Their mumbo sauce always hits and has never changed. They do charge for extra for sauce but can’t even be mad about that because big chains are doing it too. It’s always the same lady that’s there and she even remembers my order.“

“Absolutely delicious food! I first came here six years ago for my husband’s birthday after hearing about the restaurant from a foodie. It’s an unpretentious spot with incredibly good food. We ordered 10+ different dishes that first time and loved everything, especially the dan dan noodles and the pork bun. Nothing can ever compare to their Dan Dan noodles no matter how many times we order them from different restaurants!

We moved far away after a few years, but when we came back to visit friends this month, this was the first restaurant we wanted to return to. The food was just as delicious as it was six years ago. Highly recommend!“

It is recently under new management and the way some items are prepared has changed, but still very tasty -- just a new twist on an old favorite. The only thing to be modified is the time it took to take drink orders and the order of food delivery (the preference is for appetizers to come out before the meal but asking the customer if all is desired together is good).

The venue is spacious, the light is well balanced and it has nice music playing juat enough to set the scene for authentic cuisine. We will definitely be back when we return to DC.“

So as I was at a stop light, I quickly googled the closest open spot, and China America Inn was the 1st in line. I didn't even know this place was a place! And it's close to home too!! It's not a party place, so table seating is limited, BUT the food is so good you will want to take it home and devour it in your own comfort where you can relax afterward. I ordered 2 seafood soups, general tso, and buffalo wings. The man who took my order was super nice and informative about other options available. My mom LOVES the seafood soup!! the general tso was fantastic, well cooked and not hard, just like I want it. The wings were very flavorful as well. Thank you for making my mom happy!! Plus chef can cook really good, mostly tried chicken specials, good seasoning and texture, appetizers, Chinese food, great for feeding a family of four or more which is great. Also do not forget to show your coupon before you order they honor it.“

The rice noodles were very good and the wonton soup was alright. The gen tsos was as expected (good) and the fried rice was pretty good. I will definitely be coming back and getting more.
