“Atmosphere was depressing and service was average. Just buying some sandwhiches. The price was more than I expected I ordered 3 sandwhiches and a juice and it came out to 45$. Not insane considering prices these days but for how dumpy the place is I was hoping to walk out paying 35$ tops. That said, the King Street sandwich was fantastic. The Cali club was average but healthy portions. The food was ready when I arrived in 15 minutes and was still warm.I’d come back again for the king street sandwhich (pictured below) but otherwise not really worth the price IMO.If these came out to 10$ a piece with tax, this place would be outstanding.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. Just a run down sandwich shop.“
“This is the local sandwich shop/cafe for all of us that work in the area. They serve breakfast and lunch. I strongly recommend if you want a good sandwich because it's the only spot in Rosslyn that has a solid sandwich. My colleagues and I have been here many many times. It's not winning any food awards. However, the sandwiches are made fresh, tastes great, and priced just right. Strongly recommend if you work in the area or just visiting.“
“We visited the sandwich shop for a late lunch and fell in love with the place!! The sandwiches were amazing and they have such a great selection on their menu. We particularly enjoyed the chipotle chicken sandwich. We were able to call in our order for pickup and it was ready within 10 mins. The service was fast and the interior had plenty of seating and was very clean. Can’t wait to come back and try their KBBQ sandwich!“
“Our favorite spot in Ballston! Food is honestly a hit and the staff is the kindest I know. Decor is beautiful (flower installation across the ceiling). Great florist / gift section available. Sundays are great for $3 mimosas and an easy-going brunch. Honestly, a plain bagel with cream cheese there is my favorite (they respect the shmear) but I will also jump for the The Reuben, The Capicola, and their baby-arugula salad. Generous portions and delightful fair.“
“The office I work at loves to order here for luncheons. This time I tried one of their fan favorites the Sweet Thai Chili Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It was so so good. I was very impressed. It had the right amount of kick from the chili and crunch from the slaw. Next luncheon, I will prob order again thats just how good it was & on a warm brioche bun.“
“Mike’s is a nice spot. I stopped in to grab a bacon egg & cheese and a steak & egg sandwich. Service was quick & the ladies that work the grill was nice. My Steak sandwich was delicious, i gotta slide back thru there next time I’m in the area.“
“Yum!! Stopped in Friday afternoon and got the Korean Fried Chicken bowl with the garlic sauce and rice and it was delicious! Even the coleslaw it came with was good (and I'm not someone who usually likes coleslaw). Chicken was tender and flavorful while the rice was decent, really enjoyed the sauce that seeped into the rice from the chicken. The coleslaw is a mayo base and almost had a sweetness to it too. Service was good and speedy. You order at the counter and you have to watch the number ticker at the front for your number as they don't really call out your number. There are tables inside as well as outside and the overall establishment was clean.“
“I have been eyeing Earl's sign about fresh roasted turkey and today I gave it a try (delivery). I have to say that Earl's is a real gem!Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce: Just divine! Turkey is so tender that it is falling apart (like pulled chicken). Bread is whole grain, fresh, and nice mix of seeds.Garlic chicken sandwich with roasted peppers: my husband said it was really good.Vegetable sandwich (with balsamic vinegar or basil mayo): Excellent, chock full of mushrooms.Salad (with chicken): excellent. We particularly enjoyed the fresh apple slices (tasted like they had lemon juice). The dressing, though, was unexpected, only vinegar (no oil). We ended up using our ranch dressing we had on hand and sprinkled a little vinegar on top.So glad to have tried Earl's and we will definitely do it again (can't stop thinking about the turkey!).Update 3/3/24 We just finished our lunch of Mona Lisa (veggie) and Turkey and brie sandwiches and I am thinking of mine (turkey and brie). The best sandwich I have had (maybe ever). My husband really liked his Mona Lisa, too.“
“I work across the street and decided to try this place out for breakfast for the first time. I got the western omelette platter and it was HUGE, tons of sauteed veggies in it along with a side of potato and toast. The portion was VERY generous and everything tasted great! Definitely worth it!“
“I've tried quite a few restaurants in Washington DC but frankly S.S you’re the best, their sandwich and smoothie are just wow ❤️and the welcome and kindness of the staff is really to be commended. Try going there you weren't going to regret it?“
“Great customer service! We tried a few different sandwiches and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The burger and the BLT-ish were our favorites. The service was excellent! We had an issue placing our order online through the Inkind app, but the woman that helped us handled it quickly, asked questions to see how they could better handle Inkind orders for other customers in the future and was friendly and attentive. I meant to ask her name but forgot. She was working the evening of 3/9 at the register. That kind of service is extremely rare these days so it was refreshing and appreciated.“
