This spot is perfect for a casual night out with friends. The vibrant atmosphere, especially in the evening, gives you the feeling of being immersed in the heart of Chinatown. We walked around, checked out some shops, and even stopped for a delicious meal. It’s a great place to enjoy good food, shopping, and the cultural charm of the area. Definitely recommend it if you want to explore the sights and sounds of Washington, D.C. in a relaxed setting

ChinaTown offers seriously good Ameri-Chinese food with fresh, flavorful dishes and great portions for a respectable price. The vibrant atmosphere, especially in the evening, gives the feeling of being immersed in the heart of Chinatown. The food is absolutely amazing and never disappoints. Popular menu items include General Tso’s Chicken, Chicken Wings with Mumbo sauce (real DC mumbo sauce), Egg Foo Young, and delicious Lo Mein in any flavor. The General Tso’s chicken is not overly breaded, very saucy, and comes with broccoli, carrots, and green peppers. The pork lo mein is not cheap on the meat, with containers busting at the seams. It is carry-out only with no tables to eat at inside, just a few chairs for waiting. The owners and new management are fluent in English, friendly, and helpful. The family who owns the place is so, so sweet. Open every day except Tuesday, this spot is perfect for a casual night out or a solid takeout choice with excellent service.
