“Most everything I get from here is good. Even the sushi rolls are decent. Prices are very reasonable even though they should update their menu to reflect the new prices. They have gone up at least $1 on everything, but you don't know until your total doesn't add up correctly. I'd suggest that they tape 1 menu with new pricing to the counter so people know what they're paying. The ladies are nice, food is always tasty and hot. Not the first place I would think of to dine in. Even though it's always clean, the setup is outdated and is more of cafeteria style than restaurant.“

“I came to visit all the way from San Diego. Eating the food at this place reminded me of what I was missing in San Diego. On the East Coast Chinese food is the best!. In California Mexican Food is the best!. I ordered the fried fish with fried rice and the shrimp basket with french fries. Both were delicious! I’m gonna miss the food when I return to California. And I ordered 2 Rock Creek Peach flavored soda. They don’t have Rock Creek beverages in California. So sad“

“Went here with my girlfriend and got :- 6 fried 6 steamed dumplings- general tso’s- fried rice- rice noodles- wonton soupI can easily say it was the best dumplings I have ever had. The rice noodles were very good and the wonton soup was alright. The gen tsos was as expected (good) and the fried rice was pretty good. I will definitely be coming back and getting more. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for great Chinese food. Also the service was awesome, they seem like great people.“

We had an incredible dining experience here and sat at the chef's counter, which provided a fantastic view of the kitchen performing their craft. The entire operation is organized, smooth, and highly impressive to watch.
The food and drinks were outstanding:
• Duck Drunken Noodles: Perfectly spiced! The heat provided a beautiful warmth that highlighted the flavors rather than just kicking your butt for the sake of being spicy.
• Ginger Dumplings: Absolutely delicious.
• Plum Boulevardier: A lovely, well-crafted cocktail.
• Lychee Martini: My friend ordered this and completely loved it.
The service really made the night. All of the servers were welcoming and knowledgeable, creating a wonderful dining atmosphere. We were especially blessed to be taken care of by Eli and Monica. They were wonderful hosts who were incredibly complimentary to both myself and my companion.
Even the smaller details were great—the restrooms are single units that provide plenty of privacy, featuring a sleek black decor that is exceptionally well-maintained.

“I've only ever had great experiences here. By myself, with friends, on a date, dine-in, takeout, delivery, everything's been great and consistently so. Food and drinks are always prepared within reasonable time-frame and staff are incredibly pleasant, making sure you're taken care of without rushing.

It's a very clean and comfortable space--simple and welcoming, and there are lots of ways to order inside (kiosk, counter, through a waiter, via your phone) which makes it all the more impressive how efficiently orders are completed.

I also deeply appreciate that it has some of the best acoustics of all the dining locations on 14th Street. (I can actually hear people sitting directly across from me without them having to yell over other patrons or obnoxious music!)“

“This is definitely my new go-to Chinese spot.

I submitted a large take out for my brothers birthday dinner and knew this spot was fire when they called to ask for clarification for my order. We ordered a two general tso chicken combination platter with fried rice, mei fun (thin noodles) with shrimp and also another one with chicken, general tso tofu combination platter and additional sides (fries + vegetable fried rice). I personally ate the chicken mei fun and the food was so good I forgot to get a picture. It was so flavorful and addicting. I added a bit of their chili oil on top and it was the perfect level of spicy that complimented my food. I spent about $108 for all our food which isn’t bad to serve 7 people.

If not, just be sure to ask your servers for help. It's a very casual spot, and there were a lot of families eating here. The noodles were very good, and all of the ingredients and toppings were fresh. If you are new to Chinese food or looking for more of the standards (e.g. fried rice, beef and broccoli, etc.) then take a close look at the menu before coming here to make sure there will be something you like.“

I feel like you could bring friends and family to this restaurant and just have shareable as the plate seem pretty large. I did bring my six month old baby and our stroller which I wouldn’t do again lol it’s pretty tight in there, but it was still enjoyable. They have a lot of fun drinks that atmosphere feels really cool when you go after 4:00 PM. The staff is really nice and I can tell each item you order is being made fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. I will say the restaurant was busy inside and out and like I said it’s pretty small so they were moving as fast as they could and I wasn’t in a rush. At first, I thought this was going to be fast casual, but it’s really like a cocktail bar with really yummy food. Giving you still that restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be in College Park so happy I found it. Definitely get the fried dumplings. They were out of this world. And technically I ordered the dish that’s called spicy pork broth, but I didn’t get it spicy because I shared it with my six month old who also absolutely loved it.
I also got two drinks. They were delicious cocktails I got one called Berry Bizz (which is a sweet high ball drink), and the one pictured which is technically called citrus something but instead of orange juice, I asked them to fill it up with cranberry juice. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t bring more than one baby lol, I wouldn’t bring a stroller, and I would definitely use this as a fun cocktail night for a date night, with your bestie, or with your family. Also, my bill was high, but if you remove my drinks, you could go there and technically spend $10-$20.“

I'm not a Chinese food connoisseur but this meets my test for good weekend comfort food with reasonable prices and good portions. Location is sketchy but the kitchen area looks remarkable clean and open for a fast food joint. Ordered pork fried rice twice and added Szechuan Beef on the second trip. They didn't disappoint. “Stopped in for lunch and decided to dine in since location had plenty of tables and were clean. Location was convenient, staff was friendly and polite. Ordered a lunch special Triple Delight with fried rice and a small combination Lo-Mein. Service was quick, portions were a very good size and each entree was cooked perfectly and tasted great. A egg role came with the lunch special. It had a perfect crisp and the taste was okay.

“It’s a takeout restaurant with no seating. The ordering area is clean and well lit.
The customer service is really really good. They talk to you respectfully on the phone, which I really appreciate.
I ordered shrimp and broccoli as well as orange chicken and I really liked both. The shrimp are big and juicy and they give you a good portion. The broccoli is crisp and fresh, I actually ordered twice in a week. The fried rice is okay, I’ll ask for eggs and veggies in it next time.
They also have decent prices!!
I’m very picky when it comes to Chinese food, and they are yet to disappoint me.

“My husband and I were in town for business and decided to look for somewhere nearby and Magic Gourd popped up. We decided to give it a try. The food was great but the service was even better. It's a cute chill restaurant. There is a bar setup. We sat at a small table in the dining area. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband said he hates that if he has the dish anywhere else it won't be as good 🤭. He's not wrong. It was some of the best general tso chicken I've had as well as the beef & broccoli. The broccoli was cooked but still had a nice crunch. The meat for both dishes were fresh and for the chicken there was more chicken than breading which is hard to come by at places. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.“

“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“
