I ended up doing a walk in & ended up at the bar, my server at the bar was Paul! He truly made my visit outstanding! He was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. His knowledge of the menu and willingness to ensure my dining experience was perfect truly stood out. “I recently had the pleasure of visiting Los Caballeros for their weekend brunch and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff and the owner himself. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and had a laid-back vibe, perfect for a lazy weekend brunch. Now let's talk about the food. Los Caballeros proved to be a pleasant surprise. They were able to accommodate options for vegetarians, vegans, and pescatarians. But what truly stole the show for me were the drinks. I highly recommend trying their pitcher of tamarindo margarita. It was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, and definitely hit the spot. They also had other options like mimosas and bloody marys for those who prefer a classic brunch drink. The owner, who was also our server, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made sure we were enjoying our meal and even gave us some recommendations for their signature dishes. It was evident that he takes great pride in his restaurant and wants his customers to have a memorable experience. To end our brunch on a sweet note, we decided to try their dessert. And let me tell you, it was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.Overall, my experience at Los Caballeros was exceptional. From the food to the drinks to the service, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend checking them out for their weekend brunch or even for a regular meal. The owner and his team have truly created a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for their customers. So next time you're in the mood for some delicious food, head over to Los Caballeros and treat yourself to a delightful brunch. You won't regret it.Parking: This area of parking gets very busy due to being right beside the area of the Capitol.“

“Vera has completely won me over with their exceptional cuisine and inviting atmosphere. Let's talk about the branzino - it's an absolute game changer. Tender, flavorful, and simply to die for. If you visit Vera, make sure to try it - you won't regret it. And speaking of must-tries, their Dios Del Andes y Cedro cocktail is a personal favorite of mine. It's a delightful blend of flavors that truly impresses. And let's not forget about the guacamole - it's fresh, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a seafood aficionado or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience, Vera is a must-visit destination. And the service is always amazing.“

“Fun place with great food! You wouldn't think eating ants would work but it does!Get the Gorditas or the ceviche to start and then the tacos. Al pastor and the Chicatanas are outstanding. The ants don't add much flavor. Just a satisfying crunch“

“This taco truck is located on 14th St in Arlington,Virginia, right off of Rt. 50 West. Not only are the tacos here delicious but the customer service is very good. The few times I drove by this food truck I noticed pretty decent customer lines which led me to believe this place sold delicious tacos. However on this day I was in luck because the truck did not have a line, on a Saturday evening. I could smell the grill as I crossed the street on my way to the truck. The ordering process was very easy and efficient. On this occasion I ordered Asada (beef) and Pastor (pork) tacos to-go. The tacos were full-flavor and delicious. Overall this was a good taco truck experience and one which I will try again when in the area. Give them a shot for your next taco experience.“

“Being from Texas, I had to keep in mind that this was not Tex-Mex. The food was awesome! We had cucaraches, which was fried shrimp with a hot sauce, and nacho mama for appetizers. They were both amazing! The sauce is really not too spicy, just a little tangy . Birria tacos were good and cheesy. Everything was good! Service was prompt even though we had reservations. Nice and cozy, with low lighting. I tried a drink- A Piná which wasn't frozen but served over slushy ice. This place is definitely one to put in your rotation.“

“The restaurant has a very small space and you could definitely feel the close proximity that makes it feel cramped.Despite this, we were seated very effectively and the food was delivered in such a timely manner. The dish options were normal but not overwhelming and the appetizers and entrees were incredibly flavorful. I would say depending on your dish, it may be smaller or larger than you expect.I would advise not taking a car as it probably applies to all of DC, public transit and walking access was amazing and the area did not feel unsafe at the 8pm hour that we ate.Overall, we enjoyed our service, a comfortable authentic Mexican place for visitors!Parking: We saw some parking spots but very difficult to navigate around this area with car.“

“This is a very good taco truck experience in Arlington, VA. The first time I visited was a Sunday evening and surprisingly the truck had a line of customers waiting to be served. To me this was a good indication that prepare good food. The ordering process was simple and where the truck is stationed there are a couple picnic tables off to the side for customers to eat their food on-site. The tacos here are delicious. I've tried their Asada and Pastor tacos, both of which are delicious and had all of the appropriate Mexican flavors you'd expect. I've also tried their quesadillas. On two separate occasions I ordered the chicken quesadilla and both times they were delicious. More importantly the way in which the quesadillas were prepared was consistent both times. What I like about their quesadillas is they just don't load them with melty cheese for the visual effect. It seems they use a Mexican blend cheese and an adequate amount. The flavor is present which I appreciate most. This isn't the normal cheesy quesadilla that is flavorless. Overall a very good experience. Give them a try.“

“I ordered the 3 beef tacos (tacos de Birria) that came with a consommé. Amazing. Service was fast and friendly. They are doing some facade changes out front, landlord? My husband had the chicken enchiladas and he really liked them. They give a green sauce with the chips that was very tasty. I would definitely come here again.“

“Authentic Mexican food, but small portions for the price. Came to taqueria habanero with some friends because we've been looking for good, authentic Mexican food in DC. Surprisingly, it's been more difficult to find than we thought! I ordered the huarache with steak and I also shared the guac and chips with my table. I was excited to see huaraches on the menu because it's not available everywhere. When my plate came, it looked and tasted delicious, but I felt that the portion was quite small for $15. I know Mexican food in DC is pricy either way, but where I'm from, I would be able to get a huarache triple the size for the same price. I also am someone who gets full pretty easily, but this meal did not fill me up. Still looking for my go-to spot in DC and this is definitely a contender, but the portion size really is a factor for me.“

“The food quality was good, and cooked quickly! The queso was amazing. The only complaint I have is the coco fresa tasted like something rotten was in it. The after taste was rough. “Went there for a dinner with my dad - he is a flavor snob.Immediately, the service stuck out. Our waiter was on us, telling us the house favorites and getting us ready for their margaritas. The margaritas were okay, probably the last thing to write home about. Also thought they were a little pricey, but that’s all drinks in DC.We started with queso fundido; a queso-string-cheese hybrid topped with jalapeños, onions, and tomatoes. Was fantastic and paired amazing with their corn tortillas. For dinner, we tried the fish, chicken, and brisket tacos and ordered their birria taco-quesadilla (apparently also a house fav). All of the tacos were great; chicken and brisket were super tender, fish taco was juicy with sweet crema nodes. The birria taco-quesadilla was definitely more of just a quesadilla, I think it was the best meat on the table (my dad would disagree).Great vibes, trendy decor, has that small taqueria feel. If you’re looking for something boujee, not the place; if you want somewhere upbeat, affordable, and intimate, it is the place.“

“We love Guapo’s and come here often. Wait times are long but sometimes you get lucky. The drinks and food are delicious. However I had my first bad experience with a waiter this weekend. I paid the bill with my card and was going to leave a cash tip, the lady saw me select “no tip” and told me “tip is not included” …. I know how tipping works and it should never be excepted but appreciated. It left a sour taste. Especially given we always TIP well. Made me not want to leave anything at all. Very unprofessional!“
