“It’s a takeout restaurant with no seating. The ordering area is clean and well lit.
The customer service is really really good. They talk to you respectfully on the phone, which I really appreciate.
I ordered shrimp and broccoli as well as orange chicken and I really liked both. The shrimp are big and juicy and they give you a good portion. The broccoli is crisp and fresh, I actually ordered twice in a week. The fried rice is okay, I’ll ask for eggs and veggies in it next time.
They also have decent prices!!
I’m very picky when it comes to Chinese food, and they are yet to disappoint me.
I will definitely be back.

“Beijing Delight, located at 8646 Flower Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912, is a great spot for delicious food. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food here is absolutely tasty! I ordered the large chicken lo mein, and it was a generous portion packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, especially for the price. Definitely a great value—I’ll be coming back again for more!“

“I was very impressed by the service. I tried the green beans based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. The Orange rabbit was not bad but did not have much flavor in my opinion. Much less than I expected. Our server recommended the Daikon Fritters and those were very good and very filling as well. Overall I would come here again. definitely a nice intimate spot for a date.“

“This place is great! I got the spicy beef noodle soup and my wife got the scallop and pork soup dumplings and pan-friend pork buns and everything was very much to our liking. The broth was good, the pork buns were perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and qq on the inside, and the soup dumplings were CRAZY savory. I have no idea how they got the dumplings to be a punch of umami, but they did it!
The prices weren't crazy and the service was attentive but not overbearing. We also got the classic milk tea with boba and a mango-pineapple refresher and those were both good as well, though the food I think was better. Also, the menu recommended 50% sweet but we thought that even the 75% wasn't too sweet and the 50% on my refresher felt a little low.“

“Food is great, easily one of the best dumplings I've tried in my life. Everything is flavorful and really good. I like it so much that I drive there over 40 mins to eat with friends from time to time. The first few visits I had some issues with the service but it seems to be improving.“

“Our food didn't take long to arrive, when we got it is was extremely delicious, they were very welcoming and kind to our big group of people and I would love to visit again in the future(I don't live in this state). I ordered the shrimp Tempura and the Strawberry boba and it was delicious, everyone else also had positive things to say about their meals. “Keeping in mind that I'm no expert in Chinese food AND so, I can only compare apples to apples, it's a decent restaurant. I have to say that it is definitely a lot more tasty than many other Chinese restaurants in the area. The veggies are not frozen or canned, there was real freshness to them. The guy at the counter was nice and friendly. Overall a good experience and plan to return.“

“Lots of options and everything was delicious! The seating felt a little compact, but the food was amazing! There are a lot of contrasting flavors in all the dishes. Very authentic flavors and quite spicy. The chicken all came out flavorful, and the beef was very soft. The dumplings were also very delicious and juicy!
Definitely recommend this place for any families in the area who would love a hot meal with tea!! 😋🍚“

“This is definitely my new go-to Chinese spot.
I submitted a large take out for my brothers birthday dinner and knew this spot was fire when they called to ask for clarification for my order. We ordered a two general tso chicken combination platter with fried rice, mei fun (thin noodles) with shrimp and also another one with chicken, general tso tofu combination platter and additional sides (fries + vegetable fried rice). I personally ate the chicken mei fun and the food was so good I forgot to get a picture. It was so flavorful and addicting. I added a bit of their chili oil on top and it was the perfect level of spicy that complimented my food. I spent about $108 for all our food which isn’t bad to serve 7 people.

