“This is definitely my new go-to Chinese spot.

I submitted a large take out for my brothers birthday dinner and knew this spot was fire when they called to ask for clarification for my order. We ordered a two general tso chicken combination platter with fried rice, mei fun (thin noodles) with shrimp and also another one with chicken, general tso tofu combination platter and additional sides (fries + vegetable fried rice). I personally ate the chicken mei fun and the food was so good I forgot to get a picture. It was so flavorful and addicting. I added a bit of their chili oil on top and it was the perfect level of spicy that complimented my food. I spent about $108 for all our food which isn’t bad to serve 7 people.

I really like this spot and imma come back and try other items.“

“Their spring rolls are so crunchy and flaky you can taste the freshness and pairs nicely with the shrimp and broccoli. Their food has that signature carry out taste you crave and not everyone gets right. The food is always hot and you can taste the good quality. This is also the only place I’ve seen that has the cutest mini shop inside where you can get adorable collectibles.“

“We love this spot - our local go-to for Chinese! It’s not our number 1 choice for Thai, but the Thai food is also very good (I love the drunken noodles). The family who runs it is always very sweet and we’ve never had an issue after going there for years 😄“

“This is a takeout place. I ordered delivery, which was expensive. With delivery fee, convenience fee, tax, and tip, the cost was more than double for the food.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered two lunches. You get a choice of appetizers. The wonton soup is much tastier than at most restaurants. The egg roll was pretty good.
I ordered shrimp with vegetables, which comes in a white sauce. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were crisp. For under $3 extra, you can get plain lo mein instead of rice. It was tasty.
I also ordered Szechuan pork. It's supposed to be spicy. I found it mildly spicy. It comes with broccoli, carrots, and onions. They give you plenty of pork, and the sauce has a nice flavor.
I will get their food again, but not with delivery.“

“In the area for work. When I initially parked, I couldn't quite tell if the restaurant was open/still in business.
I dined in for dinner. Atmosphere was fine but there was a fish smell.
Staff was friendly.
I had the Chicken Chow Fun which was very good.

“We love Lees Kitchen and have been coming here since it was a sit down restaurant! The original family is still there, making excellent dishes of all varieties. The egg rolls and soups are always great. We love the general tsos, Peking pork, lo mein, bbq roast pork, egg foo Young, beef n broccoli, sweet and sour anything but pork is our fave and so many other dishes. They always have special daily/weekly dishes available. Honestly everything is good. Every time I worry about trying a new dish (my own issue), I at least like it, which is not the case at other places, and often i really like or love them. They take care in their food and it shows in the taste!“

“I love the basil curry chicken here! The flavors were rich and creamy with just the right level of spice. The curry had a deep, slightly sweet coconut base that paired with the tender, juicy chicken. The fresh basil added a fragrant, slightly peppery kick that elevated the whole dish.“

“We arrived at 11am on a weekend and there was no line outside the restaurant. The restaurant was quite comfortable and they did not have a lot of ‘dimsum kart’ in the restaurant so it might take some time for you to get the food. The selection of food was of a limited range - which was quite disappointing. The quality of food was fine - not the best dimsum but fair enough. The price was also quite cheap compared to the other similar restaurants in the region.“

“I am a normal customer and I do both deliveries and pick up orders from the store, I've been coming to this place since the last owners, however, the little Hispanic girl is really rude and has a nasty attitude, she needs to learn her manners! As for the Hispanic boy, I never have a problem with him, he is always helpful and fixes any of the mistakes, if the food comes out undercooked and I ask him to refry it, they will! I once came in, and the little girl took my order, she either 1) packed it with the wrong items or 2) put in the wrong order. The boy on the other hand, he is very helpful, but if the store is very busy, usually on Friday Afternoons and Saturday Afternoons, he may be rude and decline to fix the order, which makes sense, since it's very busy. If it's another day or a slow day, he will be very helpful! The food is delicious! I've tried the sesame chicken, steamed dumplings and the chicken wings and fried rice! THESE ARE THE BEST YOU WILL FIND IN THE AREA, THE MUMBO SAUCE IS THE BEST! The food here is at a reasonable price! Do beware though, if you want extra sauce, you do need to pay for it, so always bring spare change, they do have a card minimum! So bring Cash And Card!

Vegetarian options: They do offered just offer the normal food without meat for about $2-3 less“

“These guys are the absolute best. I can remember eating at their other (pre-pandemic) location from the time I was a child. In 20+ years, the quality of the food hasn’t changed. Chicken on a stick!

All of the bad reviews are from people who had their food mishandled by Uber Eats/Doordash.“

“I only order online. Apparently they have a rude counter person. I have no idea what it's like inside --- never have set set foot in it. Anyway, food is always great, always hot, always quick, price is great --- my regular Chinese take out place!“

Singapore Rice Noodles (without pork) and it tasted heavenly. It was amazing. Very well seasoned. The pork makes it taste different from what I recall, and it isn't my preferred way to eat it.

Shrimp w/ brocolli: amazing! Wish it had more shrimp, but the flavor is there. Pair it with some seafood fried rice and it is a slap.

Seafood Fried Rice: overall one of my favorite fried rice dishes in the wheaton-glenmont and aspenhill areas. Very well balances. When paired with the Shrimp & Broccoli it shines.

Beef & Stick: Unique beef sticks, I really enjoy it with my sister. The taste isn't exaggerated but its a hit or miss for everyone. Surefire hit for me though.“

“I've patronized this place on and off over the years but have come to realize it is in fact one of the best Chinese carryout places in the area, not much room to sit and dine but then normally people take out anyways, but I would definitely say that the food is delicious the employees are very nice“

“Spring Garden has been our neighborhood go-to out of many Asian options for years - for carry out and delivery. The food is reliably *delicious* and, most important, they almost always get the order packed completely right. Not a small thing!

There is an eat-in space with tables and booths for probably a few dozen people, as well as a sushi bar that seats about 8 people. While not a white tablecloth spot, this is no stale, noisy carryout. Their nice quality decor with art and music definitely qualifies their environment as an eat-in location in my book. Good neighbors and reliable quality. Enjoy!“

“I got the Shrimp and Broccoli and Orange Chicken, and both were spot on. The shrimp were super fresh, the broccoli had the perfect crunch, and the sauce was delicious. The Orange Chicken was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Big portions, good prices, and really friendly service. Definitely coming back!“

“The best Chinese food in Maryland. Their chicken corn soup is amazing with some of their chili vinegar on the tables, don’t miss out on the soup as a starter. You could literally pick any random item and get it with your choice of fried rice variant as a side and you’d be happy no matter what.“