“After tax and tip, breakfast for 3 was $89.... at a "take a number and seat yourself" coffee shop/bakery.... my other qualm was that on the website they have an "all day menu" but when we got there we were told they were only serving brunch. So all day menu but only on certain days? Maybe I misread. They forgot to bring our coffees when they said they would run it to us and they forgot our croissant with the food. But everyone that worked there was pretty friendly! And the place was really clean. I got the Cubano. It was okay. I understand why it was $20, I got a half a loaf of french bread with a pound of pork. It was ok. Menu advertised herb ham on it but it was more like a maple ham. Weird. Mom liked her brioche french toast, it was good. The lox on toast was okay. Kinda wish the toast was actually crispy. Its not bad but I have zero desire to return after spending almost $90 for breakfast. I get it this place is new so hopefully they round out some of these kinks. With how expensive it is I expect things to be a bit tighter.“
“My daughter & I visited this eatery on our trip to DC and absolutely loved everything about it! We got the chicken 1 sandwich & the Greek Goddess, along w/ tomato soup & quinoa chili, & lemonade! Everything was fresh & near perfect. And the owner was delightful to talk to. Wish we had something like this where we live!“
“A staple location for Vietnamese sandwiches. Amazing quality, generous portion, and extremely quick service. They have a Buy 10 Get the 11th one free” deal. Only down side is the high service fee if you choose to pay by card (35¢ per $10).“
“Good service and tasty food. My sandwich, the Seoul King, was a bit too rich. They dip the friend chicken in the sauce but I think that they should let it drain more. It was just too much. I have tried about every hot chicken place in the DC area and I think that this is a 3.5-4 compared to others. I will come back to try it again.“
“My go-to breakfast place when I'm in Arlington. They have many good options on their breakfast menu. They also will make your meal the way you like it by adding items that are not on the standard menu. They also have a wide variety of cold drinks and juices. The coffee is always good. They offer quality and good service.“
“Got a tofu banh mi with no Mayo and it was so good! The gentleman who took our order was so nice and let us know they have beef and chicken flavored tofu. We got ours no Mayo (vegan) on traditional bread and their pickled veggies and fresh cilantro made me such a happy person. I LOVE Eden Center for its variety, vegan and non-vegan alike! If you’re in the area, definitely stop here for not only a sandwich but so much more. (Also, keep in mind $10 minimum charge for cards!)“
“I discovered this amazing gem a few years ago while on my lunch break. The sandwiches were always fresh and served with a smile.Today I had the pleasure of meeting Chef John and was able to finally give my compliments to the chef in person. The entire staff is magnificent, Sunny and Ebony are so friendly. Come here if you want a great fresh sandwich.“
“Got a advertisement from these guys a few weeks ago, did a big move so I thought I'd finally give Mike's a call. I ended up ordering them 3 times within 5 days. Was this the healthiest thing, probably not, but if you're looking for some great pizza, look no further. Subs are good, but im more of a pizza guy. The price is great too, it's cheaper than any big chain and the food is much better. Thanks again, guys!“
“Reliable takeout option in Dupont. They're running operations out of Kramers, allowing you to grab a meal while browsing for your next book. The standout item is the fried chicken sandwich--thick, juicy, and a real tasty treat. The Feddy cheesesteak is also noteworthy, not to mention enormous. Both sandwiches provided a satisfying fill. The concept is from the folks behind Federalist Pig, so you're in capable hands. Bonus points for the name--maybe it's just me, but I have a ton of fun saying Fedwich. Fedwich. Fedwich!“
“Simple but freshly prepared and fast breakfast. A great spot on the way to work or a meeting with plenty of options. The line cook keeps folks moving efficiently and the woman running the front of the house is kind, warm, and makes a mean latte. Hidden gem in a busy neighborhood.“
“I came to get some breakfast while waiting for a family member to get done surgery at GW Hospital. It is about an 8 minute walk from the hospital.Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel sandwich was actually pretty good. There could’ve been more meat however it was really inexpensive which made it worth what I paid for. There are a few tables inside and some outside as well.Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick, good, and inexpensive breakfast sandwich.“
“Running errands and turned off 395 to make some phone calls. Pulled in to the parking lot and decided to try JJ's vice the Subway nearby. Glad I did. This was during COVID-19 era, so I ordered my sandwich, went out side to make some calls and 5-7 minutes later my Pannini was done. I believe I had the roast beef w/ bacon, but whatever it was - it was cooked just right and the veggies didn't overbear the sandwichs as is often the case. Would recommend: YES Would re-patronize: Maybe“
