“Whole experience was awesome. It was my first time going in and second time getting food from that location.
Flora understood the assignment when I called to confirm my order was received. She assured me it was and it was actually already ready. I was surprised and thankful. When I came in, she instantly knew it was me and personally went to grab my order. Flora even reminded me to get my drink 😂😂 I'm beyond happy with the experience and of course the food was awesome.“

“My son and I visited El Golfo Restaurant last weekend. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with reviewing the menu options. Our meals were generously sized and delicious. Live music was playing and a nice addition to the atmosphere. We would highly recommend this authentic and reasonably priced restaurant.“

“I’ve been ordering delivery from here for 4 years and on occasion have dined in. For years I’ve always ordered burritos because they travel easier but tonight I ordered a carne asada dinner for delivery and it was delicious. This place is great and their staff is wonderful.“
“Finally legit Mexican food! I’m picky coming from LA but this place is awesome. Killer Birria and El Pastor tacos. Jamaica drink was perfect, not too sweet. Was full of people for late lunch so the word must be out—this place is awesome!

“It’s real shame some people have had bad experiences. My fiancé and I always have the best food from here. They’re usually ok. The owner is a little serious but he’s chill. I am sorry to hear other people had a bad experience. I hope it gets better!“

“Authentic, delicious Oaxacan food! The owners are so passionate – not only is the food spectacular but you will also come away knowing so much more about regional Mexican cuisine. DC has needed a restaurant like this for a loooooong time. Go eat there and support them as soon as possible!!!“