“We know about this restaurant for many years but never went there because I usually don’t eat only vegetables, however seeing that the restaurant still operates after so many years I think it must be ok. We went on a Saturday evening for the first time and was surprised to see many people there, the service was quick and the food was very good. I recommend it.“

“Yummy food - don't consider the 4 star rating. Locals have their lunch here which is always a good sign. The wonton soup was delicious and steaming hot, the sesame balls great and the kids loved their crispy spring rolls. They do serve everything on disposable plates/cutlery which have earned them a few 1 star reviews. But the food was great - and inexpensive.“

“Fantastic business lunch at NiHao! Had a group of four and we were thoroughly impressed by both the food and the efficiency. Every dish we ordered - from the salt and pepper shrimp to the beef chow fun - was fresh, full of flavor, and enough for leftovers. It is great to find a lunch spot that is quick, and reasonably priced.
Our waiter, Scott made the experience seamless. He was on top of everything, guiding us through the menu, keeping our water filled, and clearing dishes quickly so we could focus on our meeting - we were worried that we ordered too much but Scott told us that his mom says “If you go to a Chinese restaurant and don’t have leftovers, you didn’t order enough”. We will be back!“

“The food is truly delicious and the portions are quite generous. Their vegetable spring rolls are the freshest and most delicious. Cucumber and garlic salad is definitely the best. Vegetable lo mein is super delicious. Their szechuan chicken and red peppers is very spicy but delicious. Beef sechuan very delicious. The service is professional, fast, and friendly. Emma was our hostess, she is extremely good, courteous, professional, and sweet. The place is nice, clean, but not fancy. .Most of the customers are Asians, proof it is very good. I feel like you could bring friends and family to this restaurant and just have shareable as the plate seem pretty large. I did bring my six month old baby and our stroller which I wouldn’t do again lol it’s pretty tight in there, but it was still enjoyable. They have a lot of fun drinks that atmosphere feels really cool when you go after 4:00 PM. The staff is really nice and I can tell each item you order is being made fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. I will say the restaurant was busy inside and out and like I said it’s pretty small so they were moving as fast as they could and I wasn’t in a rush. At first, I thought this was going to be fast casual, but it’s really like a cocktail bar with really yummy food. Giving you still that restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be in College Park so happy I found it. Definitely get the fried dumplings. They were out of this world. And technically I ordered the dish that’s called spicy pork broth, but I didn’t get it spicy because I shared it with my six month old who also absolutely loved it.
I also got two drinks. They were delicious cocktails I got one called Berry Bizz (which is a sweet high ball drink), and the one pictured which is technically called citrus something but instead of orange juice, I asked them to fill it up with cranberry juice. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t bring more than one baby lol, I wouldn’t bring a stroller, and I would definitely use this as a fun cocktail night for a date night, with your bestie, or with your family. Also, my bill was high, but if you remove my drinks, you could go there and technically spend $10-$20.“

“We've been eating here for over 20 years and it has always been good. It is recently under new management and the way some items are prepared has changed, but still very tasty -- just a new twist on an old favorite. The one thing the new management needs is someone who knows their way around a bar. The people there this week had a very limited range of knowledge about drinks (gin on the rocks got a blank look), but once you explained they happily made a very acceptable drink.“

“I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and authenticity of some of the classic dimsum dishes such as the shrimp dumpling and charngfun. We ordered about 25 small plates between 3 people (including desert) and we were stuffed! Some items tasted a bit too experimental and did not satisfy the classic Cantonese flavor profile that I’m used to. Some were really good! I grew up eating authentic Cantonese dim sum in Los Angeles and have tried amazing eating dim sum in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. In the DMV area, we have limited dim sum options - so this place will do when I crave dim sum! The service and atmosphere were really nice. Total rating is 4.5 stars.“

On numerous visits back home, I've patronized Foong Lin with high school buddies--and it always delivers the goods. “First time visiting Wonder Cleveland Park as a tourist, and I wasn’t sure what to expect or how to order. John was really helpful and walked us through the different menus and the self-ordering setup. I liked that you can order from multiple restaurants all in one place, which makes it perfect for indecisive groups or people who all want different things. One person can get a salad, another can get a burger, and someone else can grab pizza, all in the same order. We tried the lime salt and Royal Greens, and it was a great experience overall.“

“We’ve had a hard time finding a go to Chinese restaurant in the area. We’ve ordered from here a few times, most recently moo goo gai pan and triple delight. Food was cooked to perfection (meat was tender, veggies were both soft & crispy), but lacks some of the typical Chinese veggies like water chestnuts and baby corn. Good balance of vegetables and meat, large portions.“
