“5 stars for food for the following reasons: unlike other carryouts, the fried rice was actually cooked all they way through, no hard bits in the middle of each grain. General Tso here was actual chicken! not dough balls wrapped with chicken and deep fried. The spring roll was great, seasoned well, with more than just salt and pepper. I can't wait to try there chicken and black bean, with an egg roll next time!“

“The food was really good and I enjoyed my meal. However, I was uncomfortable seeing the delivery person scratch her butt immediately before handing me my food. I understand accidents happen, but I felt this was a hygiene concern and wanted to mention it... and it pains me because the food was really good butt.. “This is definitely my new go-to Chinese spot.
I submitted a large take out for my brothers birthday dinner and knew this spot was fire when they called to ask for clarification for my order. We ordered a two general tso chicken combination platter with fried rice, mei fun (thin noodles) with shrimp and also another one with chicken, general tso tofu combination platter and additional sides (fries + vegetable fried rice). I personally ate the chicken mei fun and the food was so good I forgot to get a picture. It was so flavorful and addicting. I added a bit of their chili oil on top and it was the perfect level of spicy that complimented my food. I spent about $108 for all our food which isn’t bad to serve 7 people.
I really like this spot and imma come back and try other items.“

“What a fantastic restaurant this is! Visiting from Chicago and this is a great venue! Upbeat and stylish are the keys to this establishment. Jai Jai was an awesome server explaining all the details of what the restaurant offers! Everything came out timely, piping hot and tasty! Definitely worth another visit if we are in DC. Tried the signature Pork chop fried rice, braised beef ramen and the dumpling sampler. And ended with the other signature dessert, cheesecake topped with fortune cookies and crumbs. Must try if you are in the area!“

“We've been eating here for over 20 years and it has always been good. It is recently under new management and the way some items are prepared has changed, but still very tasty -- just a new twist on an old favorite. The one thing the new management needs is someone who knows their way around a bar. The people there this week had a very limited range of knowledge about drinks (gin on the rocks got a blank look), but once you explained they happily made a very acceptable drink.“

“It’s the perfect little hole in the wall. The owner was so sweet and lovely (she calls everyone sweetheart), and the food was fresh and packed with flavor. It’s also very reasonably priced. Less than ten bucks for all lunch specials, and you get the perfect amount of food. If you’re in Bowie, give this spot a try!“

“Food and atmosphere are very good. I just would’ve preferred slightly larger portions on the malaxiangguo. I choose the build your own one and paid an $8 up charge to add beef and I saw about 4 small pieces in the entire stir fry. Overall, food was delicious. 4.5 stars.“

“Pleasantly surprised small quaint neighborhood restaurant.. food was very good chicken satay great except for the peanut sauce (a little runny) pad Thai was fantastic and green tea cheesecake was delicious..I took off 1 star for the peanut sauce and the service.. wish they were more attentive.. overall I would eat here again.“

I feel like you could bring friends and family to this restaurant and just have shareable as the plate seem pretty large. I did bring my six month old baby and our stroller which I wouldn’t do again lol it’s pretty tight in there, but it was still enjoyable. They have a lot of fun drinks that atmosphere feels really cool when you go after 4:00 PM. The staff is really nice and I can tell each item you order is being made fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. I will say the restaurant was busy inside and out and like I said it’s pretty small so they were moving as fast as they could and I wasn’t in a rush. At first, I thought this was going to be fast casual, but it’s really like a cocktail bar with really yummy food. Giving you still that restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be in College Park so happy I found it. Definitely get the fried dumplings. They were out of this world. And technically I ordered the dish that’s called spicy pork broth, but I didn’t get it spicy because I shared it with my six month old who also absolutely loved it.
I also got two drinks. They were delicious cocktails I got one called Berry Bizz (which is a sweet high ball drink), and the one pictured which is technically called citrus something but instead of orange juice, I asked them to fill it up with cranberry juice. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t bring more than one baby lol, I wouldn’t bring a stroller, and I would definitely use this as a fun cocktail night for a date night, with your bestie, or with your family. Also, my bill was high, but if you remove my drinks, you could go there and technically spend $10-$20.“

“This is the only Chinese food we get in DC! Every time we order take out we try to get something new to try their large menu. Some of our favorites include egg rolls, Szechuan chicken (pictured- tastes way better than it looks), dry braised chicken, double cooked pork, and steamed dumpling in red sauce. Everything is delicious!“

“Most everything I get from here is good. Even the sushi rolls are decent. Prices are very reasonable even though they should update their menu to reflect the new prices. They have gone up at least $1 on everything, but you don't know until your total doesn't add up correctly. I'd suggest that they tape 1 menu with new pricing to the counter so people know what they're paying. The ladies are nice, food is always tasty and hot. Not the first place I would think of to dine in. Even though it's always clean, the setup is outdated and is more of cafeteria style than restaurant.“

“These wings got crack in em. The gravy is 🔥. They were even nice enough to wrap the gravy covered rice and aluminum foil for my trip home. Best mumbo sauce in town. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR UNATTENDED!!! Thank me later!

“Friendly staff and fast service! I ordered and walked across the street to buy a 6 pack of beer. By the time I got back my two combo dishes were ready and packed for me. The portion for the Singapore noodle were generous with proteins. The General Tso's is also good.

“My new neighborhood go to place for Chinese food. I've been looking for a place since Tsim Yung closed on 12th Street a while back. I'm not a Chinese food connoisseur but this meets my test for good weekend comfort food with reasonable prices and good portions. Location is sketchy but the kitchen area looks remarkable clean and open for a fast food joint. Ordered pork fried rice twice and added Szechuan Beef on the second trip. They didn't disappoint. Would definitely recommend. Staff is friendly and efficient.“

The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.
Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“

“I've been coming here for about three years, and I can honestly say this has been one of the most consistent and reliable restaurants in the area. The food is always delicious, the portions are great, and our orders are always correct.
My personal favorites are the pork fried rice and the crab rangoons, both are amazing. My kids love the lo mein. No matter what we order, the quality is always top-notch.
As my family prepares to move away from the area, I wanted to take a moment to thank the staff for all the great meals and excellent service over the years. It's hard to find a restaurant that stays this consistent, and they've done it every single time. “I ordered on UberEats yesterday after seeing a TikTok review on them. 10/10 would recommend. I ordered 4wings with mumbo sauce, shrimp egg roll, and shrimp and broccoli. Everything was bomb. Best mumbo sauce in the city hands down. I could tell by the color it was going to be fire! Wings were seasoned and good. Shrimp and broccoli was torch. Shrimp egg roll actually had a nice amount of shrimp. Everything was so goood. Only carry out I’m going to from now on.“

“This restaurant is so so. The waiter was not as assuring, as I would have hoped. The area is a little Janky, so it’s kinda hard to focus on the quality of their environment in the food. In addition, the waiter did not give me assurance of what I was looking for it was only focusing on what was popular instead of what I actually like and or wanted it. The food I ate was enough to satisfy me where I felt full, but it didn’t make me want to eat more or come back.“

“I wanted to share my thoughts on the food and service at ST⭐️R carryout is A1. Overall, I have to say that I love it. The quality of the food and the level of service are exceptional. However, I do have some concerns about the location. It seems to be a bit inconsistent. Some days it's great, but other times I find myself hesitating to go there. I think it's something worth considering.“