“BABY! This spot has some of the best sandwiches me and my boyfriend have had in a while. The young man at the register helped me pick my sandwich (the veggie pita) and it did not disappoint. Happy to have found this hidden gem in Crystal City.“
“Look at this amazing cookie! You know you want it! This mom and pop deli in the Woodburn medical building ground floor is always well stocked with snacks and drink. Their most popular bulgogi bowl is so delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Portion is big also. I finished it without taking a photo…outdoor seating is nice when the weather is good.“
“I was out for a walk and searched for 'food near me' on Google Maps. The Sub Stop was close with over 4 stars, so I decided to try it. I had the cold cut sub with fries. Decent size sib and good fries portion. Although overpriced at more than $15.00, the portions were good, and the service was excellent. The realistic price for these subs is $10-$12. Food prices in general for eat out places like this are 30% more than they should be IMO, but this place is above average because of portion sizes and the service. Another plus was the Old Bay seasoning available for the fries!“
“M2M is one of my favorite places to go on the Avenue. Simple but delicious food, and a huge selection of beers. I love to just grab a sandwich and a beer and enjoy lunch at a table outside. It's such a pleasant way to pass the time in beautiful Del Ray!“
“there are better subs out there in this wide world of ours, but j. mike's (as i like to call it) does a pretty good job. i always forget what "mike's way" is, though, and i kinda feel like a jerk when they have to explain it to me for like the 6th time“
“I recently visited your Subway location and had the pleasure of being served by Raymond. From the moment I entered the store, Raymond's warm greeting and genuine smile made me feel welcome.Throughout my visit, Raymond exhibited exceptional customer service skills. I would highly recommend Raymond to anyone visiting this Subway location, as he truly embodies the spirit of exceptional customer service.Thank you, Raymond, for your exceptional service and for making my visit to Subway a delightful one!“
“The place was not super crowded and there were still options available to take out. The atmosphere was not overwhelming and there were only a few people dining in. There were so many options left for sandwiches and different prices so it took me a long time to decide. So much food looked good. The cashier was quick and efficient in putting the food in a bag.“
“This is a lovely café. We happened to be staying at the Melrose which was literally a few doors away. We went to several cafés during our stay and this was our favorite. Delicious muffins & breakfast croissants. I think we went every morning.“
“I got a meeting time wrong and ended up in this area an hour early. It was freezing out and I found this cafe on google and came in to warm up, I didn't get a sandwich although they look amazing but it was such a nice little place to sit and kill time. I got a coffee and large smart water for $6, you don't see that too often“
“It's like a London store right in Washington, sandwiches taste like they were European, ment in good sense. Their bread is amazing and various fresh options just Pret A Manger = ready to eat. We enjoyed vegetarian and vegan sandwiches.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian and vegan sandwiches, fruit cups, fruity breakfast cups with granola.“
“I think I just found my favorite sandwich shop! Ordered a Bret’s turkey reuben with smoked turkey and kraut, perfect ratio of everything, and great portion size, most of all: wonderful taste with very reasonable price. Definitely going back to try the other sandwiches (a great variety to select from btw!).Parking: Plenty of free parking spots right in front of the store, super friendly/convenient for drivers“
“We grabbed a quick lunch here during our trip to DC and were thoroughly impressed. The prices were very reasonable and upon signing up for their "rewards" program we got an 2 for 1 offer on sandwiches and after purchasing got another coupon for a free sandwich and one for a free cookie! A great inexpensive option if you are in the DC area - we'll definitely come back.“
“I only recommend eating there because the food was good. However now since the takeout of real meat and replaced with lab grown meat I won’t be returning. I don’t consider it food for the Hueman!.Parking: Inside of Pentagon City Mall precisely“
“First thing you will notice is how clean these folks keep this place! I stopped in on the Monday after the 4th of July and they were open. I gave them an order for 18 - 6" subs and chips, after a few questions on bread, condiments and cheese, they got started. I was out the door in 15 min... awesome job if you ask me! Ram and Debbie did a great job, no complaints about last minute or why didn't I call ahead... they just dug in and got the job done! Even found a box for me to use to carry my order in. Parking was easy, just outside around the corner, they were open early, got that info off the Yelp app. They did such a good job I downloaded the Subway app so I can use that the next time I have a big order. Good food, great service in a clean environment and at a fair price!“
