“Hands down the best Pho Ga I've had in the area. Their beef based Pho is very good, but others do it better. Also, currently the best iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk I've ever had, but note that I don't like coffee normally. Fast service, cheap, hot steamy deliciousness. The ambiance and atmosphere are mainly for speed and efficiency, but who cares! If you have a small party, expect to share a table with another small group when crowded. I always feel better after a bowl of theirs.”
“Excellent!! Finally found a good Asian restaurant in the area. Everything we ordered was a 10/10. Sweet and sour chicken and white meat orange chicken were the best. Huge selection, and it was finished fast. Place was also packed with people who ordered to-go, so clearly it’s the best spot in town. Loved it!!”
“Very good food and customer service. Had problem with my initial order and the owner was so nice to take care of it as he doesn't like his clients unhappy. Amazing service I received and the food is the bomb!!! My first time ordering from there and it was a take out. Next time I'll done in. Great atmosphere.”
“Certainly deserves a much higher rating. The mole and Carne asada are excellent, reminding me of Mexico. The mole has the sweetness I recall from boyhood and just needs to be spiced up.”
“For what this shop tries to be, it is great. It has pretty good quality food, it has efficient staff, and it gets full points for convenience for customers in the area. Selection is limited so don't expect anything gourmet. Ironically, they don't offer basil as a pizza topping.”
“Been ordering from here since I was a kid. Probably the best Chinese food I’ve had. I usually always order for pick up and I always get an estimate on how long it’ll take. The food never takes long at all. Will keep ordering!”
“Had my graduation party here, the owner personally came out and congratulated me and my family. Waitresses are great, food was perfect and they played all the music we wanted.”
“The food is served cafeteria style. They have a wide array of selections... From chicken to beef to fish. They have pupusas, tortas, etc. The pricing for the food is reasonable. Be on the lookout for deals! The atmosphere was okay. My only gripe was that the music was too loud.”
“i have been coming here for years, and they have never done me wrong, i will always love having there food it’s apart of my childhood, and i love their service always soo quick and ”
“Very good food the PrimeRib and T Bone steak is excellent, service is timely even thou the wait staff work both lounge/bar and restaurant the atmosphere can only get better with customers and time. I am a regular customer that enjoys the hospitality and company of the staff and patrens of the Golden Bull hope to see new faces”
“(Translated by Google) It is the only Chinese food that is good since 2001 until now I am still going to buy there just that one of the girls is sometimes bad(Original)Es la única comida china que buena desde el 2001 asta ahora todavía voy a comprar ahí nomas q una de las muchachas aveces esta de malas”
“I get why the reviews are mixed, but this place is really what you make it. I went. It was a vibe and I would go again. I’m only giving four stars because the drinks are not strong enough for the price. But, the music and ambiance were great!”
“The place is superb and spacious, the food was yummy and the prices were very fair. fast, productive service and very personal staff. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.”
“My friend brings me Milanesa sandwiches from here all the time and they are amazing. The bread is fantastic, clearly, but the whole thing is great. Not that you can go wrong with fried chicken cutlets, lettuce, cheese, and jalapeños. And they are huge! Definitely one of my favorite sandwiches ever. I've been inside once, after eating next door at the beloved Taqueria el Mexicano. I picked up a small dessert and remember liking it, but can't remember what it was. The staff is friendly. Parking is tight in the lot but you can usually find a space or two.”
“Good and tasty Salvadoran food, majority of food is ready on a steam table for quick service. There is so much good food that you'll be undecided on what you want to eat. I like that it gives you the feeling of being in El Salvador being served by women who are cooking their hearts out. Thank you for the Latin soul food.”
“This location still serves the best fried chicken and biscuits. The servers are also very friendly and helpful. However, the minus star is for charging an additional 6% food tax on top of the already 6% Maryland tax. A lot of places are asking you if you want the receipt and sometimes I used to say no. Because it's just another piece of paper I thought to save from the environment. But I'm beginning to get it printed because I'm finding out that some places are charging additional taxes. Plus occasionally I give tips on them charging me these additional taxes. Be informed of what places are charging you if it matters to you.”
“Unconventional, maybe.Unbelievable, definitely!Seldom do patrons RAVE about a lunch experience but this was anUnmatched culinary experience.Yes service, food and vibe wasUnconventionalUnbelievable andUnmatchedPut this diner on your bucket list.Ken Rosen”
“When indecisive, go for the chefs table which includes all of the apps but also an extra tasting per course. Aside from the food which was near perfect, the ambiance is very unique outside dining in a semi enclosed courtyard, railyard bar, and dining in a lodge-like room with fireplace. Some of my favorite dishes were the veggies, surprising because I'm more of a meat eater. Cocktails were excellent but do ask the bartender since not all liquor is documented. Wine list is extensive”
“Visited Compass Rose in DC and indulged in their Tour of the World brunch menu. It was an exquisite culinary journey featuring flavors from around the globe. Every dish was simply delicious! The staff were exceptionally welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a delightful dining adventure!"”
“We love Oyster Mania Mondays at Pearl Dive! We make it a regular date night outing to indulge in dozens of half-priced, delicious, fresh, and cold oysters sourced from various locations. Additionally, I always order the incredibly tasty mussels served with toasted baguette slices to soak up all that delicious sauce. The staff consistently delivers friendly and attentive service too, which makes each visit enjoyable.”
“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen”
“Food was great, and service was good. We sat in the dining room this time. Next time will seat in the bar lounge area. Menu prices are reasonable and you bring in bottles not on list for $35 corkage fee.”
“Great ambiance and service in this Michelin star restaurant with food to match. We got the tasting menu to try a bunch of dishes and overall thought the food was still similar to Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern food I’ve had before but with a unique twist on the vegetable dishes. My favorites were the cauliflower hash (reminded me a lot of Gujarati shaak that I ate growing up) and the halloumi + muhmmara dips. Unfortunately, I thought all the cocktails were very mid, so I wouldn’t recommend drinks there unless it’s something you already know.”
“One of the better dining experiences I’ve had in DC - of any type of cuisine. Solid cocktails, very good service, delicious and incredibly inspired menu. Excited to go back.”
“Our server, Frank was incredibly welcoming and kind. We had some lovely conversation with him throughout the meal and enjoyed the service, courses, and the overall atmosphere. Each course was paired well with Audrey's Wine pairing and the dishes were stunning.”
“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!”
“An interesting culinary experience. You MUST visit and I suggest the gigantic shrimp, as well as the short rib tacos. The service was to die for and all at an affordable price point. Well done, dLeña!!!”
“I liked the attention today and I always went to eat Sandra and Paola I think that's their name they are at the buffet place delicious food greetings keep up the good ”
