“Our waiter, Caleb, was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the dishes were interesting and unique. We were a party of 7, sat outside and really enjoyed ourselves. The pacing of all the dishes coming out was perfect. The only downside was that there was a man with a really large dog seated right next to us and the dog barked and whined (so loudly we could not hear each other) and it smacked into our chairs repeatedly. Once the man left things improved and we had a great experience.“

The cook (who was the only one working there as you can order with the ipad) was nice and the place was clean and cozy. We went at an off-peak time so we were able to sit at the counter but I imagine that during lunch rush it must mostly be for takeout as there are few seats. Also I don't think they had a bathroom as I looked around for one and didn't see it. It wasn't an emergency situation though so did not ask to use one.“

That hotpot was smokin and I thought I choose a milder one but it was excellent in taste for me. The food was delicious, bubble tea flavors and pearls were fresh and simple. I would say it leans more toward an America flavor pallet depending on your selection but Im sure there are some sophisticated options if that's where your pallet tends to lean.

I got the chai latte light sugar&ice and my hubby greatly enjoyed Starla's PineappleMango suggestion. So yummy, so fun.

I love the bright decor and semi-exclusive dining options; certainly would love to meet the family here during an outing.

The bathroom was super clean and had a large mirror great for freshening up.

Certainly would recommend for DC visitors.

I got the Lucky dumpling back. Personal favorite of the bunch was the black Truffle so I know next visit which basket I'll lean more toward.

I ordered the veggie lo mein (lunch) I didn’t expect it to be so small and shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce with would the normal lunch size. The flavors were there, but could be spicer. It was piping hot when I got it! And I got 2 veggie eggrolls with were great!! Great customer service! And they speak English!“

“Randomly stumbled upon this place after looking for a spot to eat in Georgetown and it was delicious! We came from out of town and have to say this is one of the best meals we had on the trip. “Excellent, efficient and clean establishment. Food was ready when I walked in to pick it up at 10-15 min after I placed the order. The Tejas BBQ brisket taste was fantastic. The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).“

“Absolutely delicious food! I first came here six years ago for my husband’s birthday after hearing about the restaurant from a foodie. It’s an unpretentious spot with incredibly good food. We ordered 10+ different dishes that first time and loved everything, especially the dan dan noodles and the pork bun. Nothing can ever compare to their Dan Dan noodles no matter how many times we order them from different restaurants!

We moved far away after a few years, but when we came back to visit friends this month, this was the first restaurant we wanted to return to. The food was just as delicious as it was six years ago. Highly recommend!“

On numerous visits back home, I've patronized Foong Lin with high school buddies--and it always delivers the goods. “This is a nice reminder of what authentic Chinese food taste like. We tried slices beef with peppers, spring rolls, egg drop soup, and chicken fried rice. Everything was piping hot and well flavored.

The only thing to be modified is the time it took to take drink orders and the order of food delivery (the preference is for appetizers to come out before the meal but asking the customer if all is desired together is good).

The venue is spacious, the light is well balanced and it has nice music playing juat enough to set the scene for authentic cuisine. We will definitely be back when we return to DC.“

“First time visiting Wonder Cleveland Park as a tourist, and I wasn’t sure what to expect or how to order. John was really helpful and walked us through the different menus and the self-ordering setup. I liked that you can order from multiple restaurants all in one place, which makes it perfect for indecisive groups or people who all want different things. One person can get a salad, another can get a burger, and someone else can grab pizza, all in the same order. We tried the lime salt and Royal Greens, and it was a great experience overall.“

The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

If you’re looking for a fast and reliable spot for Chinese food, this is one of the best options on Columbia Pike and in the Arlington area. There may be better Chinese restaurants outside Arlington, but for the area, this place is definitely worth checking out.“
