“I had an amazing experience hosting a large party at El Techo. The owner and team were great! As were the food, drinks, ambiance and service. 10/10, I would recommend this place to anyone“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“Easily one of the best spots in DC, with some of the best food. The corn tamal, grilled leeks w/ mole, and lamb neck barbacoa were some particular favorites, but everything was delicious, fresh, and carefully crafted. The cocktails were excellent, the patio was extremely pleasant, with attentive service — everyone was so kind. A true 10/10.“

“Had an amazing experience at Los Caballeros! The fajitas were absolutely awesome perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The margaritas were just as impressive, and the atmosphere and ambiance really made the whole night special. Big thank you to Chris for the outstanding service. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Solid, easy, and unique dinner spot to catch up with your friends. Ambiance was great. Decor was great. Vibe was great. Food was great. Drinks were unique, but I wasn’t crazy about any of the ones I had to be honest taste-wise! The steak was amazing. Ceviche was tasty.
We had 5 people and spent 88$ each - we had 1-2 drinks each and apps, sides, and main dishes, which we all shared. Everyone we met there was super friendly, staff involved. You can take great pictures here lol.
Wish we had stayed for the DJ. Music/club area started playing music around 10:30-11pm, but no one out on the dance floor yet and we just decided to call it a night! Parking was easy at 7:30pm, and free on the street. 1 min walk into it. Street parking gets more packed as the night goes on, of course. When I was going back to my car at 11pm it was packed.“

“The fresh guacamole was excellent, the burrito was absolutely delicious, and the bowl was packed with flavorful ingredients. The chef even came out to ask if our family was enjoying the meal, which was a very thoughtful. Great service, great food, and a wonderful quick stop near the capitol and library of congress.“

“My (admittedly large) party came in early and got seated ahead of time thanks to the hostess and server, who were both excellent. Margaritas were good albeit rims were a little oversalted but some may enjoy that. Food was excellent but $20 for 3 tacos seems a bit excessive even in downtown DC.“

“Blown away. Food was incredible, all the staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly, and my one complaint is that I waited until my last night to try this place… I would’ve eaten here every single night of my visit. I got the chicken tacos (cooked well, salsa and seasoning was flavorful and it wasn’t a skimpy portion), the mushroom tacos (phenomenal. 100/10. Seriously the best vegetarian tacos I’ve had in a hot minute, speaking as a Portlander), and the churros (also great). Didn’t take a picture cuz I ate it too fast. It’s Taco Tuesday ($5/two taco plate) but I ate so much I didn’t stay under $40 😂 that said, please plan a hefty tip for this awesome staff to make the difference between the price of this spot and a Cap Hill snobby spot… I promise it’s worth it.“

“Honestly this has been my go to spot for years as I loved their farm to table, healthy, vegetarian tacos! However, I sadly won’t be returning as they’ve just added chicken to their menu! Such a shame- vegetarian spots in dc are hard to come by- there are countless other places that serve chicken tacos. Such a shame, as I always brought all our friends and family here! Hope they change it back to all vegetarian!“

“We came to this location today with a group of students who were taking cups and filling them up without paying. They were so gracious and patient with us, and on top of that the food was so, so good. I ordered the deluxe fish tacos and one was plenty! If I'm ever back in DC, I'll be eating here again!“

“First time at a Dos Toros but I’ll be back for more. The service was fast and friendly, the protein choices a little broader than other burrito places and i love the way they wrap it in foil (very consistent; looks a little like a tamale). The atmosphere is sort of “vanilla” but it was clean, functional and well appointed. Definitely worth the trip.

“Enjoyed a great meal at District Taco. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made to order with high-quality ingredients. The tacos are packed with flavor, the queso is excellent, and the variety of proteins and toppings makes it easy to customize your meal. Service is quick and friendly, making it a perfect option for a casual lunch or dinner. Consistently good food, generous portions, and great value. Definitely one of my go-to spots for tacos in the area.“

“I’d say this is a solid neighborhood taco spot. I’ve eaten here several times, and it’s been consistently good. The food is fresh, the service is friendly, and it’s a reliable option when you’re craving tacos.
While it may not be the most memorable taco place in town, it’s definitely one I keep coming back to. I’d also choose it over Chipotle any day.“

“Best affordable tacos I've found in the district so far! Double tortilla, generous portion of filling and extra sauces you can get in the store. The staff is really nice and the service is quick. We havent had a bad taco experience yet! La Cosecha is a great place to eat at different spots and Apapacho Taqueria is a staple! Check it out if youre in the area!“

“The food was good quality, and on par with Mexican restaurants in the district. For some reason, restaurants in the DMV always make a good branzino, and Muchas Gracias is no exception. Although I didn’t try the tres leches, it looked absolutely amazing. The hole in the wall, narrow cantina atmosphere was really cool, and created a really interesting place to eat a meal. I had the fajitas (giving them a fair 7.5/10).
The best part of the dining experience was the service. Very, very attentive and understanding to our table, checking if the food was alright or if we needed any drinks, regularly coming to refill water. We did not feel forgotten.“

“We visited DC for four nights. We ate here twice because it was so good. The happy hour specials were delicious and good deals. The salsa is transcendent. Loved the mojito and the sangria. The carnitas, the tinga de pollo and the esquites were AMAZING! The whole staff is awesome and the atmosphere is so cool.“
