking minutes from the Museum but our experience here jump-started the day.“
“One of the best options at Washington Union Station food fair. Service is fast and the food is full of flavor. They take special care of the presentation of the food and the freshness of the ingredients. You can tell from the first bite. The food fair's atmosphere is good. One of the best options at the Washington D.C. Union Station food fair. The service is very fast and the food is full of flavor. They take great care of the presentation and freshness of the ingredients. You can notice it from the first bite. The atmosphere of the fair is very good.“
“Overprice but it’s downtown DC what do you expect? Ignore all the reviews about bad attitudes. Everyone here has been nice to me and I’ve been coming for a year. Just some Boujee moody people coming in through that door. Stay blessed Pret !“
“This place has a side street cafe vibe, cause it’s a side street cafe! It was nice and quiet. They have an open kitchen which it’s always nice to see your food and the people preparing it.The food was nice, a bit pricey, but it is DC.The falafel warp was great, and tasted authentic. The French toast and pancakes were a hit with the wife and children.Overall it’s a good place to eat, if you’re in the middle of DC stop in!!!Vegetarian options: Falafel ? wrap“
“Service was great and didn't take too long with our orders. The staff was really patient with us picking our food. It was somewhat busy so we took a minute to find a spot. They have seats outside as well but it was too cold. Here's what we got there: * Chocolate Moelleux Cake - we loved it! On their website, they describe it as French version of a brownie. Spot on. This what I would expect it to taste like. It's not as sweet as an American brownie because of dark chocolate. * Napoleon - we've tried napoleon before but this one was different. The pastry wasn't as flaky, but that's not a bad thing. Custard was not too sweet, which balanced out well with the glaze on top.“
“I got a meeting time wrong and ended up in this area an hour early. It was freezing out and I found this cafe on google and came in to warm up, I didn't get a sandwich although they look amazing but it was such a nice little place to sit and kill time. I got a coffee and large smart water for $6, you don't see that too often“
“This is my favorite restaurants in the general area of the Washington Conversation Center, and best Potbelly I've ever been in. I am one of their "regulars", and they are consistently good. So I am not baseing this glowing review off of one good experience.Kid-friendliness: While they don't have a kids menu, of the downtown DC restaurants I've been in, I guarantee the staff will be as "kid friendly" as a place can be. Even when peak busy, it's calm enough not to add fuel to a kids energy level.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and restaurant on the same level surface. However, the doors are not motorized; but appear fairly light and nice big, easy to grasp, handles. There is no latch.“
“I need to go here more often. Super simple food counter with great breakfast sandwiches, lunch options coffee, etc. I stopped by the other day bc I went to Slipstream for coffee but their food choices were too foo-foo. I just wanted a regular bacon, egg, and cheese. Looked across the street, saw Atrium Cafe and immediately walked over. Went back the next day for a cheese steak. It was really good but a little small.“
“While touring DC, my cousin had a cheesesteak craving, and this place was within walking distance. It was around 3 PM on a Wednesday, and there was no one else inside. They had a lunch special - buy one sandwich, get one free. Unsure if it's worth it at full price, but it felt like a steal at half price. The Girard Ave and Classic Cheesesteak were filling and tasted like high-quality sandwiches. We also tried the Love Park Salad, which had an excess of mozzarella cheese but was otherwise quite good.“
“Long time customer of Cosi (10+ years). Stopped in to the 17th street location and happy to see Jacob is the manager there. Tried the new Falafel sandwich and it was great. Location is excellent for downtown people and tourists alike. Smaller location but clean. Staff very friendly. Cosi has always had great salads also. I miss the old 10th and E location but happy to see the DC pictures that line the walls of the 17th st location.“
“I work across the street and decided to try this place out for breakfast for the first time. I got the western omelette platter and it was HUGE, tons of sauteed veggies in it along with a side of potato and toast. The portion was VERY generous and everything tasted great! Definitely worth it!“
