Everyone was super nice and the food was great!
My (admittedly large) party came in early and got seated ahead of time thanks to the hostess and server, who were both excellent. Margaritas were good albeit rims were a little oversalted but some may enjoy that. Food was excellent but $20 for 3 tacos seems a bit excessive even in downtown DC.
The quesabirria is the best!

Mi Vida is a highly recommended restaurant in DC, praised for its delicious food and great service. Guests love the Alitas Adobadas, pecado tacos, camarones tacos, and the spicy house margarita. The servers are sweet and attentive, making it a great spot for families with a kid-friendly menu. The location right off the mall offers a lively vibe, and the outside area adds to the fun atmosphere. The cocktails are outstanding—balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. The empanadas mariscos are perfectly crisp on the outside and filled with rich, flavorful seafood inside, which many guests find just yum. The menu may be a little smaller and a tad expensive, with no draft beers available, but service remains great. Guests also enjoy the freshly made chips and sauces, as well as free bites from the manager. Despite some initial hiccups, the amazing food and friendly staff make Mi Vida a favorite spot for a great meal and a good time.
