“Amazing food. Attentive staff. This place serves a delicious variety of Mexican foods, beverages, and the best flan I have ever tasted. Our favorites include Tlayudas with pork, Bistec con Salsa Pasilla, Pastor Tacos. You really can’t go wrong. The offer tasty aguas frescas, tasty libations, and that creamy flan I mentioned above. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Angel is a gentleman, and listens carefully in order to customize your experience. I really kind of hate to let everyone know about this hideaway in Wheaton, but I can’t stop bragging on them!”

“The Taco Bell that you can eat good food with a kick ( alcohol ) . Food was fantastic . I had the twisted Baja blast with Rum . So refreshing . Nice amount of seating and this place is truly 24 hours . Service was professional and they were quick on our orders ( 7 of us ) . Atmosphere was chill too . Still a fast food establishment so don’t expect perfection but it was still a nice experience. Hence the 4/5 for me . Definitely would go again with friends.

I wanted to get coffee while my wife wanted a smoothie so we stumbled into this place. She loved her smoothie so much that she decided to get another one for our kid (they usually share one). The 2 staff members were amazing and answered every question she had in a very pleasant manner and allowed my wife to substitute one of the ingredients in the smoothie.”

“Have I ever tried Senegalese food before? No. Will I have it again? Only if it tastes like Koité. Lamb Dibi with Jollof rice. So much flavor packed into this delicious dish.
And the spicy Dijon sauce was amazing. I took a couple tastes and immediately googled what was in it. So so good! Perfectly blended with the meat flavors.
Service was friendly, polite, and helpful. There's a family atmosphere in the restaurant, and it was very comfortable. Sadly, I live over an hour away, but if I'm in Silver Springs or anywhere close, I'll be back.”

“We were a little hesitant because of how small the store front was but it ended up being absolutely delightful! We had the empanadas as an appetizer, they were delicious. The bread was such a great consistency, better than the best cornbread. I had the carne asada, and it was so fresh and delicious. All of the food was very authentic! I even tried a new drink, not alcoholic, it was like a tea that was cold but somewhat spicy. It was delicious !! We will definitely be going back for another round ;-) Service was very quick and polite as well.”

All of their dishes are made fresh in their food Truck. Again my only complaint is their business etiquette which is basically non-existent.”

“When I started my stumbling Spanish, the lady called her coworker to the window who spoke perfect English. I ordered two tasty tacos double wrapped in soft tortillas for just $7. The portions were generous, and the beef well seasoned. There's a table in a divider strip between the parking lot and the street, so the ambiance is basic taco truck.”

“I am part Polish. My great grandmother came from there to Ellis Island in 1906. She raised my Mother who is now in an assisted living environment less than 1 mile away from this place. I am always looking for little things to help brighten her day when I visit several times a week. Polka Deli in has proven to be an ideal solution and helping me meet that goal. My earliest memories are eating freshly made pierogies and kielbasa in my great grandmothers kitchen with my mom and others. Enjoying the amazing food and snacks I’ve picked up here helps both of us during these very difficult times as she is confined to a bed over 90% of the time. She only eats a few bites so my diet is not improving but getting the smile from her and as we drift in and out of memories together is priceless.”

“Wow! We ate here as a family, party of 9. It was my fathers first time eating Ethiopian food. This was by far THE BEST ETHIOPIAN food we have had in the DMV! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with amazing service, accommodated for our large party and assisting my father with handicapped access. They served us delicious homemade chips and the food was mouth watering. We ordered two larger platters and every bite was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Very fresh food and my dad was very impressed with his experience. We topped off our meal with yummy desserts! We will be back soon, I highly recommend eating here.”

“worst service ever. My family and I actually had to walk out and we were a group of 10. They did not want to serve us and I was told I should of made reservations. I watched the waitress/server clean other people’s table and completely ignore us. A customer who was a regular had to wipe down my table for us (I should’ve walked out then )but we drove an hour to come here And we were trying to just deal with the poor customer service so we can eat. Customers that were seated after us were able to order before us and receive their food. when we finally had the opportunity to order food we were told that they were out of oxtails pork and fish which made no sense because people were still ordering takeout for the same items we were trying to order.. You would think we were sitting there for free meals. The waitress told me she was going to the back to check to see what they have but when she came back she went to the bar area and started taking someone else’s orders and completely ignored us .We ended up walking out with no apology given. She Just looked at us as if she was happy to see us go because she couldn’t handle a table size of 10 people. All we were trying to do was support our Haitians. Its a shame we were treated so poorly. I suggested this restaurant to my family who drove an hour to be treated so poorly .Do not visit this restaurant”
