“My son and I visited El Golfo Restaurant last weekend. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with reviewing the menu options. Our meals were generously sized and delicious. Live music was playing and a nice addition to the atmosphere. We would highly recommend this authentic and reasonably priced restaurant.“

“Ordene un arroz con gandules y unas alcapurrias. El arroz con gandules estaba durisimo no se podia ni comer. Fui a decirle a la muchacha que si me lo podia cambiar por otra cosa y se nego me dijo que tenia q ser por el mismo arroz. Le dije que no lo queria que me devolviera mi dinero y se nego. No se lo recommends a nadie el services fue malisimo. Las actitudes de la dama fueron malisimas. Una vez te cobras lo que quieren es quedarse con tu dinero.“

“I can't wait to return here! They have four (new?) vegan options! The Soyrizo Pupusa (about $5) was melty and gooey and amazing! Wow! The Plantain and Avacado Bowl is perfect for dinner or a hungry person's lunch (about $11). I would order the Enchiladas to split as an appetizer (about $8.50) or order it for a kid, as it is on the small size, but it's amazingly tasty! The Empanada de Platano is out of this world! It's sweet and has a lightly spiced flavor and just so warm and soft inside! (About $5).“

“Delicious food and very friendly people. The manager recognizes people and is attentive. The only bad thing is that they no longer sell desserts like they used to. The soups are not that good but I recommend the pupusas and meat. It is good to eat both alone and with the family.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Inexpensive, authentic, and delicious Latin American food. The pupusas and tacos are great. There are other things on the menu but I’ve never tried them, because once you’ve tried the pupusas and tacos it’s hard to order anything else.“

“I stopped by this food truck and ordered a pupusa and a quesadilla. Both of these were fantastic, quickly prepared, and had me stuffed. Really great food at a very reasonable price.

“Well this place is widely known for their tacos and unbelievable pupusas. I’ve been here several times and will be back. Got the quesadilla today along with tacos and such. Always a hit. The staff is nice, patient, and there’s typically a line.“

“It’s real shame some people have had bad experiences. My fiancé and I always have the best food from here. They’re usually ok. The owner is a little serious but he’s chill. I am sorry to hear other people had a bad experience. I hope it gets better!“

“Don't let the looks, keep you from enjoying this gem. Friendly staff. We had cheese papusas, beef tacos, pork and cheese papusa and grilled shrimp plate. The 6 large shrimp were perfectly cooked and the rice and refried beans delicious We were there at 6:30 Quiet and not crowded Go!!!“

“Birria pizza is as unique as it gets! It is interestingly prepared and loaded with cheese. Comparable to getting multiple birria tacos.Burrito is a good get as well. Ensalada on the side. The pupusa was one of the tastiest pupusas that I've ever had. Many locals eating inside.“