“We got delivery from Jetties for an office lunch. The box lunches are great because they come with so much in them for a good price. The one thing is that I always order a vegetarian option and the only vegetarian option of their box lunches is the worst vegetarian sandwich there is. Please offer a different vegetarian option it is literally so bad.“
“I forgot my lunch and had been hearing a lot about Phillips, so decided to take the walk. The line was actually less long than expected and told so I was excited about that and the food looks very fresh. I decided to get a turkey club added, bacon and dressed up how I wanted to with a side of kettle chips and a brookie. To my surprise, this was totaled to about $20. The price is outrageous, I probably won't be returning, unless I am treated or forget my lunch again and reach starvation however, it was a pretty good sandwich. I will give them that. The brookie was OK as well. - I'm glad I had my bottled water at my desk lol“
“The absolutely fabulous soup variety - the best taste and price combination as well as the service. Fantastic place where you can grab healthy salad, tasty wrap or sandwich or hot yummy soup - perfect quick lunch break !!! I truly recommend !“
“I love this place!! Food is homemade, authentic and delicious. A small Mom & Pop business that welcomes everyone with smiles. Help support them in the community by coming by and trying it for yourselfParking: Parking in front, side and street“
“Jetties..... what can I say about this place that is deserving of their excellent quality. I work at enterprise and this is my hands down number one go to spot IN Georgetown. The sandwich quality is beyond top tier..... I wish I could have included a picture but I honestly ate it waaay to fast. This is my favorite spot worthy of kings and queens alike Jetties.... you have a customer and fan for life!“
“We grabbed a quick lunch here during our trip to DC and were thoroughly impressed. The prices were very reasonable and upon signing up for their "rewards" program we got an 2 for 1 offer on sandwiches and after purchasing got another coupon for a free sandwich and one for a free cookie! A great inexpensive option if you are in the DC area - we'll definitely come back.“
“Hidden gem. Found this place a short walk from the nearby conference center. The fish sub price and quality were well worth the walk. Minimal seating, but service was great and fast. I only wish I had found it earlier since otherwise I would have come back every day.“
“I don't normally write reviews for chains but I'm writing one today because this Potbelly has the best service of any location I've visited. Even at the end of a long day, the crew was quick, professional, energetic and in good humor; the kind of excellence that takes intentionality and is too often hard to find. While everyone was great, in particular, I want to give a shout out to Keith, who when there was a small mistake in my order went above and beyond to make it right -- Potbelly is lucky to have him on staff, he's the kind of guy that will keep customers coming back to this location.“
“I had the kimchi burrito and it was absolutely genius and delicious. Kimchi fried rice in a burrito essentially and it was amazing. The business is Korean owned which always makes me happy. Both of the owners were incredibly sweet and kind. Basically, go give them your business. You'll be happy you went.“
“I used to go to Pret every day when I was studying abroad and I was very excited when they were in DC and the quality is the same all the food I have had so far has been phenomenal and the drinks are solid. As soon as my company did a return to office I bought a subscription and the staff had been so sweet I even sent my order to the wrong pret and they just gave me my order anyway. This place is a way better deal if this is near your commute definitely give it a shot and try their sandwiches and drinks!“
“These folks are on the ball. They move people through the coffee line with a friendly smile They kept up with spills and crumbs, restocking when needed. 6 people were behind the counter and everyone knew their job. Great teamwork. Thanks!!“
“This is my go to place for sandwiches and quick lunch items. The food is always fresh, prepared quickly, and I feel like the ingredients are solid and top-notch. I'm surprised at these lower rated reviews because I've never had an issue with jetties and I've been ordering from them for over 10 years .“
“My beautiful grandson is in the NICU at the Children’s Hospital. Today as my daughter, her husband and grandmother arrived they were greeted with a delicious box lunch from your establishment. We’re not sure of the organization that gifted us this lunch so we say THANK YOU!“