“Subway is a go to staple of mine. Today due to many factors I needed to buy lunch and was on 123. I saw this subway and pulled in. First off they greeted me as I entered. Nice touch. The store was adequately staffed and turning sandwiches fast. Everyone was friendly and professional. I ordered the subway club which is thankfully back on the menu. When I started eating my sandwich the first thing I noticed was the roll. This was much better then any subway I have been to. The roll had a nice crust and was soft and fluffy on the inside like it should be. All the ingredients tasted fresh and I have never been happier with a sandwich from subway in all the years I have been going (20+) Great crew at this location.“
“Love this place for lunch. They open early at 6 am and close by 2pm. They have lots of options from salads, sandwiches, wings, gyros, breakfast, and bahn mi. Recommend. I like their bahn mi, Philly steak sandwich, wings and fries, salmon salad, and avocobbo salad“
“I've been a Subway lover for many years and even worked as a young man there. Truthfully they have failed. No more relish peppers, no seafood choices,no chicken salad. Jersey Mike's was a breath of fresh air. Tasty bread, fresh cut meat and cheese, fresh veggies. So in turn a quality sub with cherry pepper relish! Extra meat(pause) is worth the price. Great staff fast service. Subway is dead!“
“Jetties..... what can I say about this place that is deserving of their excellent quality. I work at enterprise and this is my hands down number one go to spot IN Georgetown. The sandwich quality is beyond top tier..... I wish I could have included a picture but I honestly ate it waaay to fast. This is my favorite spot worthy of kings and queens alike Jetties.... you have a customer and fan for life!“
“Cute little place that serves hot food, salads, and ice cream. I stopped by on a whim to try their strawberry and vanilla ice cream and loved them! I picked up a double scoop of each to bring home and still have a little left to enjoy later. It's really good, in my opinion: not too sweet for my tastes. I'd go again for more. The interior is nicely set up: tables for dining in, some outside, cookies (which I'd love to try another time) at the counter, a kiosk by the wall... easy layout that feels inviting. Not much else to say about Jetties, as I really only came in for a few moments and specifically wanted to try the ice cream, which I can now recommend. Give this place a try!5/5 stars (based off ice cream).Parking: Depending on the time/day, there is either free or paid street parking along Connecticut Ave, where Jetties is located. Check the signs and meters.“
“I've been to this location several times, it's clean and convenient with great parking availability. Last time I went, the two staff making sandwiches were a little grumpy, so it was a while until I returned. But today, Sandra made my experience terrific, I appreciate her attention and her friendliness. I will definitely come back here.“
“Long time customer of Cosi (10+ years). Stopped in to the 17th street location and happy to see Jacob is the manager there. Tried the new Falafel sandwich and it was great. Location is excellent for downtown people and tourists alike. Smaller location but clean. Staff very friendly. Cosi has always had great salads also. I miss the old 10th and E location but happy to see the DC pictures that line the walls of the 17th st location.“
“WOW, Jerseylicious!!!!!! Best cheesesteak I've ever had!!!!!!! Young tall man with brown hair was a great help and greatly imrpoved the already TERRIFIC atmosphere. NOT TO MENTION the terrific Cream Soda. I will be here everyday. My trip to Jersey Mikes was simply a revelation. Goodbye Jimmy John's hahahahahah.“
“We got delivery from Jetties for an office lunch. The box lunches are great because they come with so much in them for a good price. The one thing is that I always order a vegetarian option and the only vegetarian option of their box lunches is the worst vegetarian sandwich there is. Please offer a different vegetarian option it is literally so bad.“
“Beautiful interior. You place your order on the self-service CRTs. Staff looks hard at work behind the counter, but one of them took the time to help an elderly woman place her special order. That was nice to see! The Washing Pond Salad was delicious with string beans, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sliced boiled eggs, and tuna flakes in a Dijon vinaigrette dressing. The Clark’s Cove Sandwich was tasty with Turkey meat, coleslaw, American Cheese and Thousand Island Dressing. The hours are simple to remember, M-F 10:30 am til 6pm and Sat/Sun 8am til 3pm.“
“Paul French Bakery & Cafe is an incredibly popular and amazing place in Tysons Galleria with truly fantastic foods and beverages! They take great care in crafting high quality menu items that are presented and served beautifully. They have a high volume of business which shows that they are knowledgable about attracting and keeping their customers. Paul French Bakery & Cafe is a tremendous asset to the upscale Tysons Galleria Mall and is an awesome place to eat a healthy, nourishing meal or a hot coffee paired with a tasty dessert or pastry!“
